Hi,
I've sent a transaction with XSPEC, but accidentally included too little fee(0,0001). What can I do to speed up the transaction's confirmation or to replace it?

XSPEC is better than Bitcoin, for XSPEC there are no delays, transactions are almost instantaneous.
The fee (extremely low) is automatically calculated by the Spectrecoin wallet, so my conclusion is that you have problems with exchanges,
it is to them that you have to ask: why do they delay your operation?
The Spectrecoin wallet has no delay.
If the fee is less than that indicated by the wallet,
then there is simply no shipping,
but there is no delay from the Spectrecoin network.

It's bullshit. The most important feature for a cypto is the consensus. Does XSPEC have a wide consensus?

November 2018 newsletter is just out!

https://news.spectreproject.io/november-2018/

Read about what we have been up to and the big story this month. We have agreed a collaboration for a code review around the privacy and anonymity system. I would also like to remind everyone that Spectrecoin is 2 years old on 20/11/2018!!!

Your comment has no honesty, you take a part of the sentence, and make a false comment, ignore the central issue that refers to the speed of transaction.
The concenso problem has nothing to do with this issue, but I will tell you that Spectrecoin has less than 2 years of life, and moves fast.
We works also on a line of possibilities for wider acceptance, such as the use by users who prefer the privacy of their transactions, in the trade of common and legal things.
This is impossible with Bitcoin currently. Please be more kind, for comment.  Smiley

Hi,
What is POS reward per year in percents? Is it 5% per year?
Is there any sense to POS with only 500 coins?

Hi,
What is POS reward per year in percents? Is it 5% per year?
Is there any sense to POS with only 500 coins?

1. We must differentiate for Staking, the Spectrecoin system or network from an individual user, because they are two different values of interest (%).
The Spectrecoin network pays 5% interest annually for all people who do Staking, because it is the incentive to ensure the processing of transactions.
If everyone (without exception) does staking, then everyone gets 5% of the amount they have in their device, but this situation is ideal,
because normally, only half as much is staking, then the conclusion is that as an individual,
you will normally receive more than 5% (10% on average) because you will also be receiving the amount corresponding to the absent persons.

2. It only makes sense, if you plan to gradually increase the amount, because with the current prices, it is easy to do this,
just you observe that a bad quality copy of the Spectrecoin wallet, (TPAY), today it has a price per coin, higher than $ 1.00, in CMC.

Has XSPEC been accepted anywhere as a form of payment? After 2 years one would expect a marketplace big or small to list spectrecoin as an acceptable currency, otherwise it will not be able to to compete with other privacy coins (or any coin)

Spectre doesn't believe in marketing. Magically markets are going to add them as a payment method you will see  Roll Eyes

Yes, Cryptopia is safe with 2FA, but it's safer to keep on your own Spectrecoin wallet.
The wallet from the moment you open it for the first time, you just have to make a configuration, it is to put your secret key or password.
All the other configuration options, are already configured for optimal and safe operation. You can see all the options, but you do not need to configure anything.
If you someday want to ask about these options in Discord, at Spectrecoin we have the luxury of being able to speak with developers every day.
Come to Discord and ask, they will gladly answer you how to enter your password:

So basically, after 2 years spectrecoin it is still just a coin with a privacy wallet. Bit disappointing really, i would expect new management to push and establish more real world usage

I think that this project will develop more actively at a time when the market goes up. Now many projects are frozen.

If you are really interested in this project, I will only tell you that it has a very active development, at this precise moment.

Define dead please. All low caps are facing low liquidity during this bear.
Buy side may have gotten to greedy. Noone is willing to sell below 3k sats, coz that have been our support for very long time.
The other day we had someone just straight out buy sell wall worth 9btc.

Development only restarted during this bear after the changes in leading/dev team. It's been making more progress than ever before.

Where can I find any progress on the development?

Is development still on or stopped? If devs still are working on it, there is a hope for next bull market. Otherwise, let's quit.

You can check Spectrecoins software development on github or Cryptomiso https://www.cryptomiso.com/ . Currently development wise Xspec is ranked among the top 100 cryptos by github commits.
