Riecoin and Huntercoin to rule all!

Do we have an expected time for when this would be implemented Gatra? Hi riecoin community, what service/services do you think this coin needs to make it more valuable?
the more the merrier! The most important service would be more pools. Then it could be online wallets, payment processors, blockchains with api like blockchain.info.... We still have no open source xpt pool or proxy? I believe Gatra is still working on it. Unsuprisingly, it is difficult to do that. Fortunately, he says that he now has a team of developer I believe? Many months ago I setup a high uptime distributed pool infrastructure because we were expecting that piece. I don't see how the lack of pools problem will be resolved without it. Oh well. If it ever gets built we'll turn that pool on.

almost there! my b15 miner updated for stratum is finding shares and verifying them locally, but it doesn't sumbit them to the pool yet. That's the last packet of the stratum protocol that's left to implement. I'll work on it today and, working or not, will upload to github later so others can look at it (bsunau7 offered to help). thanks for the patience, again....

Thanks for being dependable and sorry I am not able to help a lot. I hope others can be involved with development of Riecoin too. I've reached out to fairglu to implement an API call on his explorer so I can use it to get raw script calls for the android wallet and the web wallet (turns out that was what I was missing according to my sources).

Thanks! A lot of variance in thread 3, were you thermally limited or doing something else on the stick? Everything I've read says that an a15 is significantly better than an a9 based processor for this workload. Your thread 0 is 50% of my performance with a 15-30% faster clock sort of proves this. I am getting a banana pi (dual a9 core) in a few days, I'll test out compile options on it before it gets used for motor control. And for anyone who cares, improving GMP performance isn't easy :-/ Regards, -- bsunau7

You seem to be running at ~half the rate as the a15 core. I've a version which is ~7-10% quicker(removed a bunch of memory access in sieve2). I am in the process of moving from 32-bit to 34-bit nonce (4 times the search space) and from pn19 to pn23. Once I get that done I might compile an a9 version, but I don't hold much hope on GCC knowing much about the differences. I am looking at those RK3288 set top boxes for ~$79USD, curious how they fare... Also looks like a few people have put a floor under RIC on poloniex, seems to have held and pushed the price up some what. Regards, -- bsunau7

Sent some details to northranger about the new explorer APIs to get unspent vouts for a set of addresses, and get a summary of balances and last transactions for a set of addresses. They are loosely inspired from "unspent" & "multiaddr" APIs from blockchain & dogechain, basically they are http://chainz.cryptoid.info/ric/api.dws?q=unspent&active=address1|address2|... http://chainz.cryptoid.info/ric/api.dws?q=multiaddr&active=address1|address2|... Consider them "beta", subject to changes and for review/testing only. I'll probably add some API key requirement later on, and probably tweak them for CDN-friendliness, so while you can use it for testing, don't release anything based on them just yet

hi gatra, any updates? It's working! I just got it working with the stratum server already published some time ago. I'll clean the code a little bit and upload to github tomorrow. Also the miner is based on dga's b15, and just like dga's b15, I made it work on linux but not on windows. I'll try to debug that and if I can't find the problem I'll just make a stratum version of b14 (that should be easy now).

I was hoping to push out a new ARM binary, but have been running in circles looking for a problem which probably isn't mine. Testnet at a difficulty of 304 can only support a 39bit nonce which is making allowing me to make a mess of things.
A new version in which each thread searches 2^34 candidates. This also moves from a static pn19 to a pn23 sieve and is a little more efficient with memory access, these should bring ~10% overall gain (or more if your memory is slow). Unfortunately performance gains aren't keeping up with the decrease in value so I am no closer to being break even on power. Also, the pn23 can take a minute or two to generate (which is annoying to me). So on the first run it'll write the sieve into a file called 'pn23.bin'. Once the file has been created subsequent executions will use it. It is safe to delete if you want. Link is https://mega.co.nz/#F!6Y8ywRoZ!5ogMJEc2Teq5ckt9WClNpgRegards, -- bsunau7
