Been trading Spectrecoin in Cryptopia and made some good profit. I am so happy that I came across with this project. Truly a unique project and has great potential.

Hi, I would like to ask a question: Have you guys checked whether Spectre is affected by the recent Bitcoin vulnerabilities? (CVE-2018-17144) Would be cool to have a statement on this.

Also what is the current development focused on? Have you achieved some minor milestones during the past ~1 month? Any other interesting things that happened? I think as an ICO member I should have a right to get some minimal information about what is happening, and other people in this forum might be interested in that as well.  Wink

Is there a way to get notified of new "newsletters" / blog posts except via Twitter? Same for new wallet releases, is there a way to get notified or will all minor versions be announced here? I used to get this information via Discord but after being banned from your server despite always supporting the project, it would be helpful to have an alternative information distribution channel.

Can everyone give us a short summit about the current projects the devs are working on? This would be very great to now what is going on with spectre right now. The potential is still huge for this project.

The above vulnerability (CVE-2018-17144) was as a result of changes introduced in Bitcoin Core 0.14 and as Spectrecoin is built around a previous version on Bitcoin Core this does not apply to our code base.

We are excited to announce that Spectrecoin (XSPEC) will be listed on CoinPulse Exchange!

CoinPulse Exchange is listing Spectrecoin (XSPEC) with below trading pairs:

XSPEC/CPEX
XSPEC/ETH
XSPEC/BTC

Deposits will open from November 1, 6:00 AM UTC

Trading and Withdrawals start from November 3, 6:00 AM UTC

Withdrawal Fee: 0.01 XSPEC

Introduction:

Spectrecoin is a Secure Proof-of-Stake (PoSv3) Network with Anonymous Transaction Capability.

Spectrecoin utilizes a range of proven cryptographic techniques to achieve un-linkable, un-traceable and anonymous transactions on its blockchain and also protects the users identities by running all the network nodes as TOR hidden services. Spectrecoin also incorporates TOR obfuscation protocols to operate in TOR blocked countries.

Through the use of dual key stealth technology Spectrecoin provides the ability to generate ‘anonymous tokens’ (SPECTRE) that can be sent anonymously through an implementation of ring signatures based on the Cryptonote protocol to eliminate any transaction history.

Spectrecoin has a professional team of developers and aim to be a top-tier privacy cryptocurrency over the next 12 months.

A doubt, in case the crypto currency is 100% private, guaranteeing the privacy of the user, but if I make a transaction, only I and the recipient will have access to this correct transaction?

The privacy offered by XSPEC guarantees 100% privacy, but you are the final responsible for your privacy.
Yes, indeed the transaction will only be known by you and the other person.

Hi,
I've sent a transaction with XSPEC, but accidentally included too little fee(0,0001). What can I do to speed up the transaction's confirmation or to replace it?

XSPEC is better than Bitcoin, for XSPEC there are no delays, transactions are almost instantaneous.
The fee (extremely low) is automatically calculated by the Spectrecoin wallet, so my conclusion is that you have problems with exchanges,
it is to them that you have to ask: why do they delay your operation?
The Spectrecoin wallet has no delay.
If the fee is less than that indicated by the wallet,
then there is simply no shipping,
but there is no delay from the Spectrecoin network.

You might include more information.
What version wallet were you sending from?
Where were you sending to? ie: another wallet,an exchange? if so which exchange?

as Leo mentioned above.....Spectrecoin [xspec] has a transaction speed of 2 minutes or less.
