So basiclly after 5 weeks of mining there will be 20 bil coins, so minting those remaining 50 bil could in theory take infinity to mint if they are all moved around all the time?
This coin is undervalued.
I believe this as well. Good insight!

Q: You said 20% interest per year, do I have to wait 1 year to get the PoS interest?
A: No. PoS blocks will be generated after you hold some coins in your wallet for certain period of time. For MintCoin the minimum requirement is 20 days. If you move around the coins (for example send to other wallet and then send back), the time will reset for those moved. http://mintcoin.cc/faq/Yeah, between the front page of this thread and the new website most questions have been answered except this one: So will PoS be implemented in 2 days? That would be 20 days after launch. Or will the first 20 day period start after the mining phase ends?

I think (just an opinion, based on hunch and analysis) taking in consideration many factors such as trolong and fontase and all those activities recently; since many whales did their job at entering markets at 10-15, it may be wise to hold out a bit, outside MINT; wait for it to drop to 20-ish for rebuy. It should happen. Not doing any FUD, just stating that what is quite possible outcome, if you think about it.
When whales go out for a bit, you can then see the real things in coin. MINT even with 15-20 price has great market cap, thus giving a lot of room for increase to 80+ for everyone, not just whales. Well, in any case, just some thoughts.
If you want to get in before it reaches 100+ satoshis you better get moving. We won't be seeing 20-ish again. I think we will see 350 by next week.

So what if TOP coin is best coin to invest at this moment, it doesn't mean that I have to sell all my mints now and buy TOPs!
Why are you spamming this same sentence in multiple coin threads! Need to dump some TOP coins?

All coins that have matured for the 20 period will begin to generate at that point. Those two items are separate. That's my understanding from what I've read. If it's not accurate perhaps the devs can elaborate.

It is implemented. The absolute earliest you could start generating stake is Feb 26 - assuming you had coins in your wallet starting on Feb. 6. March 15th refers to the date where mining rewards will drop to 1 coin per block, and thus the coin will transition to "PoS only" mode.

Price correction, it's good for the health of the coin. Once the holders with weak hands get out this coin will be huge

Here is a sneak peak of the wallet coming up. There is even the possibility of extra features being integrated into the wallet but more of that later. www.mintcoin.ccScroll down the homepage and look at the testimonials (the team is growing). Looking great!! A sugestion: Add a button or menu option to unlock wallet for minting. MANY people seem to have a problem unlocking it...
