When knowledge of the Quantum Financial System is announced to the public and cryptos go mainstream because over 200 countries will have their own national blockchain and their own national crypto coins backed by gold, then many coins that are not privacy coins will be scared into collapsing. It is the privacy coins that will remain.

If both the legal big tech criminals and legal government criminals can see your data, so can the illegal criminals.  Swiss based online privacy and data protection is the solution.

What happening with this coin ?

Not sure, honestly this coin is ridiculously undervalued right now. The introduction of PoAS should have given a huge price jump by an order of magnitude because it is just as innovative and private as other coins like, say, Zcash. Spectrecoin is basically Monero with Proof-of-Stake instead of PoW.

I hope that some whale will recognize the value of this coin.  Wink  Probably right now the price dump is just caused by noobs who are trying to time the Bitcoin market.

Of course, since Amsterdex closed down it would be nice to have a different exchange where SPECTRE can be traded, maybe that's a hint the XSPEC team could follow.  Smiley  Also when the mobile wallet gets released next year that should give another confidence boost because it is basically the implementation of the SpectreCash idea from years ago (having a coin that is as private as physical cash and can be used as a drop-in replacement by paying with your smartphone).

Agreed.

Psssst -- there's an arbitrage opportunity by way of Bisq over the next few hours. Wink  (I don't have Discord set up right now or I would have posted this message there instead).

This message will self-destruct
when someone has sold me XSPEC at the premium I'm prepared to buy at there (or this may be revisited over the next few days if noone sees and subsequently acts on this message).  The aforesaid someone can then turn around and buy from Livecoin or wherever and make a profit if he or she so wishes.  Let's make a deal -- this is win-win stuff here folks.

Nice! Creating more volume on Bisq is a really good idea indeed, so thanks for your initiative. I hope somebody will make use of your offer.

I'm still not sure whether it would be possible to trade SPECTRE over Bisq, it would require to be able to prove anonymously that you have sent SPECTRE to a given address. The Spectre devs haven't commented on this yet.

The other problem of course is that unfortunately Bisq requires everybody to keep the application open or run Bisq on a dedicated device (Raspberry etc.) in order to keep one's trading offer alive, and that it requires manual action in order to execute the trade. For most users (including myself, lol) that's an inch too much effort for the benefit of using a decentralized exchange.

xspec has a fixed price in maker orders on bisq, not acceptable on high price fluctuation and low volume on bisq. I do not understand why they do not make the price adjusted to main exchanges, similar to the other coins.

The devs have really got their act together and XSPEC looks great and works flawlessly  Smiley

Also, ZEC is probably the worst coin ever designed ever...
Having 2 types of coins is a horrific idea that kills anon and creates endless complexity...
And Zooko is such a freak that he voluntarily involved himself in the absurd Peter Todd Sex Scandal..
Maybe XSPEC needs a good sex scandal to put it on the map  Smiley

Also, "undervalued" is a relative term. Relative to what?
Similar cap as ONION, ARRR... so debatable considering the design, profile, exchanges, volume and tx/day.

And the single smartest move in crypto the last 9 months has been dumping shitcoins for BTC  Smiley

I agree.  The coin seems to be consolidating post market campaign now. Probably getting ready for another big move up as people's eyes are opened to their own right to privacy.

Spectrecoin 3.0.12 has been released and is now available

This release fixes a critical oversight introduced in the 3.0.10 release which lead to an unintentional fork on block 1,232,433. This was possible because a node staked the exact same ATXO (SPECTRE output) with the same wallet.dat on different network nodes. Normally one chain would win and the other blocks would become orphaned. In this case because of the oversight, a minority of 3.0.10 and 3.0.11 wallets which received the later orphaned block before the block of the main chain, continued to stake the fork.

We informed the exchanges and to our knowledge they have always been on the main chain.

Please update your node to 3.0.12 as soon as possible. The wallet will check if you are on the main chain and if not abort with a corresponding message.

We are truly sorry for this inconvenience.

Using the bootstrap method saves you hours if not days in syncing time.

The boot strap is the way to go especially for those with slower net connections.

For everyones' convenience...here's How to use the Spectrecoin bootstrap

And now you can stake Spectrecoin in other ways....
Members in the Spectrecoin discord can place smaller amounts in their Panda-Bot wallet and move the amount to the bot pool.

And people outside US that use the citex exchange can stake there!  https://citex.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/360029350012

NEW EXCHANGE

Txbit.io: https://txbit.io/Trade/XSPEC/BTC (anon SPECTRE in/out + trade)

This exchange is a NO-KYC exchange and you only need an e-mail to trade SPECTRE.

Please have a quick look at the link below for some more info:

https://news.spectreproject.io/spectre-at-txbit-io/

Also, if you are unfamiliar with the Spectrecoin dual-coin system please have a look at the white-paper (pages 14-15):

https://spectreproject.io/Spectrecoin_White-Paper.pdf

In this day and age with increasing surveillance and KYC procedures, we encourage everyone to support these rare exchanges so we can continue to trade in private in the future.

I was pushing for this to happen. Now that it has happened, I congratulate the Spectre developers and marketers for getting SpectreCoin listed there on the best NO KYC EXCHANGE for cryptos.

Thanks a million !!!
