Why do some people in crypto still wish the downfall of Bitcoin?

Maybe because they want to buy Bitcoin in low price, so that they wish the downfall of this coin. And I think it only happen when the market is dumping, they can buy lower price Bitcoin but if the market is falling surely the other cryptocurrency will also fall their price. But unfortunately Bitcoin right now is gradually rising, so I suggest to those people who waiting for the downfall of bitcoin is to wait because right now is the time for the rising of the cryptocurrency.

Based on my analysis, bitcoin will never ever go down to $1k, there is no basis on that. And I do not think ICOs and other projects tend to spread false rumors to make the bitcoin's price a downfall. We all know that other coins are just following bitcoin's situation.

These people can be categorized further. There are Bitcoin haters actually. They are the ones who entered into the Bitcoin arena just to spread FUDs and ways to create trouble and panic among the supporters. There are also those who just want the prices to go down so that they could accumulate a bigger amount with a discounted price. I think this is the result of having a mentality that’s stuck on bitcoin as an investment. One thing that really surprises me is how some new projects come into blockchain and start spreading false news and making baseless analysis that bitcoin will fail all in the name of making their own project a success. In crypto, we should accept that bitcoin is the KING and anytime bitcoin falls, all other altcoins also fall. I have read news where people were predicting that bitcoin will go back to 1k and now that bitcoin and other cryptos are down, they are changing their predictions to favour bitcoin. This all proves that their plans backfired and they are beginning to realize that when bitcoin is down, most other alts will be down. All these news we spread rather drive away investors and at the end of the day, we all lose. Why can't we unite and spread good news rather than hate one of our own?

I think the people who spread fake rumors and negative news or opinions of them are the haters of the bitcoin. They are the one who wants it to fall down because they don't seem to like it. Because of that fake news scattered around the media and in world, the possible investors are now doubting if they will still engage or join the cryptocurrency world. But remember that although it falling down sometimes, it will soar high again and if bitcoin will end the other cryptocurrency will also fall.

That's something i also don't understand because we all know bitcoin is the king of cryptocurrencies and it has over 50% dominance over altcoins making other coins rise when bitcoin also rises. I don't understand why they would want bitcoin to fall.

Bitcoin along with few good crypto coins will be always leading the market.  Some people with vested interests may be spreading fake news and many times they are successful in moving upwards or downwards the market. 
Speculators; big whales; people with SCAM ICOs always try to swallow the wealth of innocent investors so they doing such actions in their favor; it is up to us to become intelligent; search on our own and take decision on our own experience not based on the fake news.

Those Who wish the downfall of $Bitcoin are probably those who missed out on buying it when it was little known and cheap, those who sold all their holdings out of impatience, those who are having a project they want to see become as big as bitcoin overnight and those who probably bought High last December only to now see the price at $6k. Each person in this category feels anger, jealousy, frustration and overall inferior to those who have hit it big from the bitcoin explosive gains. I feel so too sometimes not for $Bitcoin, but for coins I am involved with or was involved with.

Mostly want it deeper to buy huge volume at lower cost. Some wished that way for the others to become miserable also after losing profit from investment, it make them feel bad for themselves and want others to feel the same way.
 I do not think it will come to much lower price because it many investors take chances for opportunity taking it this time.

I believe that people really have an opinion about the bitcoin market and its value. What I am not sure of is  the people's intention on doing it or wanting the lowing of the bitcoin's value. This could possibly be a some sort strategy for others.

I think for now there are a lot of users and investors have not wanted to lower prices further. we have seen prices drop too deeply and after all there are many people who already buy at cheap prices right now. today people only want prices to recover immediately so they can sell them and profit

I think many projects rely on the price of Bitcoin to fall or rise. Sometimes when Bitcoin goes up, the price of their project falls and when Bitcoin goes down, the price also falls. This is what makes many people fed up and they want also their altcoins to rise as many big BTC holders make and made their money also through buying and selling altcoins. This is how the marketcap has grown. If we had just bitcoin, probably the price of Bitcoin would be far less than what it is now, despite it has to share market price and value with another 1.8k different projects and coins. Still BTC dominance is way over 50% and everyone wants a big piece of this pie.
