GPU with this algorithm are heated too much.
If you're under-volting to maximize hash per watt the heat isn't bad at all. My 1060's are running at 66C (they are inside my house) 580s are running at 54C (out in the garage).

With this version of XMR-stak, can I mined the coin with 2GB in memory of my graphic cards? I stopped mining RYO months ago, and currently have intention to come back to mine the coin due to the price of bitcoin tend to move up. And, it might bring more profits for mining.
there is no requirement for memory amount basically. The algo is designed to bring nvidia and amd in close conditions (hashrate). And it depends more on chip compute capabilities, rather than memory. More info here

Guys, new gui wallet is very buggy! I try to migrate from lite wallet. Launch new atom wallet - and it demands that folder "C:\ProgramData\ryo" should be present. WTF? I never had any blockchain data on my C: drive, neither it's default OS location. It's all on other drives. And the wallet doesn't start and I can't change anything.
Allright, I put a symbolic link from my existing folder to C: Now wallet can start. I change folder data setting, close wallet and delete symlink. Try to launch wallet - and again it demands "C:\ProgramData\ryo". That's clearly some obvious bug.
Also I'm trying to use remote node, and it says node is not available.

wallet will require this setting to store config file at least, so create it, start wallet, and choose BC folder in settings if you wish to another drive.

What is "BC folder"? I see only "Data Storage Path" and changing it doesn't resolve the issue.

Blockchain folder, is what he meant I'm sure. Yes, the data storage path will direct where the blockchain gets stored, but you'll still need the folder for a variety of configuration files, logs, saved wallets ect. I'm not aware of a cryptonote coin that functions differently right now, but that's some welcome feedback. I can see how a user could welcome the ability to choose an installation directory for all program data to be stored, especially if they prefer to install things outside of the C drive.

I inquired about this a few pages back also and mosu_forge provided an explanation. The conversation starts here. Edit: BTW, once you have the wallet running, you must go to settings and save the current setup so config.json with the correct info registers at the default location (C:\ProgramData\ryo\gui\config.json). The rest of the files/folders would then reside and remain at the explicit location you defined.

ALL wallets that I tried (CN coins included) used OS variable paths. Like %programdata%, or %appdata%. NO ONE of them uses hardcoded links like C:\ProgramData. As far as I'm aware of programmer's coding standards - it's rather unhealthy and lowlevel to use hardcoded links.
