Ethereum is better than Bitcoin?

Those who think that Ethereum is better are because they believe in technology more and believe in what they can see in front of them. People who believe in Bitcoin are because they see Bitcoin being widely used and highly recognized!

I think so because what I know today is that the price of Ethereum is declining and with so many people who love this coin because it has good growth and can be profitable in the future because Ethereum and bitcoin are equally good and can be profitable in the future

basically ethereum and bitcoin have their respective advantages and disadvantages,
but people prefer to use ethereum to buy or invest in ico and use bitcoin as a long-term investment,
lately many investors are using etehereum as a long-term investment, because the value of ethereum is relatively stable in the market,

I don't think so in terms of the future dominance because bitcoin already got reputed and wherein is still a coin which is required for the tokens if there is no token created based on wherein then we may the fall of etharkum.

Here we go again comparing bitcoin to ethereum which really should not be compared at the first place since both have different purpose and uses. Bitcoin focuses on peer to peer payment system while ethereum is a platform that focuses on smart contracts that creates new cryptocurrency that will use its blockchain. Can we just appreciate this both technology and not compare which one is the best?

I don't know why people think Ethereum will become more popular than Bitcoin in future bitcoin was 1st crypto currencies and is most popular among people so I don't think bitcoin will ever loose is position.

I am sure that someday bitcoin will be replaced by ETH, this is because usage and volume of ETH transactions continue to increase rather than bitcoin so that the price of ETH continues to be expensive, and the main factor supporting is more than 100 tokens that use the ETH platform.

Recently Ethereum usage is increasing in Crypto market so many experts are expecting this will boom in next year. If you are simply thinking on price and how well known the crypto is Bitcoin wins hands down. I see Ethereum as the next step in Bitcoin, but it's still got a long way to go. Both are great. Personally I collect ETH because the price is much lower, so I can get more of it and hopefully it grows in value it will make me better off! I missed the bitcoin train!

Brian Kelly, the founder, and CEO of an investment firm focused on digital currencies BKCM LLC, believes that Ethereum will be a better investment than Bitcoin.
Brian Kelly, from his point of view, points out the following reasons:

👉1. Ethereum Futures Contracts
First, Kelly believes that Ethereal futures contracts or ETH Futures will soon be launched, as the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) has officially decided that the Ether is not a security. This action has removed the biggest obstacle for Ethereum – The 2nd ranked coin in market capitalization to institutional investment.
However, what Kelly does not mention is that launching the Future Ethereum could more likely to pull down the price of this second-largest cryptocurrency rather than help it.
Since the launch of the Bitcoin futures contract, Bitcoin’s price has plummeted and many blamed the use of investment tools to manipulate the market for this decline.

👉2. Augur
Secondly, Kelly pointed out that the Augur platform was one of the main reasons for Ethereum's rapid growth when compared to Bitcoin.
As described by the analyst, " It’s a decentralized prediction market. What’s interesting about this [is that] this will probably be one of the biggest decentralized apps on top of Ethereum. If [augur] doesn’t slow the system down, that can generally be a positive for Ethereum."

👉3. Proof-of-Stake Protocol
Finally, Ethereum's upgrade from hardware mining to software mining will drive the continued growth of the cryptocurrency.
Ethereum creator - Vitalik Buterin, also recently explained that Ethereum's scalability improvements to the layer solutions will multiply one to another - improving the number of users that the system can handle, which increase the processing capacity of up to 1 million transactions per second.
However, this refers to the fact that Bitcoin and Ethereum are not fully competitive. Upgrading the Ethereum platform is likely to serve more of a rivalry between competitors like EOS, while Bitcoin will remain its top position in transferring and storing value.

Etherium is good for investment and trading but if we say long term investment I'll prefer to bitcoin.But I would true to myself that Ethereum is very important in terms of gas transaction and on how we are going to trade our tokens.

I think Bitcoin will still lead the market, Bitcoin is a major coin and a major hunt for investors so the quality is unquestionable, Ethereum is also a good coin but to beat BTC I think it still takes a very long time.
