What do you people think about the future of bitcoin or other cryptocurrencies in India under the current government policies? Shocked
If Indian Government banned crypto-currency then you will not be able to encash your crypto-currency in INR. But you can hold your crypto-currency in your personal wallet. No Government can take your crypto-currency from your block-chain based wallet. You can hold your coin as long as you want.
As per latest news, Government of India don’t want to ban crypto-currency. They only want to regulate the Black money involved. So, they are trying to legalize it and thinking to apply some special tax in it.

Earlier in the budget finance minister has declared that bitcoin is not official, but later on he said that we are thinking to make it official and the expert team working on it and collecting information from other countries also. So in near future bitcoin may become official but definitely with some rules and regulations, let's see what happens.

India has already ban the bitcoin in india.but it has a plus point that people from india can trade with bitcoin or can do what ever they want they dont have to face any problems.because security about online trading and about bitcoin india doesn't give much importance.and though it has been banned but by the help of the vpn they can contunuously work with bitcoin.and get theur benifits.and also india has a lot of bitcoiners so it will easy here to grow with bitcoin.so i think the future bitcoin in India is bright.

There are many possibilities in India for crypto currencies to grow. The base of crypto users is very strong in India and many people are trying to get into it.
Recently government also published rough draft in the assembly that bitcoin and other crypto currencies must be taxed with 28% rate and this statement can be taken as conclusive proof that India might be planning on to give the status of legal tender for the bitcoin in the coming days. Otherwise they would have never made draft like that where statements are being made that bitcoin should be taxed and they have value for that too. May be soon India will transform the crypto acceptance in the country.

I think Bitcoin has a great future in India. Although there is some regulatory issues going on currently for Bitcoin but I think it will be solved pretty soon. As the government knows that fighting against Bitcoin is a fight they are going to lose. Also India has a huge population with majority of them being young.

the development of bitcoin or crypto will get better and more rapidly. if the government of India is able to manage well and make the policy well. this will be an example for all countries that prohibit the use of crypto

it is true that every country will slowly start receiving bitcoin because of course if it does not accept it will be as lagging with other developed countries and the thought of young Indians certainly also proposes to continue legalizing bitcoin

To make a good analysis about the future of cryptocurrencies in India, we need to be told the current government policies. However, you may need to find out the outcome of the suits filed against the government by some exchange owners around April, already before the supreme court.

Bitcoin is making the economy of the country really good so we should use the opportunity of high to get benefits for the developments of economy we really needs bitcoin, we should help and support bitcoin for making such kind of decision, so I think after the acceptance and legalization of bitcoin in INDEA we are going to see bitcoin a the highest price ever.

For India, the use of bitcoin is a very good step and the development of many structures of the country. Perhaps other countries, seeing a clear example, will also start using bitcoin.

Even though the government has clearly mentioned that they are willing to eliminate the usage of cryptocurrencies within the country, I don't think that current government will take any decision as of now because elections are coming in the next year and government will not take any risk at this stage in my opinion. We should expect any decision from the next government (most likely it will be the same), on the other hand, domestic exchanges, are preparing for the deadline given by the Reserve Bank of India. Still, users will be able to use banking channels for cryptocurrency to fiat and vice versa trading through the platforms like Localbitcoins.

Bitcoin in India really does have a future since its population is greater than any other country in Asia sector other than China, it has diplomatic controlled relations with most of the countries in the geographic region so there is no external pressure involved to the adoption of bitcoin

Till now I don’t feel that bitcoin has any bright future in India because the government of India is not that much supportive with the bitcoin, there comes a notice from the reserve bank of India dated 03/04/2018 specifying that people have to withdraw their all money that they have invested into bitcoin with in 3 months otherwise after that they will be solely responsible for their loses and this has created panic and a fear in people regarding bitcoin and now they don’t want to invest into bitcoin no more but we cannot predict the future and could have bright future ahead.

Bitcoins in India will be easier to develop because they have more opportunities to do so, and if it develops, it will benefit the neighboring countries.
