Hey molecular, is it totally impossible for me now to get the coins of 2nd phase which I missed ?
Good luck, g
I have no idea. I'm not involved in running anything airdrop-related. I would assume, though, that airdrops 1 and 2 are over now and no more coins can be claimed from them. All right. I´m seriously happy with my 636 AUR anyway. This is gonna run for four months, right ? Yes, according to the airdrop blueprint.

The AUR price action on Cryptsy feels like coins are being dumped in quantity. Not that I'm opposed to picking up some cheap coins, but I wonder if more are being claimed than we think.

I'm thinking that the volume would rather indicate that someone was expecting the price to drop because of the airdrop and wanted to sell before the price went down. The volume is much higher than what has been claimed in this phase of the airdrop and the time when the majority of the coins were sold is between 6-8:00 in the morning here, which would make it very unlikely that it was someone from here selling.

I might be wrong, but according to the airdrop count and timing, the dumped coins are a market manipulation. Clearly he or they love numbers and painting candles, with too much precision. They should read Pierre-Joseph Proudhon and ask themselves: What Is Property?

What about a little planning Gents? I mean, I like the idea of a new fresh start and all, but it all seems a little to much fluffy to me.
As many of you know I have been a firm and persistent supporter of Auroracoin from the start. Some of us have been keeping at it for the past couple of months, but nowhere we have seen any participation from anyone involved in the new group that is trying to take over from Baldur.
If you don't want to make the same mistake of misplanning all over again, it might just be the last serious chance for this magnificent project going to waste.
So I would seriously suggest to get back to the original forum and put together a group of serious supporters that are willing and able to act upon necessary things.
It worries me that even the current dev's are doing guess work as to why nobody is claiming the 3rd phase airdrop, while the clock is ticking away. If we want adoption of AUR in Iceland (which imho is the main goal of this project), we should be (and have been) very busy planning and acting local marketing!
I'm still up for it, but we need local participants badly! So where are the Icelandic friends we need?
And oh yeah, we do need some statement from Baldur as well!!!

I totally agree with you. The website is abandoned and it's forum hacked for months. Nobody knows exactly where this ship is sailing. But there is hope.

don't you think without more PR (for which likely nobody has the financials) all people who knew about the airdrop and wanted to claim already have? Why is it so hard to accept the airdrop was a) too big and b) too long? I would recommend not to drag this shit out more months to not let it fail entirely. Close the darn leak as quick as possible so we can sail! Can you spell attrition?! Once you got a rising price everyone will be much more enthusiastic. Right now this is the worst coin of all. Trash the leftover coins so we can repair this wreck. This has been long enough. Thank you for considering! Your logic is entirely broken too! Instead of giving out more coins because it has become worthless you give out less coins so it can appreciate in value! If you cut down the airdrop to a generous faucet of 5 coins per icelander this can go to any hight again. Why do you insist on keep this down with the shitcoins? CUT THESE FREE COINS DOWN DRASTICALLY! You can keep the airdrop open literally forever if you just reduce the number of coins! How dumb are these people? Where is the difference if a coin is worth 1 cent and you give 300 away or the coin is worth 10 dollars and you give 5 away? Huh?! I need to facepalm each time i read this thread, really. The airdrop planning and management was done by economic amateurs or some communists, that's for certain. *FACEPALM!!!!*

They spend moist of their time building strange things like data centers and singing in rock bands. They don't appreciate enough the bitcoin. They crush without mercy, lovely shiny bitcoins with this monstrously invented airdrop. I guess they find the idea under a sacred stone troll. Just because of this I've missed the Virgin Galactic rocket, so I'm here. What a waste of time and economic knowledge…

who comes late gets less. Otherwise this whole shit goes into the toilet. What's unfair about that? Nothing! Now cut that shit off immediately and burn the rest! DO IT NOW!
Nobody - and i mean NOBODY is interested in buying, holding, claiming, mining or supporting a worthless and leaking coin. Think people, think!

From the begining the plan for this coin was clear in my mind:Get 10.5 million AUR into the hands of the icelandic people. Im sorry if you invested early when a low % of the coins was out and the price, set by speculators, was way to high. But this is no reason to shit all ower the coin.

But this is no reason to shit all ower the coin. i did not invest early (bought in first time very close to where we are now). So my losses are minimal. If you insist to pull through with the airdrop i might aswell sell though because it's hopeless then. The numbers of coins are not important. The distribution is and that is fucked up already. There's probably 3 to 10 people holding 50% or more now because you let it drop and dump for so long. Just sayin'. The economic logic in this project was flawed badly. Very amateur. This coin was very bad PR for crypto. You're about to put the last nail into the coffin with insisting on getting all coins distributed. Are you claiming them yourself or what's the deal? Go ahead. Give out all the coins over the next 1 year to actually the same people (since only a small group is even claiming anymore - fill them up with worthless crapcoins!) and nobody will benefit from it. *FACEPALM you idiots* This is such an amateur-job i can barely breath.

get it off the ground now or be called out forever for selling it all to the whales. It will be useless if it dumps more. It is already too far gone to ever be adopted as real currency. The cheaper it gets the more centralised and concentrated in fewer hands the distribution will be. Are you new to coins or what? That's what commenly happens with worthless shitcoins that still have pump and dump value: the whale swallows them all up patiently for as long as it takes and controls that market then (i can prove and back this clame up with dozens of coins - there is no other outcome). They buy 80% or 90% of the coin if you sell it to them. They'll be happy to control 99% of supply. Dump it more, morons!
Fucking communist idiots
Make it so cheap even i as a small fish could afford to buy a considerable marketshare in this trash. Think about that. For 6500$ (as much as an educated adult earns a month in a job) you can get 10% of that currency you want to give the icelanders later. ARE YOU FUCKING RETARDED?!
STOP THE AIRDROP IMMEDIATELY! AND DON'T GIVE ME YOUR BULLSHIT ABOUT ALL COINS NEED TO BE DISTRIBUTED! TO WHOM!?!?! WHO CLAIMS THEM?! Get off my sack.
Amateur douche communists

someone else does. I'm just trading in the shadow of the smart money while you dream of pink unicorns. Guys. I don't think we really need to be arguing here. We all have the right to our opinions. No one who is active on this board has any power to change the airdrop anyway so no reason to argue about it. What we can do on the other hand is try to work on building a foundation for this coin. We can all agree on that, yes?

350$ invested is enough now to aquire a position that is sufficient to move the market, break trends, cause selloffs and so on later. 350$ invested is enough to gain decent control of this market for a good trader. That's a little cheap for a wannabe national currency. 350$ can be earned in 4 days with a job at Mc Donalds. That's how far gone this shit is. (talking 0,5% of supply) About the drop: i assume someone controls that and if this is not a total scam that coward who is hiding should be reading this. But likely it's a scam i think from day one. I think you stoned hippies need someone to get off. You're not getting it otherwise.

Later when the exchange is finished we will have a completely different market though. The real value of the coin will be seen then. Of course I'm not saying that launching a market by it self is enough. There would need to be some active advertising and education for this coin and just cryptos in general happening as well. That should be the main focus of the auroracoin dev group. close to 20.000 addresses still have their coins from the original airdrop. That means that it would not be so difficult to get those people active given the opportunity to buy, sell and use the coin here in Iceland. When the exchange is ready we are likely to see much less if any leak of auroracoin from Iceland and have the ability to get people here involved. You seem to have strong opinions and experience with cryptocurrencies and clearly an intelligent man. I would love for your constructive advice and discussion on these matters. Lets not go down to the level of calling people idiots. Yes?
