In Spectrecoin Discord there is a dedicated channel for raspi, in this channel you will receive a faster response than in Bitcointalk. https://discord.gg/FY7VtWK

I'm dismayed about whether Spectrecoin will keep Bisq as an exchange in the long-term (and if we don't it may ultimately shoot us in the foot). It can be seen from their trading volume -- https://coinmarketcap.com/exchanges/bisq/ -- that the primary function of Bisq is as a peer-to-peer Monero-Bitcoin exchange, followed by Bitcoin-Euro private exchanges, followed by trade of another prominent privacy coin (ZCash-BTC). Meanwhile, their page https://docs.bisq.network/exchange/howto/list-asset.html indicates that "At each new release we will check whether already-listed assets have been traded in the past 4 months. If this requirement is not met the asset will be removed." And Spectrecoin is essentially at 4 months since a trade using that platform now (I was on one side of that trade in December, and I've had buy orders placed off-and-on the past three weeks [including currently but it seems people only consider the centralized exchanges/honeypots]). Bisq seems ideal for Spectrecoin -- just look at the point-of-view and ethics contained in their "A brief Introduction to Bisq" ( https://docs.bisq.network/intro.html ) and their Vision page ( https://bisq.network/vision/ ). Note, in particular, that coins stay in one's possession until a trade is made (instead of sitting at an external exchange pooled with other coins that can be a tempting hacking target [as with Cryptopia]). This is also important for any future point when governments or regulators might apply "soft pressure" to exchanges or countries that host centralized exchanges. It seems probable that centralized exchanges that grow more prominent or professional in the developed world will become less private; whereas, more private centralized exchanges will be operated out of less-trustworthy locales. Also Bisq operates exclusively over Tor. Anyhow, if we do lose Bisq because people would rather chase volume on centralized exchanges, I've at least done my part by posting this and trying to buy there peer-to-peer simultaneously.

From discord (Mandica): @everyone - I have been in contact with Livecoin and I have been informed that XSPEC deposits and WITHDRAWALS are now OPEN - If you have funds on Livecoin you need to make a decision regarding your funds and trade partner and take action accordingly. I have no issues with Livecoin as long as communication remains open and XSPEC trading / transfers are working. I will keep an eye on the situation. Standard advice applies as always 'Do not use exchanges as a wallet, but only hold funds on any exchange that you intend to trade with'! We have seen exchanges being hacked and private keys apparently lost (QuadrigaCX) and all sorts of other mismanagement and mishaps. Stay safe!
Now the coin can breathe a again. Great to hear that this miserable situation has been solved!

How many XSPEC do you have to own to get stake rewards on a regular basis? I know there is no minimum, but if you have a low amount you have to wait a long time.

How many XSPEC do you have to own to get stake rewards on a regular basis? I know there is no minimum, but if you have a low amount you have to wait a long time.
With currently 5% p.a. it can be calculated with some math. Though it depends as well on the network weight, which usually is settled at ~10% p.a. Meaning. if you have 5000 XSPEC, you get around 500 XSPEC a year. The current staking reward is 2.xx XSPEC. Which gets you to about 250 days of the year to earn rewards.. However, v3. will introduce fixed staking rewards for SPECTRE (=3) and XSPEC (=2). For the eventual % return of each, please have a look at this newsletter. https://www.publish0x.com/spectrecoin-xspec-official-blog/spectreco-newsletter-march-2019-xzrxx

Yes, it's true, it goes up with the whole market, but the good news of the April newsletter easily could double the current price. I do not tell you anything else, so you can read it first-hand: https://news.spectreproject.io/april-2019/

Since LiveCoin has opened Spectrecoin [xspec] up for withdrawals a few days ago.... community users report no problems. And in fact trading and order books are active. No idea what the problem was since Mandica's contact with the right person resulted in an almost instant response. Thank you LiveCoin.....please do better for our upcoming V3.x fork in May
