For me, YES since you really don't know if there team really exist and will do the upcoming development once they receive the money that invested by a lot of investors.

I think the best to detect is reading their Whitepapers and verify per word by words if they just copied it in another projects.

There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, which will follow the rules of the network no matter what miners do. Even if every miner decided to create 1000 bitcoins per block, full nodes would stick to the rules and reject those blocks.

It is really hard to detect scammed bounty campaign.  After completing all the requirements to be able to get accepted in a bounty campaign, spending much time to participate in forums and not to mention carrying their banners, completing all the tasks and reports then all of a sudden you will just find out that you have been scammed already.  luckily I am not the only one but to think all participants did the same efforts as well as you did.  But it is really happening, lesson learned and could be just charge it to experience and move on.  If we could only find out at early stage if we were in to scam or a legit bounty campaign.  Who would really know anyway?
If we initially knew that we would be left without remuneration, we would not have any disappointments. But without this in any way. You see for yourself, it is very difficult to determine a quality project that will not deceive the bounty hunters. Embarrassed

For me it's not hard to detect some scammed bounty campaigns Because we just need to read the whitepaper of the project and explore the outcome of it.
But in some cases, technical documentation can be forged so well that we will not notice anything. Now scammers have more and more traps for us.

No we can't know the scam project from the beginning we follow unless the manager is very active and looking for information whether the project they are handling is a scam project or not because the manager's involvement is also very important to minimize the worst possible projects they handle.

Others recommanded ico rating sites. Don't trust them, they're rigged as hell, you should do your own research

It is true that detecting the ico scam is indeed very difficult, it will be found after a few days or a fraud ico scam will be found after a few months later.
and we will know whether the project is paid. or just fraud

That is really true that it is really hard nowadays to detect whether a specific bounty campaign will turn out as legit and reliable one or a bogus and scam one but for you to avoid that kind of circumstances, you need be more observant and wiser especially in joining and participating bounty campaigns.

i believe most of the bounties that turn out to be scam do not do it intentionally , but when they do not  meet their soft cap during token sales, they suspend the project and bounties as well.

I used to have the mentality that the success of bounty campaigns depend on the status of the manager, but recently i have come to realize that when it comes to some scam bounties the BM is as helpless as the hunters.

Recently, i have seen bounties managed by bounty hive and other big BMs turning out to be failed projects and bounty suspended. so what i have decided to be doing now, is to only participate in bounties that have reached their soft cap. At least the tendency of running a successful campaign and paying hunter's rewards is high.

Well, today many fraudulent Bounty campaigns are designed like a potential Bounty, and if we do not have experience, we will not be able to detect them. That is the way they cheat others to take over our account.

I agree too many fraud projects nowadays it's so hard to distinguish them.

It was really unfortunate for us Bounty hunter to encounter those such project wasting the efforts and time we put on it. The baf thing is they keep growing so right now we really need to research more about the project we are going to promote.

But would you join if you knew you would not receive the bonus bounty from the bounty? I think not, people who invest in the ICO just like us, but they spend money, we put work for get token

for me, before I participated in the bounty campaign I chose to join a trusted bounty manager and I chose a project that followed a lot of blockchain forum or ico forums.

Yes, I agree with you, the Bounty campaign scam is more difficult to detect than ico scam, from which I only follow trusted bounty managers in my opinion, such as Sylon, Sergei, Amazix etc.

Yes, unfortunately, it is really very difficult to do, even though there is experience in this area, still people are being deceived and this cannot be avoided, a sad situation that requires a decision.

Now it is generally difficult to suspect something. So, as not all the truthful information is presented to us. In order for me to learn something you have to carefully study everything in its entirety. To learn the opinion of many, reviews, experience of others. This is definitely more help to recognize.

I don't think it's too hard to decide anymore. As Bounty Manager, you can easily understand who is responsible for the project, and if you look at the project a little bit, it will do little or no work.

This is really hard. And noone can guarantee that campaign that was carefully selected is not a scam Smiley
That's why bounty huntering can't be a regular job. Unfortunately.
