@devs: Your Mac wallet can not be used as it completely misses dependencies. It was not deployed, it will only run on the machine you built it on. hint: macdeployqt
I'll talk to my Mac dev, but could you go into more detail on how to correctly package it? Thanks. Sure! macdeployqt makes it easy: macdeployqt SynCoin-Qt.app After that, the dependencies will reside in the .app under /Frameworks You can confirm that everything is bundled correctly by using otool -L on /MacOS/SynCoin-Qt inside the app Is that all? Thank you very much; I'll have him upload the ZIP tonight (he's got work currently). ZIPPING FIXED BINARY NOW

@Dev. Wallet for mac will not run on Mac Os 10.9.1 Mavericks. I can try to compile myself if you can give me instructions. Thanks.
However, you can find mac build instructions here: https://github.com/ppcoin/ppcoin/wiki/Mac-OSX-Wallet-Build-Instructions

My confirmed Syn is piling up, should I worry about teh afterlife?
Luckily though, my unconfirmed Syn is 0 and I'm pretty sure they can't hold my Immature Syn against me. Oh wait, my immature Syn is being confirmed ... there goes that.

I LOVE the idea of this coin so much that I hired somebody to mine it for me. Well that was a costly mistake on my part and had to make them switch course of action 10 hours in to a crap coin to try to recoup some money. Wishing you well and hoping you succeed. If anybody wants to sell some cheap coins once things get going please keep me mind.
What's your address? I'll send some to you right now. I really appreciate that. My hired miner is in bed and has the wallet used for mining earlier today if you want that address for verification. I will be downloading wallet within a hour and can provide that address if it's ok? I just want to prove that I speak the truth. Let me know which works for you please. Also, this gesture shows me the kind of person that you are. I will support you and help spread the word via twitter too!

UPDATE/CRY FOR HELP: UPON ATTEMPTING MACDEPLOYQT:
ERROR: no file at "/opt/local/lib/lib/libdb_cxx-4.8.dylib"
At first, I simply made the dir and ran the deploy. Appeared to work, but test run failed. So I Googled this, appears to be an unpatched QT bug. Anyone know how to resolve this? It's preventing the Mac wallets from working.

The reward changes with difficulty. Higher diff = higher reward... and currently it's 109, not 9.99.

I'm really liking what this coin has to offer. It feels like it has professional production values, and a real possibility to stick out amongst the crowd. Sometimes new entries in the crypto economy can hit snags, and thats a given. The way everything's been handled with this coin thus far has been done in a fashion similar to how I would have managed things. Issues were addressed in a timely manner and were resolved quickly.
I don't have much, but im pushing my 800 h/hs towards this for a while. Lets push things forward!

Thanks! I really appreciate your feedback. EDIT: to the person above, I just got that from someone else. I'm running a debugger now.

Tried but getting this error. src/db.h:15:10: fatal error: 'db_cxx.h' file not found Ahh, basically edit your syncoin-qt.pro file and comment out the "Windows" section at the top. Then qmake then make (with the respective arguments).

I see two cons of this coin:
1- So, I saw the payout is linear with difficulty. Current payout is 109 per block and difficulty is around 10. So, even if difficulty goes to 1000 which I think takes more than 2 months, the payout will go to around 10,000 which is still very low considering the 250B coins. This will disappoint miners and they will move away and therefore difficulty will stuck and so will payout.
2- Since the payout increases with difficulty, people on exchange sites do not have enough motivation to buy and hold coins because they scare the price will drop because of incoming more coins. I can say the price will be reduced over time rather than increase.
Dev, could you comment on these ?
