Why not CharityCoin? and donations could be given to newly chosen charities every so often.

We thought about that at first but we wanted to focus on Cancer because we understand how deadly it is and all of us involved on this project, have lost a friend or a family member due to it. The Reality is  there are many issues throughout the world and one Coin would not be sufficient to make a substantial financial  impact on all the existing charities.
We visioned that other Devs would try and make a difference by starting new Coins with the intent of helping many other charities like HIV, Diabetes, Homeless people, hurricanes and etc. I would love to see a influx of new serious Coins and less of the Pump and Dump we see released every day.
So our project may be a starting point where the community will create a transparent system for these coins in order to weed out any potential scam.

We visioned that other Devs would try and make a difference by starting new Coins with the intent of helping many other charities like HIV, Diabetes, Homeless people, hurricanes and etc.

Why start a new coin for purposes like that at all? Why dont you engage in a crypto cancer charity project and fundraise it by advertising und getting donation from the crypto community via already etablished coins ala bitcoins etc?

You would save the effort of creating a coin and redirect your ressource in your main goals which are stated by you "raising awareness, making donations, crypto advertising". Creating a charity project would be much more obvious on your goals than creating yet another coin and the efforts to raise it.

some people have compiled their own wallets. you can do it as well if you want but you wont be able to mine it.
Block explorer will prove, we are aware.
the poster referred to the giveaway I mentioned at the pre-annoucement. I owe him and another 50 people who will post their wallet addresses but they wont be paid until mining starts and CCCs are generated.
Trust us, this project in non profit and we ourselves donated a few thousand to make it happen. Your help would be appreciated as well. No money only a set of skills.

Official announcement!

Launch day has been changed to February 6 at 22:00 GMT. We will make sure all is in place before the launch. There will be changes to the name, designs, source code, wallets and block explorer will be ready.
The people has spoken and we appreciate all the support. Our apologies on jumping the gun but we thought the day was just too special for the launch.
Cheers

If planning for the launch lacks essential things like a wallet, how come you even announce today as launch day?

You seek the trust of the community and then we all spend a lot of time and in some cases also a lot of effort to prepare and then... Nothing.

I am not impressed.
