Long time holding, is it a smart thing to do?

It is always a question, what you want to hold for long time. If it is a valuable coin, with good potencial, than sure, it is a smart thing.

Ahm I think yes, hodling a coins is a wise thing to do to be sure that you can earn profit, but not all coins applicable for that, if you hodl coins make sure it has a great potential and also valuable like he said, a coin that has a bright future so that in how many years pass by you can earn profit.

Yes, maybe you are right, I want to add, do not you hold your assets for a long time without you having predictions, if you hold without predictions you can lose everything you have. so my advice is resistant and predictive

It will depends on what coin you are holding. For a very well known coin such bitcoin or ethereum, it will be a good and smart thing to do.
But for some altcoins, you will need to buy them at the low price, and sell them when the value increase to take a safe way gaining profit.

I don't think Long time holding is smart decision now a days. we have seen drastic change in price in a single day.
It is better to set value for ourself  and sell if price is reached your target price.
For example -- if you buy ETH at 255 USD and decide to sell at 400 USD . it may reached 400 USD in a week or month.

Yes, all bounty participants definitely expect the token to have a value like ico. I as a participant did not want to make the price of the tokens I got decreased. it's better to wait and let the weak bounty participants sell their tokens.

in my understanding, holding a few coins long is a smart thing to do. because if we are rash in taking action to sell coins when prices are cheap then we will get a loss. therefore it is better to hold it for a long time, but once the price goes up, it is sold.

Actually holding is a smart thing to do but not for the everytime. In these 9 months, From December to august, Hodlers are losing their capital, almost 70% decreased already! I don't think it is a smart thing when you can convert your Coins to USDT or You can trade to make your money bigger!

In my opinion, it depends on the coin you are holding and the period you can afford to hold for. For example, it is wise to hold Bitcoin and Ethereum until 2020 in case you don't have trading experience, because their way is only up if you zoomed out the price chart, while holding a big part of altcoins is considered gambling.

I think that now is the best time, since most of the currency is just gaining momentum and therefore increases its value, but, most importantly, looks at which currency.....
