Ethereum is better than Bitcoin?

The question of which one is better is irrelevant since birth bitcoin and ethereum are suppose to be a decentralized system of payment,  smart contract and much more.  Bitcoin is totally different compare to Ethereum sincerely they are both targeting different market and uses!

MY view is bitcoin is the better than ethereum because bitcoin proved itself .People took lot of profit from bitcoin and trust in it more than any other coin and bitcoin has great potential.So it better than ethereum.

Ethereum is better than the Bitcoin only in terms of price. Otherwise , Bitcoin is the king of crypto currency and will be ever. But , next coin after Bitcoin is Ethereum.

like you said, Ethereum and Bitcoin has different targeting user, i think Ethereum Platform is focused for developer create their own DApps application and bitcoin i think this is universal cryptocurrency, like we know, many altcoin created with the different mission

Well everyone has their perspectives when it comes to which cryptocurrency is better than the other. As for me, i think Ethereum will become greater than Bitcoin someday.

👉1. Ethereum Futures Contracts
First, Kelly believes that Ethereal futures contracts or ETH Futures will soon be launched, as the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) has officially decided that the Ether is not a security. This action has removed the biggest obstacle for Ethereum – The 2nd ranked coin in market capitalization to institutional investment.
However, what Kelly does not mention is that launching the Future Ethereum could more likely to pull down the price of this second-largest cryptocurrency rather than help it.
Since the launch of the Bitcoin futures contract, Bitcoin’s price has plummeted and many blamed the use of investment tools to manipulate the market for this decline.

Secondly, Kelly pointed out that the Augur platform was one of the main reasons for Ethereum's rapid growth when compared to Bitcoin.
As described by the analyst, " It’s a decentralized prediction market. What’s interesting about this [is that] this will probably be one of the biggest decentralized apps on top of Ethereum. If [augur] doesn’t slow the system down, that can generally be a positive for Ethereum."

👉3. Proof-of-Stake Protocol
Finally, Ethereum's upgrade from hardware mining to software mining will drive the continued growth of the cryptocurrency.
Ethereum creator - Vitalik Buterin, also recently explained that Ethereum's scalability improvements to the layer solutions will multiply one to another - improving the number of users that the system can handle, which increase the processing capacity of up to 1 million transactions per second.
However, this refers to the fact that Bitcoin and Ethereum are not fully competitive. Upgrading the Ethereum platform is likely to serve more of a rivalry between competitors like EOS, while Bitcoin will remain its top position in transferring and storing value.

Bitcoin made a revolutoin, others(Ethereum, EOS, Litecoin, etc) just took idea of bitcoin and added some features. Other blockchains can be faster or more scalable, but  bitcoin will stay anyway number one, bitcoin doesn't need these features, it is just  instrument for accumulation like a gold.

I believe Ethereum is very better than Bitcoin, because it is constantly updated and haves more features. But Ethereum is not considered money, by its own creators, but a platform.
But Bitcoin is the first cryptocurrency, is the base price, and the referrence. So its hard to some coin to replace Bitcoin.
Btw, if you want to buy a bundle with both Bitcoin, Ethereum and others on this low value market, you can use Coin Bundle, that started very before CoinBase implemented its coin bundles. You don't need to make Bitcoin and Ethereum compete, but use each of  the features they provides. Bitcoin as money, and Ethereum as platform for decentralized apps and tokens?

It is really difficult to choose between these two coins. I think both of them are good enough and if you don't know which one to chose, go for both of them
