I think there's something important missing from the intro blurb for people who don't let videos auto-play:  The idea that just by participating in Riecoin, users contribute in a small way to a mathematical dataset, and that this is really the feature that distinguishes it from Bitcoin.  Perhaps you could say:

It is a fork of the Bitcoin project, with a key difference:  Riecoin aims to create an interesting dataset as a useful byproduct of its operation.  Just by participating in Riecoin, you will be contributing to a dataset of dense prime clusters that may someday yield mathematical insights.

Depends on where you are sending the RIC from. If you are using your qt client, then click on Transactions inside the Qt client and double click on the transaction and you will see details including your tx id. If you are sending it from an exchange like Poloniex, go to Balances and scroll all the way to the bottom where you see withdrawals and you will see a long string under "Status" column. The tx id is shown there.

Quick Update:

At this time, the Riecoin Foundation is setting up and seeing what kind of budget we are working with. A few members are working outside of the foundation on several projects such as a block explorer and faucets for Riecoin. They are developing this for free. Thanks go out to them.

Right now, we have 810 RIC in our address which come out to less than $50 at current market price. We'd like to raise at leas $1000 so we can do some serious promoting with Riecoin. We have a small team of experienced marketers that needs $300 left to them to do promotional work.

If everyone on here donates 10 RIC, I am sure we can meet this goal before Monday. Riecoin are nothing without its member and we need you guys now more than ever.

You can withdraw it using normal methods that you use  to withdraw funds from your exchange wallet into your qt client.
