I believe that every choices have risk you have to take. You don't need to be afraid, you can't avoid any risk, because it follows decision you choose. By taking risk, you would probably fail, you would probably couldn't achieve what you expected. But, from this bad things, we have to learn and raise up again, we'll get experience that we learn to improve and develop. So, you don't have to be afraid, it's natural. This is just like asking stock market investor or maybe a forex trader why they are taking risk investing in those while they know that there are heavy risk involved.
