Apart from the scams that are sometimes seen the cryptocurrency market, another reason why bounties are extended is because of the long bearish market which has existed since this year.

Yes I agree they are having a hard time reaching even their soft cap, because investors now prefer to buy token when they hit the market, of course ICO is still profitable because of the bonus, but with recent price activity of ICO when it hit the market, people are having second thought investing in ICO.

yes I agree, ico is currently very widespread and very fast to develop with many new campaigns making ico more and more in circulation.

ICO is having struggles just to reach even a soft cap of their ICO sales. Plus this bear market which is one of the factor of not reaching a big amount of eth or btc. So no other choice extend the ICO and its bounty campaign for promotion. Most ICO are extending and not a big deal for me, well we have a bit pissed of about extension but we cant do anything

Yes, because many people have benefited from an IO so it makes people want to follow it and now there are a lot of ico that appears but very little that becomes an altcoin with high potential for investment.

Well I agree for extending bounty campaign or ICO if the market is crashing or did not reach soft cap, but if the market is stable and reached their soft cap and they want to extend, smell fishy that ICO.

It is good to extend the campaign if they didn't reached the exact amount of their target. Many of the campaign I participated almost do that and it is really good to make our investment grow much better than not extending the campaign and didn't reach the target cap. It also for the investors not only for the team developers reason.

I agree with this, but besides that there are many things that make several Ico projects extended, such as sales of tokens have not been reached. or because it is indeed a strategy of the team and DEV to complete their project when the market price increases again. because we all know that the price of altcoins in the market today is falling so they don't want to risk the price of their tokens will fall.

Investors are walking away from ICOs. I personally do not know anyone who still invests in ICO. Almost everyone but burned and the pockets are pretty empty. I think ICOs are on a freeze and it won't happen much until fresh money is coming into the market.

I agree with nadbucs that bounty campaigns are losing grounds and that is because many are exiting as scams and people are losing truth on these new ICO's. Due to this no one is investing in their projects and to collect their targeted money they keep extending their campaign. I think until we have a rigid check in place for these new ICO's, people need to be very careful in what they are investing and if their bounty tasks are actually worth.

This is only part of the story, the rest is probably because the influence of this market when altcoin fell too deep, that makes all activities of investors are suspended indefinitely, they can not continue investing when their money is not flowing. I think the main thing is they are can't achieving the soft-cap or hard-cap, so they are extending the bounty campaign for 4/5 weeks because to collect more founds. I think that is the main thing why bounties are extending. But I think good projects are never extending them bounty or ICO, So be careful. There are have a lot of scam projects and ICOs. So what are the main reasons why so many bounty campaigns are extending now? For me I think it have reasons but for me I guess the main reason is they did not succeed reaching their quota.
