I remember that about a year ago a developer left you and created his own fork. I am not confusing anything? They promised to carry out an airdrop and distribute a new coin in a ratio of 1 to 1 of the Spectrecoin coin balance. How are things going with this?

Hmm I think you're confusing quite a few things here. The only thing that ever forked from Spectrecoin was "Wisp" (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5039051.0) which I supported back in the days. But we simply didn't follow the hardfork that was done by the main network, so it was a classical forking scenario, not a new chain. That was two years ago, not one. It never got much traction and is basically dead nowadays.

There are no other forks from Spectrecoin as far as I am aware of.

I am excited because at Spectrecoin we are in the days preparatory to the great relaunch of the project with its re-branding.

I can anticipate that there is already a commitment for the end of the third quarter of this year.  

There are so many favorable changes that they no longer fit under the same name. IMO.

Sometimes we talk about injustices but always from the point of view of technology.
For example of the PoW system (With a majority of the Left) and PoS (With a majority of the right).

The Spectrecoin Stealth-Staking system is just great, but most people don't know it exists.
Right now there are many companies that work for governments and hackers in general,
tracing peaple unsuspecting that have "money" in addresses of cyptocurrencies and do not know that they are very exposed to public view.
That is why I insist, people must know the solution that only Spectrecoin offers them to keep their "money" earning interest with staking out of the sight of strangers.

Today I am simply announcing the ALIAS birth.  
For those of us who have followed the Spectrecoin project for a long time, this name and image change represents a major step in the right direction.
Spectrecoin.io was born from the hand of Spectre.cash and after years, something unexpected happened, and it returned to the .cash domino.
