Everyone loses money when the market is down right?

If you have not yet sold your coins, you have not yet lost, there is always a chance that the market will turn in your direction, but if you are desperate and sold the coin at a reduced price, then everything, you have a loss.

My friends also always told me about that. That is why i like trading more than gambling. Even sometime i play gambling games, trading make it different because i am not lose my assets if i am not cut loss it yet.

if you don't sell it faster then you will suffer greater losses? which one do you choose? in my opinion not all coins you buy can experience recover when the trend changes and prices rise. so you have to be really aware, have to hold or sell. because that will determine the amount of loss that you will suffer

For me only panic sellers are getting lose but those who are holding with patience will never suffer lose, when in market new investors get in it makes the price higher because they buy and hold so market recover faster this way, so if the market is down we will have to keep patience and never think about selling it.

The truth is some people lose and some gain I mean you are selling and buying So when you buy from a seller at a higher price and then it goes down you decide to sell while losing then one gains and you lose and the market continue to move that way with volumes of trades from different exchanges

If you try and trade in the same way in a bear market as in a bull market then you will lose money. You have to adapt your strategy to the market you are in. For bear markets that often means shorting or just selling and buying back later.

Perfectly right supposedly depends on the traders overview how to make money either in the time of hype or in the time of bear market.
But many people lose huges because of fast downfall of price from the history of 2017 bullrun people didn't expect the continuesly down grade the price, but in the help,of their skills and knowledge some are slowly recover their loses during bear market they use marginalized to earn profits.

No I Don't Think That Everyone Loses Money When Tha Market Is Down. There Are Two options here When Market Go Down Then we Buy usd and markets go up then we buy anather cryptocurrency. only those who are optimistic will not lose money. when prices fall like this most people start to despair and hope for a ride is gone so they lose their money. yes this is the world of cryptocurrency where people who are patient and optimistic will produce while careless and pessimistic people will lose.

I don't think that every people loses their money. because expert traders most of time earn their profit. but when market goes down people like us who have no such a good idea about trading most of time we lose. for us trading is just a earning source but for them it's much more that.

Trading can only help you earn a small profit in the short term but when the market starts to turn red, the loss may be much higher than the money you have earned. I think the top traders always have a big loss and anyone who joins this market is responsible for their investment. I have been very successful in trading in 2017 but 2018 and 2019 are two disastrous years for me because making a profit is really difficult in the bear market.

Actually, holders do not lose anything, as their Dash, Monero, Litecoin, etc remain the same cryptocurrencies if the market grows or falls. Only those, who invest in shitcoins, lose always.

So with how much bitcoin and all the altcoins are down, is it even possible for any trader to make any money?  Example let say this.  You buy btc at a very low price due to these dips.  Now you could either keep btc or buy altcoins with it.  Now the market goes down every single day.  First off, does anyone know if btc or any altcoins ever have a day where the prices drop every single hour?  Or is that impossible?


Anyways, with how much all the coins are dropping, is it even possible for any trader to make money on days or weeks like this?  Im thinking its only possible if they make sure they sell it at the right hour and minute etc in order to profit.  But of course if they are down almost all day, how is it even possible for anyone to make any money?  Sure when the market goes back up in a while, and the price gets higher than they bought it at and now they sell, the profit.  However, the same ppl who hold the coins will profit as well.


Because doesn't it seem like there is no skill involved at all it seems?  Because if the market is down for a long time, what percentage of traders are even making any money when the market is down?  Of course if you got a coin at like 10 cents a long time ago and then it went to 5 dollars... and now because of this.. its now down to say 1 dollar, well you are still up money if you sell it now.  But the same ppl who got this coin probably got it at over 3 dollars and lost a huge percentage of its value.


So is it true almost everyone loses money when the market is down?  And almost everyone makes money when the market is up?  Because if btc goes up, the alts follow.  BTC drops, everything follows.  Its like there is zero skill at all almost.   Such that yes when it goes up, some altcoins might go up higher than others.  Also why do certain very good altcoins drop when btc drop if that project is very good etc?  Yes i know you need btc to get that coin and vice versa but its like its either everyone wins or everyone loses.


So right now market is down a lot especially for those who bought not that long ago.  So where is the skill here?  Its basically when to sell and when to buy right?  However, when market is down like this, who is damn making any money?  Because isn't almost everyone losing money?  The only ppl that i could see that likes this huge dip are those that have usd/usdt ready and picking when to buy.  Of course they could have waited till btc was 8k and thought great i buy now or buy alts and each of these already lost a lot already.


Who is making any money now when the market is down?  The ppl who are selling?  Surely not since the price they sell now is much less than before.  Also just curious but does this apply to stocks and forex trading as well?  I know that well stock market goes up, doesn't almost all the stocks all go up it seems?  The same can be said of forex or am i wrong here?  I only know forex is money trading with different currencies etc.  Because when you look at other things like poker or sportsbetting... someone is winning and someone is losing.  Also to anyone that bets sports or knows about sports, you might hear how all the wise guys are losing money.  Wise guys are sophisticated sharp bettors that are much smarter than your average joe.   That average joe most likely bets very square picks... meaning like obvious public teams etc.  However, the thing is the public does win.  And when they do that, sportsbook would lose money.  But usually they get it back and the average joe loses it back betting very public plays and the sophisticated bettors aka sharps win again.  However, i heard of sharps having really bad seasons etc.



So based on that, doesn't it seem like crypto trading is basically everyone wins or everyone loses?  Because in sportsbetting, yes the house does win and they house could also have a losing streak.  But eventually they win back the average joes money.  But if the average joe gets lucky and goes on a huge run whether betting favorites or underdogs or whatnot, its possible for him to win for a long time or lose for a long time.  Also let say you have a few players who are sharp sportsbettors and a few average joes.  Well if the sharp guys are winning, most likely the average joes are losing.  If the sharp guys are losing, average joes are most likely winning.  I say this because they usually play opposite plays most of the time.  But no matter what, someone has to win.  Whether its the sportsbook or the bettor.  Also in sportsbetting, there is something called live betting where its like trading.  Basically you can bet on either side while the game is going on when odds change always etc.  But when you live bet, if one player bets this team while another player bets another team... remember each of these players are betting against the sportsbook, one player will win... the other loses.  Thus that is where the skill comes in.  So does anyone here feel like the market dictating winning or losing is just stupid?  I mean if market is down, who is making any money?  Its like ppl say when there is a bull market, everyone thinks they are a genius.  Well if its a bull market, the only thing you have to think about is okay i will buy btc but should i exchange it for altcoin or not and which one.



Anyone here have thoughts or opinions on this?  I got excited about cryptocurrency and trading and wanted to do it.  But now when i look at it, its basically look at the market.  There doesn't seem to be any skill in it.  Can anyone here correct me with any of my statements especially if i made any especially in sportsbetting?  Thanks.

when the market is not so good hold on don't sell your investment because if you said definitely you can get the last only for investment because in the previous time for investment will be more higher than the today's value that's why you got the last but the market is developing little by little if you wait for very short time then you can definitely get the profit for you.

Actually what i compared about gambling and trading is in trading we still have chance to minimize our losses. At least it is not 100% loss like in gambling. That  is why i talk to prefer trading than do gambling even i play it too.

For me both are good if we are good at gambling we can gamble and if we are good at trading we should trade, but in case of low price in market I think it is good to hold only specially if you are a trader, it is good to continue trading when market again recovers but if the price is down and things are not in our favor like price and everything then don’t trade and wait for right time, there will be 100 profit but no lose.

Nope until the coins is in our hand in my opinion theres nothing to worry but then again always remember cryptocurrency volatile movement if ever bear market comes we need to be patience and for anothwr price rebond months or years. The is we how to avoid loses in crypto.

Not everyone losses their money when the market is down dude. Why? it is because that there a short term and long term holders right?
The only trader who loss their coins/money is the one who didn't control their emotion, I guess. This was commonly happened in the actual trade.

Losses money when the market is down, I think it was just a normal things happen. Also not everybody(traders) here are losing their coins, because there are some long term holders and short term holders always remember that. And you can loss coins if you will become neglectful

Long term holders are the only ones who survive the bear market. Many people do not have power to hold for long term and others just get panic to see the price crash and beginning to think it will be the end, so they panic sell and lose.  Think of those who had not sell bitcoins when it dump from 6000$ to 3000$ and now it is back to 7000$ +. This is the power of holding in cryptocurrency.

Right, i do both of it. Even not really good, i still learn how to trade well and still learn how to pick right coin to buy. But price of bitcoin now really make any change to traders because they will back to trade again for sure.

Of course it is very important to have the idea about good coin and to know which is the best way to trade with your coin profitably I know there are so many way to trade but try to learn it well and never give up on learning as the more you will learn the more you will have idea about it, i can see your future will be bright if you never stop learning and trading.

In down market the price movement exists too that become the reason traders also make profit here but it seems tough as compared slightly high prices. In the down market of Bitcoin the price when turned from 5800 US dollars to 6677 US dollars traders are activated by such price increase.
