Volatility is the main reason that scaring the investors whether they or old or new investor if they came here just to make money from the bitcoin.And the bubble story keep the rookie investors in panic conditions always when they are getting away from the bitcoin it will cause the price to fall more so causes the rapid price fall in the crypto prices.And other reason that many people who don't know what is the technology behind the bitcoin are think that the ponzi scheme so they keep telling the other new people not to invest on the bitcoin which scaring them.

As a matter of fact, anytime some people who know nothing about bitcoin are introduce to bitcoin about how bitcoin works, they channel all their attention to whoever is passing the information to them by listening attentively. However, after developing the interest in bitcoin, they quickly revert their interest in bitcoin the moment they hear of the volatile nature of bitcoin, thereby, deciding not to invest into it anymore. Guys, what are some other factors that scare people from investing into bitcoin?
horrible past experience might be another reasons some people are scared of investing in bitcoin. A guy saw me browsing crypto trading platform yesterday in a cafe. he came close to me and ask 'are people still investing in bitcoin?' i told him yes but he responded by saying he stop trading and investing in bitcoin because he lost his initial investment. another reasons I have discover is past experience with ponzi schemes that pay using crypto but later turn to scam. such people that fall victim will not even listen to you when you wanna talk about bitcoin to them not to talk about investing with their money. |

I believe the most common factors why people scares from investing is the market price volatility because the market can easily drops value without valid explanation and its very hard to predict its movement.

People do not scare from investing into bitcoin; they have heavily invested in it. But due to the negative; greedy role being played by the speculators and big whales; true investors feel fear investing in it. For their greed big speculators move the markets in the directions they what it to move. They earn huge profits and exit from the market when their interests are fulfilled.

Apart from volatility, there is a rather popular thought among newbies that bitcoin is a ponzi or a bubble that will explode (or already did). Bitcoin is obviously not a ponzi scheme, but the question about the bubble is more difficult. If people simply buy bitcoin, expecting it to grow in the future, the prices we see that in a way not representing reality. This leads to huge fluctuations even when minor bad news appear on the media. Another factor that is important for ordinary people is that bitcoin is not officially recognized and supported by the governments, so they don't feel like taking unnecessary risks. |

I think Trust issue is one of the main factor that people are scared of investing on bitcoin. Many do not trust bitcoin, they can not take this kind risks as its a very volatile rather they want to invest on actual gold or real estates which is more secured and sure profit investment.

Certainly, unconscious people are doing panic deals and people are showing them like a system mistake, others are constantly affected by the negative aspects of bitcoin. The first thing that needs to be done here is to understand the system with small numbers and then to get into the exact job.

Bitcoin is very secured in terms of the security but the price volatility is the biggest fear of the investors which keep think twice to invest or not before bitcoin.Because the price of bitcoin was around $20K before 6 months but it is now just at $6500 so people will get scared before investing into these kind of investment. |

There are so many factors that are affecting the investors to be scared to invest in bitcoin. The most influential factors are FUDs, Speculation and negative news. These are so vital to allow the market price more stable.

I agree, the most common factors that scare people in investing bitcoin is the unstable value of bitcoin which sometimes goes high and sometimes goes down which no one can predict its value and why it happens. |

When I talk with my friends, there are a few factors, really.
Some of them read some negative media news about bitcoin.
Other heard that many criminals using bitcoin for their criminal activities.
Also, recently central bank in my country warned people that crypto is rto risky investment.

Actually, there's a lot of factors why some people doesn't wanted to invest in bitcoin even knowing that it is very profitable and it could make a big help to them. The different factors are lack of knowledge about the system, very risky because of it's high volatility it has and knowing that there are a lot of scamming and illegal activities that are happened by the use of this system. People are really scared and hesitate to invest because of those factors. |

I think right now, the main thing scaring new investors away from Bitcoin is simply its volatility, and the downward trend it, and the other cryptocurrencies are following right now. Due to all the hype in 2017, people have the expectation that Bitcoin can make them rich, when the truth is that it isn't a get rich quick scheme anymore. We will need to rely on true progress in order to see the gains we once saw. Yes, Bitcoin still has massive potential, but we need to help this be recognized before we can really see just how far it can take us.

The factors you mentioned are the primary ones which is keeping people away from investing in bitcoin. From my personal experience too i have seen people who invested in bitcoin but because of the volatility and recent downtrend they got out of it and now not looking into getting back.
Some other reasons which i found was people are not yet confident about bitcoin they have a risk in mind that their money can possibly go to zero too as the news from different nations keeps coming about bitcoin ban
