Some of the factors is the fear of losing money since cryptocurrency price are not stable and most still fear the ban by their countries since government has not officially declared it legal and accepted..
i also think that most people who are not investing are afraid of losing their money. i have personally experienced that in my own environment. but these people would never invest in stocks, gold or anything else. |

I think that there are other issues like technology or user friendliness. that's right. crypto currency price are fluctuation and it make people afraid to invest in crypto. they are thinking that crypto has a big risky and they can loss their money anytime. many people invest in crypto because they have the high expectation if they can get rich with it, they invest without have knowledge about that and when the price decrease they do panic selling and assume that crypto is scam. |

There are many factors due to which an individual is scared to invest in Bitcoin - volatility- The high volatility causes huge price fluctuations due to which people are scared in investing into BTC
- Legalisation- Bitcoin is not yet legalized in many countries which make people step back from investing into BTC
- Scams- Many people get scammed investing BTC into scam ICOs which has also become a factor now.
- fear- fear is a major factor why people don't invest in BTC. The fear of loss cannot be taken by many people.
- technology- many people are still unaware of how to use the Bitcoin and the blockchain technology which is why they have not yet invest into it.
There are so many factors that can we say scares you in investing mean reason that can affects or scare you most is scam that's why lots of people are very care enough on there invest and also there are some reason scares you some other things to consider are the recent scams from big names such as Bitconnect and Davorcoin. They were big companies and pulled off something big and its unfortunate that others got hurt in the process. |

i also think that most people who are not investing are afraid of losing their money. i have personally experienced that in my own environment. but these people would never invest in stocks, gold or anything else. This fear of losing money is such a general idea. Everyone in this topic is repeating it like it was some magic spell. People are always overreacting. They are afraid when the price goes down and spending money like idiots when it's going up. The main reason why people aren't investing is lack of education. Not many people know what Bitcoin is and even less spends time to think about its pros and cons. People care more about the type of burger they'll eat than finances and economy. |

when people don`t have a knowldege about a thing, they are very vulnerable to be manipulated and as media fuds it they listen to it and believe everything it is said such as it is a bubble. If they do their own research than things may change.

One of the factors that I observe when I try to introduce bitcoin to anyone is that they are afraid bitcoin is just a scam just like an investment scam or HYIP scam. Due to lack of education and understanding of what bitcoin is and the negative news they can always see reported by mainstream idea, there is already an assumption that bitcoin is bad and/or illegal. They are afraid that when they invest into it, they wouldn't be able to get back their money. The concept of cryptocurrency is new and it is just natural that some people are afraid of something they are not familiar with. Government policies related to cryptocurrency also greatly affect. Only one factoe scares me from investing into bitcoin and that is the coins, ico, tokens, cash that are new in the system and has a great mission that will soon maybe one of the greatest enemy of bitcoin in terms of number of users and price.

Guys, what are some other factors that scare people from investing into bitcoin?
Guess, it is just a matter of wrong perception on the true properties of bitcoin which scares them. After all, watching your bitcoin investment goes down is really frustrating, but, if you are aware of this periodical happenings, probably, you would not panic at all, because you know the fact that the price will not fall continuously. All you have to do is wait until the price recover. |

They are afraid of the bitcoin crisis right now that the market are crashing they think that market will not recover and aside from that lack of knowledge about crypto currency.And not only for that they are afraid also to being scam by others and they dont affort to lose.

FUD is our biggest problem. People who don't have enough knowledge repeat what they hear on TV or read on the Internet. People believe in what banks and governments say about cryptocurrencies and try to discourage others from buying them. People are too lazy, they would like to earn as much as possible without risking any of their money. That's obviously impossible but many desire that.

The high levels of uncertainty in this industry is one of the biggest underlying reasons as to why people are scared of investing in bitcoin. They can't trust an investment firm that couldn't even guarantee its security and status in the market. Another reason is lack of knowledge.
