20.000 people claimed? In your dreams. 10.000 of those is balduro himself very likely. Why else would he be hiding? Why else would the drop not be cut down? I don't have any other explanation for this whole situation.
I would strongly recommend to icelanders to not invest any money in this since it is a totally shady shitcoin by now. Trying to get this adopted by icelanders is even unethical.

This is nothing but pump and dump, believe me swetheart.

I already gave constructive advice on this thread again and again. If you look back in the thread i say this for months now.

Constuctive advice:
Stop the airdrop immediately. Today.
Then burn 90% of the remaining coins and continue to airdrop 5 coins per citizen for the next 1 to 3 years.
That airdrop amount will still be a burden on the market but not at this marketcap. With that reduced airdrop aur can hold multi million dollar cap.

Well I live in Iceland and I'm fairly sure that this claimrate is correct. We had a lot of discussion and media coverage on Auroracoin at the time of the initial airdrop.

it would be real sad if this was really adopted this good and really distributed that well and then allowed to be taken over by a small group of big investors (the deep sea whales, your buysupport)

This low marketcap is very unconstructive for the future market. Very unhealthy. It will be highly manipulated and pretty volatile later because you were feeding the rich dudes the coins literally for free in massive amounts. You're all going to get robbed by this market.

Wow. Guess you need to go all in with your $6.500 and show the communists how capitalism works.

350$ invested is enough now to aquire a position that is sufficient to move the market, break trends, cause selloffs and so on later. 350$ invested is enough to gain decent control of this market for a good trader.

Later when the exchange is finished we will have a completely different market though. The real value of the coin will be seen then.

Of course I'm not saying that launching a market by it self is enough. There would need to be some active advertising and education for this coin and just cryptos in general happening as well. That should be the main focus of the auroracoin dev group. close to 20.000 addresses still have their coins from the original airdrop. That means that it would not be so difficult to get those people active given the opportunity to buy, sell and use the coin here in Iceland. When the exchange is ready we are likely to see much less if any leak of auroracoin from Iceland and have the ability to get people here involved.

You seem to have strong opinions and experience with cryptocurrencies and clearly an intelligent man. I would love for your constructive advice and discussion on these matters. Lets not go down to the level of calling people idiots. Yes? Smiley

Hi Skarfur, can you explain to me why you would discuss and argue with someone clearly in this only for personal short term profit, while others (like myself) have been going out of their way to support and offer help on the long term haven't even been shortly addressed? i'm slowly starting to lose interest this way, sorry...

it's ok. Keep pretending everything would be fine and the coin would be good for massadoption after being below 100k marketcap for a considerable amount of time.
I'm done here.

"why you would discuss and argue with someone clearly in this only for personal short term profit"

i hate to interrupt but what gustav describes there how markets get cornered is congruent with my experience too. (even if he is a bit rude, but his points are valid)
I think he is right with his estimate this will be very volatile later.
Not good as a currency but certainly fun to play the swings Wink

I do not mind more cheap coins since i too would love to aquire 1% or 2% of this market for these cheap prices, ideally cheaper Smiley . If you think this would be adopted widely that would certainly set me up for a good life. Keep airdropping the shit out of us. I don't mind it.

Sorry about that LTEX. I've just had a limited time here the last couple of days and to answer you clearly needed and deserved a bigger reply.

looking at the chain. It looks like this:

are they really claiming the coins this fast or is this not a scam? I can't believe the rate the airdrop is claimed. It's pretty fast. I doubt it is everything sweet here. Who controls the airdrop? I mean: who makes sure this is going down correctly? Nobody, right? This looks like an epic, epic scam to me with apperently nobody in charge.

looks like airdrop is 636 coins or something is very fishy here. Very large amounts of coins moving. Has to be the premine. If it is that it's 636 coins airdrop. Don't tell me it aint so. There's millions of coins moving around.
So Balduro tries to scam a whole country? Is that correct? Would explain a lot.

watch here latest blocks:

https://chainz.cryptoid.info/aur

wow

is this coin on its way to become one of the biggest scams of this decade? Where is that Balduro hiding?

To monitor the airdrop claim statistics you can take a look at this http://blockexplorer.auroracoin.eu/. So far there are 364 people who have claimed the coins in phase 3 of the airdrop.

i am looking directly at the transactions as they happen. 636 are given out.

dozens last hour. Hundreds probably today

look at this block last hour. 4 million coin in it.
https://chainz.cryptoid.info/aur/block.dws?75919.htm

what's that shit? Explanation please?

one reoccuring number in all these blocks is 636 so i assume that's the airdrop amount. Don't give me bullshit because it won't do.

this block 13 times 636 in a single block
https://chainz.cryptoid.info/aur/block.dws?75888.htm

since when is your little 'phase 3' running? Today? Yesterday? And how do you know about phases of the drop when nobody is in charge apparently?

You're trying to play hide and seek here with a whole nation?

Where is the accounability for the airdrop? Where does one get questions answered about it? You think you can fool people like that?

saying it is important all coins get distributed is the most rotten and hypocrite bullshit i have heard in a long time.

Hi!
Please add my pool in OP http://aikapool.com/aur

P.S. Almost all pools non-working! I ask to clean the list for miners!

We are working on getting access to edit this thread. If we do the OP will be updated or we will create a new thread for this coin.

yes, shenangians. 636 coins and nobody apparently can control if this is legit. Baldor can claim them himself we would never know. The lack of transparency and accountability for this is shocking. This is an potentially epic scam in the making.

636 dropped. Ok. Sweet. This coin will go much lower. Wooho. BIG, BIG, BIG show.
People are going to get roasted by this coin. Like into the butt with no lube.

So where is your accounatability here? Who accounts for this airdrop? Serious question now.

how much longer? 4 months at this rate?
what a scam!

this is by far the biggest scam i have seen in coins so far.

no accountability. Mr. Balduo is hiding away because he knows darn well he will go to prison if they get him.

this coin is the mother of all scams imo.
