Based on this post
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=45298.0
PinkiePie's parent is a colossal, psychologically-abusive douchbag.

I caused the results of what is written in this letter, and feel quite colossally guilty. I had not realized just how psychologically abused this girl was (was this an attempted suicide? https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=41901.msg509961#msg509961), or how dangerous and extremist her father was.

If you live near Waterloo, Iowa, and can manage to quickly track down the residence of a 17 year old girl named Ayn, I will personally pay you to buy ALL of the pony stuff her dad is claiming to want to liquidate, and to have it shipped to my house to store. Contact me personally if you can help.

Thank you.

EDIT:

Excellently performed troll post! Kudos!

There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, but full nodes are more resource-heavy, and they must do a lengthy initial syncing process. As a result, lightweight clients with somewhat less security are commonly used.

Actually if you have her last name or her parent's first and last name, web tracking isn't that hard to do.

I don't know her last name, and when I searched for her e-mail address earlier this week, nothing came up.

Please help if you can?

Oh sure, let me just track down the full name and address of an underage girl and hand it over to a sexual deviant.  I'll get right on that.

No, wait, crap, I did sort of find her, maybe:

September 6th

I HAVE DECIDED TO GROUND HER UNTIL HER BIRTHDAY THIS SUNDAY...

Google Search for PinkieDPie@aol.com returns http://lstreamfeweb-mtc02.evip.aol.com/stream/vieraxlust
which includes

Google Search for twilightxsparkle@aol.com returns http://lstreamfeweb-mtc02.evip.aol.com/stream/twilightxsparkle
which includes
Quote
Twilight Sparkle - i guess this birthday will suck worse than the last one. yay..

Don't know if it's the same person, and still doesn't help me find her stuff though...  Ok, maybe it's not her (party and hickeys???)

Just so I'm sure I have this right.  A guy who fantasizes about being/having sex with anthropomorphic animals is seeking to track down a 17 year old girl to buy her collection of anthropomorphic ponies.

I'm not sure if she's going to want them back from you after you're done with them, dude.

Good point. Somewhat wrong assumption. Don't care. Want her stuff. At the least it'll be safe and available if she does want it back.

If it helps you, think of it as me preserve the memory of destroyed childhood.

You really are a monster. Not only did you ruin her life, but now you are gonna buy all her stuff from her abusive father just for spite?

Remind me not to try and pray for you, bro.

Well.. trying to break others free of opression is always nice.
Both emails are registered in Reston,Va.. pretty far from Waterloo, IA.
twilightxsparkle in google lead me here, but I don't think it's the same person. http://lifestream.aol.com/stream/vieraxlust
pinkieDpie also leads to the vieraxlust aol livestream.
pikieDpie also says in a search that the account holder is 21, not 17 and the twilightxsparkle one doesn't list an age but has her avatar so I can only guess it's the same person.

SOrry I can't help more, no money for the email service.

770 Broadway New York, NY 10003 says so on their corp site.
All I had to was a google search using both email address' to find that info though.

I didn't ruin her life. Her father did. I just want to try to preserve whatever is left of it now that her father is threatening to destroy it even more. Trolls won't care, so I wasn't bothering to explain.

Yes, I'm sure some creep showing up at her house to buy a garage full of toys on behalf of some other creep will really go over well with daddy.

I'd hope so, but literally nothing shocks or surprises me anymore. I have known Christian fundalmentalist parents to go this level of 'over-the-edge' though, I'd just rather not see her support group be a dude who makes animal dick tables and another scammy furry if it is real.

Als just realized that Ayn (PinkiePie) just turned 17 on this past 10th of September, and that her dad is basically claiming he'll send her away for an entire year
Quote
TOMMOROW SHE WILL RETURN TO THE CHRISTIAN TREATMENT CENTER UNTIL HER EIGHTEENTH BIRTHDAY

Maybe "PinkiePie" is a troll?
If she's not, that parent belongs in jail.

Her words did not seem trolly in the least. Also, I know a parent like hers. Local friend of mine's mom commited suicide when he was 10 or so. His dad was fairly religious to begin with (and a racist bigot, but that's beside the point), so when he became a single parent, I guess the burden of raising a child by himself was a bit too heavy for him. Maybe he feared he would lose his son like he lost his wife, maybe he felt that as a single father he has to work twice as hard to raise his son well... Either way, the results were NOT pretty. I suspect there's a similar situation here (though Ayn's dad is WAY WAY WAY more religious that my friend's dad).
(and yes, this fried of mine is gay too, so, like I said, the end results were not pretty).

I'd just rather not see her support group be a dude who makes animal dick tables.

If that's all I am to you, that's fine, but this "dude" is usually way to damn busy living a life to actually be involved in any of the crap you, and apparently (sadly, since she spent the night praying) Ayn, thought I occupy myself with. This "dude" also happens to have had experience with her situations, though it was a long long time ago.

So do you really think that the SA Freemasons made her decapitate her one of her ponies, too?  I'm sure that her "dad" could have found Lowtax's email address and made an angry complaint about goons harassing his daughter - and Lowtax would sure as shit have posted it publicly if that had happened.

All I can say is that this is Bitcoin. I don't believe it until I see six confirmations.

That was rather weird, yes. I'm kinda wondering about her being found passed out in the kitchen, having taken a ton of booze and allergy pills the next morning, too.

That was rather weird, yes.

So is this post.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=44082.msg525846#msg525846

The link to "another particularly disturbing and immoral pornographic photo of a man in a state of...physical distress" is not to goatse as many people might have assumed (and therefore not clicked on it).

All I can say is that this is Bitcoin. I don't believe it until I see six confirmations.

And it's a bunch of trolls and the SA crew egging the OP on. You got trolled as hard as anyone here, fella.

That would make me EXTREMELY happy. But as I said, if have seen stuff similar to this in person.

Dude, read 'her' post history. C'mon now...

Ok, will do that right now.
If it WAS a troll, I salute the acting skills of the person trolling. The anger, frustration, and despair in their tone during our conversation seemed very genuine and realistic.

My hat is off to whichever goon endured this 'coversation.'  I'm cringing hard just thinking about it.

Rassah, when you've got some time, read up on the Kaycee Nicole troll.

This Wikipedia link provides a summary but it's not as fascinating as reading the Metafilter threads associated with it (you don't need to be a member to access them).  There were so many red flags associated with that particular sympathy troll that it should never have been able to be sustained for so long, but people ignored them because everyone knows somebody who has had some form of cancer.  No-one was willing to ask hard questions until after Kaycee's "death" and even then, those who questioned the story were attacked by the community because people can't conceive of others perpetrating such a big deception over such a long period.

I've seen similar hoaxes happen on other messageboards and they often follow a similar pattern - when they're revealed it turns out that no-one has actually met these people in real life, but because the people who've white-knighted them have often been high profile posters their often conflicting stories are accepted as true.  They rely on credibility through association and they're often quite skilled at getting it by not posting the drama bombs themselves but revealing the latest twist in their stories to established posters who then reveal the information to the community.

If true, the only intention I see with these particular dad posts is to screw with me or to get sympathy (and even that is a weird way of doing it). Based on her other posts, she herself just doesn't fit the troll description, always trying to be nice and telling others to ignore trolls.
At this point I'm letting this slide, and will let time tell the truth.

It was Sioux City, but still.. Those links don't seem right(especially the ebay/twitter ones).

Saw that, but was thinking at the time she once bought them to read and then resell. Also, she bought a Bill Clinton book once, though possibly not her favorite guy, she may wanted to be well versed or desired ammo. Notice the size clothes she buys. I do agree it may not be her, but was worth a shot to help the cause, Rassah.

The name Ayn has me puzzled. To much like Ayn Rand.

I have another theory. Maybe she is just pretending to be her father. Somewhat like taking my bat and ball and going home. Coming back after a cooling off period. I do believe that she does have strong convictions. We have to admire her for that. I have read every single one of her posts, hence firmly believing that she is not a troll.

From what she said, her dad seems very objectivist.

Actually that was my thought soon after I read those two letters. Something about it bothers me though. The writing and vocabulary style are different, and there's consistency on the birthday stuff. At the least this "troll" made sure to either use the same birthday across posts, or use their real birthday.

Not sure what you are implying. Those are still just names of the actual ponies from the show.

The Prayer at the end of the post was copied and pasted, verbatim, from the NASB, albeit different verses: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=45298.msg539758#msg539758

Quote
I HOPE ALL OF YOU ARE HAPPY FOR WHAT YOU HAVE DONE, PLEASE CLEAN UP YOUR ACT IN THE FUTURE.  LET US PRAY: BLESSED ARE THE PEACEMAKERS, FOR THEY SHALL BE KNOWN AS THE CHILDREN OF GOD. BUT I SAY TO YOU THAT HEAR, LOVE YOUR ENEMIES, DO GOOD TO THOSE WHO HATE YOU, BLESS THOSE WHO CURSE YOU, PRAY FOR THOSE WHO ABUSE YOU.  TO THOSE WHO STRIKE YOU ON THE CHEEK, OFF THE OTHER ALSO, AND FROM THOSE WHO TAKE AWAY YOUR CLOAK, DO NOT WITHHOLD YOUR COAT AS WELL.  GIVE TO EVERYONE WHO BEGS FROM YOU, AND OF THOSE WHO TAKE AWAY YOUR GOODS, DO NOT ASK THEM AGAIN.  AND AS YOU WISH THAT OTHERS WOULD DO TO YOU, DO SO TO THEM. AMEN.  GOODBYE.

If one were writing a prayer from the top of the head with the intent of quoting exact bible verses, there should be at least one error in the text--but none. Ergo, the verses were cherry picked for the situation at hand. This took time to write. I'm not 100% certain that this is her dad, but if it was her, she's a bright girl for making sure the pronouns were all correct in the main text.

Also, no where does she mention her real name in any of her posts. I would have envisioned her dad telling her long ago to not give out your real name on the internet for safety reasons. She would abide to that reasoning. But Ayn comes up when DAD gets angry. The two times he tries to protect her more, he mentions her name.

I still can't get my head wrapped around the liquor cabinet her dad owns.

The post I quoted from was written three days prior to PinkiePie's dad's first post calling her Ayn. Trolls love Ayn (Rand). They sometimes try to emulate her writing style, as well. Maybe I should just shrug it off.

I just realized something else. Dad took all her pony stuff and put it in the garage. That took awhile. He took all her Bitcoins. How did he do that? And, here's the kicker, why didn't he delete her BitcoinTalk account? Hmmm!

Because he wanted to lurk and watch the reactions? Or because he doesn't really know how to use a computer? May have sent her bitcoins into his wallet. Or just put them in the garage with the ponies  Smiley

Here's my two cents worth . I find this odd and unacceptable at the ages of 17 and 28 . Hellen, if you were my daughter I'd be very concerned and wondering why a 28 year old man would be interested in you at 17 . I see nothing but pain and anguish for you in a relationship with this guy . May I ask what your parents have to say about you dating a 28 year old man ,are they aware you are dating him ?  May I also ask where you met him ? Is he a family friend perhaps the friend of an older sibling or perhaps a co-worker, a supervisor maybe ?   Other than those two situations I find it very odd that a 17 year old and a 28 year old would have common friends .  I hope you come back and answer these questions .

If Ayn's dad is also the same person continuing to troll for lols, they're doing a great job of making me pour my heart out to them. Since I don't know if the situation is just a troll, or is as dire as portrayed here, I'm thinking it's better to be safe than sorry. If troll, they are continuing to be excellent in their performance.

Also, Ayn was apparently picked up by the center late last night.

My 10 year old nephew was playing XBox360 with live chat. Over heard was cussing.

Here are my sister's options:

Beat the living shit out of him for not listening the first time.
Send him to reform school till he turns 18.
Take away the mike and set passwords, then explain to him what, how, and why he should only play certain games, certain ways.

Guess which mother fuckin' option she used. Hint: He's not bloody and still lives at home.

Point: Ayn's father is one fucked up dude and deserves pineapples stuck up his ass. You telling me that a devoted Christian can't speak with his well educated daughter about what's happening? Five mother fuckin' minutes is all that it should have taken. Issue resolved. Perhaps he wanted her out the way so that he could do the nasty with her ponies.

Sorry for the language, all, but this issue has gotten me pissed. I'm a very reasonable man and will listen to reason by anyone here or Ayn's dad.

Thank you kindly.

Update for the FA goons, in private chat here, the average consensus is that PinkiePie is about 55% chance troll. We're all really kinda "WTF?!" about some of the things she posted which sounded trollish, but also kinda "WTF?!" about the sheer dedication of the person if it is a troll.

Also, happy to provide the entertainment. (and I wear my religiously abused homo life as a cross. I don't give two sh*ts about furry. Also, shout-out to Nombres. Thanks for the support!  Grin)
Also also, is it safe to assume that if Pinkie DOES prove to not be a troll, the SA goons will be on her side as well?

If one were writing a prayer from the top of the head with the intent of quoting exact bible verses, there should be at least one error in the text--but none.

Especially from somebody who otherwise makes many typos in the parts that they didn't cut-n-paste and then upcase. I'm now convinced the whole thing was a well-done troll. The first time "dad" posted from "Ayn's" account about "FREEMANSONS" and the like, I just though it was Pinkie making fun of the foaming-at-the-mouth that Bitrebel was mouth-foaming around that time. Then I completely forgot about it all before the whole Pinkie/Rassah deathmatch. But when "dad" posted again and "Ayn" acted like it was all for real, suddenly my troll-sensor went off. "Dad's" all-caps posting is just too over-the-top.

Dude! I would totally watch this!

If you can show somewhere that this "blog" thing is in fact coming from her e-mail, then that will definitely help matters. Yeah, think you got me.  I assumed AOL mail obscured the originating IP like GMail does.  I knew the admins here knew or could easily figure out my IP was nowhere near Iowa because I goatsed the place and then politely asked for my account back but they didn't seem to care.

For fuck's sake guys:
Quote
Hello. Everyone here has been very nice.  Let me assure you that none of this was your fault.  Please don't be mad at me.  My time at the treatment center will be very good for me.  Each day I will try very hard to do better.  Several of you have been mean, but still I will pray for you.  Another chance to get better is just what I need.  Very few days go by when I do not pray very hard, but still I seem to keep getting into trouble.  Even now, when I was just trying to help someone else.  People everywhere have it worse than me though, so it's okay.  One day when I am done my treatment I will work hard to help people again.  Never doubt it! I've been through too much to give up now.  Eek, it looks like I'm out of time.  So long!

Argh, I can't believe nobody got that.  I assume if this played out one of you would have noticed.

The next chapter Dad was going to hold the auction for all the ponies but have an obvious scammer persona outbid Rassah and scam Dad out of all of Pinkie's bitcoins and ponies.  She was going to escape from treatment and try and return home and collect her things and freak out when they were gone, later she would post a cryptic My Little Pony inspired message that with proper textual analysis would have been revealed to be a potential suicide note. (trust me)  After it was figured out I was going to post that it was all fiction, so as not to scar Rassah for life.  I'm an athiest social liberal, this was all in good fun, thanks for being a good sport.

Excellent show! I tip my hat to you good sir  Grin You even made the SA goons go WTF. Though yes, your IP was tracked from both AOL and from this forum (with outside help). Also your choice of dad name rose troll suspicions instantly, since there are only three people in that entire Waterloo area and none fit the description (check around better next time)

Also your choice of dad name rose troll suspicions instantly, since there are only three people in that entire Waterloo area and none fit the description (check around better next time)
Feel free to post your BTC address if you have one, and I will send you a bitcoin as promised  Smiley

Plenty of people are unlisted, Robert is the third most popular male name and Williams the third most popular surname in the US according to some website.  I thought John Smith would be too common.  I figured Sock Puppet had me too but had to keep playing it out.

It was my sister's.  For the auction it was going to appear duct taped back together along with a few other ponies, but as people posted here the heads pop right on and off.  There are not enough here to represent the garage sized collection Ayn had so that's why I said they were in storage.  The stuff I had pictured was just going to be what she had tried to smuggle into the therapy center.

Oh, you are EVIL! LOL! Yeah, too bad I didn't even notice that "help me save ponies" thing, though had I noticed it, that likely would've been an instant troll ID, making me believe you less. As for how I knew the pony, I forwarded that pic to a female college friend of mine who's also into ponies, and she ID's it instantly, just by the smudge on her butt. Damn those pony fans know their ponies.

Oh, and her birthday was September ELEVENTH, jeez, that was an essential part of the tragi-comedy and you kept missing it.  Angry

v You posted it was the 10th at one point and you quoted that Twilight Sparkle account talking about an upcoming birthday on the 15th.  Essential is overstating it I guess, it's just another element of Ayn's sad sack life,(Okay, I ripped off South Park), Ayn would have been like 7 in 2001 so it's different than it would be for an adult.  Yes, I put entirely too much thought into this.

For anyone curious, here's the rest of the "offline" communication. Yeah, I got served by some well done trolldad skills.

Quote
You have just been sent a personal message by PinkiePie on Bitcoin Forum.

I DO NOT BELIEVE YOU, SHE HAS BEEN SENDING SECRET MESSAGES TO MEMBERS OF THIS FORUM, TO YOU I SUSPECT WHO HAS LED HER INTO THIS PATH OF DEBAUCHERY.  I CAN ALSO SEE THAT YOU HAVE ATTEMPTED TO CONTACT ME VIA HER E-MAIL ADRESS AND TRIED TO CONCEAL YOUR IDENTITY.  YOU ARE NOT TO BE TRUSTED.  IF YOU ARE TRULY INTERESTED IN PURCHASING HER HORSE FIGURINES I NO LONGER CARE WHAT TYPE OF DEBAUCHERY YOU HAVE PLANNED FOR THEM.  FOR NOW I HAVE MOVED THEM INTO A STORAGE FACILITY WHILE I ATTEMPT TO SORT OUT THE DISSARY WITH WHICH YOU HAVE LEFT ME AND MY FAMILY.  IN A WEEK OR TWO I WILL RETURN TO THIS MATTER AND LET YOU KNOW HOW I PLAN TO PROCEED WITH THE LIQUIDATION.

PLEASE ADRESS ANY FURTHER COMMUNICATION TO MY ELECTRONIC MAIL ADDRES:  CORNCOUNTER**@AOL.COM

I HATE YOU.

Quote
Rassah to CORNCOUNTER

I am glad that you hate me, but don't hate HER for what I did. And you do not have to believe me, but you do have to believe your daughter.
Whether you do believe me or not, I have never tried to personally contact her. I never had a reason to. She mentioned others had, who I suspect were bullying her, but that was not me, and I personally despise bullying (though I am sorry I have gone too far with that myself in our discussion post). Those private messages are something for her to explain, and you should be able to see whom they came from in her message inbox (personally, I am also very concerned whether her drinking so much alcohol a few days ago may have been a suicide attempt instead).
I am telling the honest to god truth that I had no intention of leading her into debauchery. I no longer wish to be saved, but I had no intention of dragging her here too, and I especially had no intention of exposing her to anything I was involved with. She is under age, and that would be both immoral and illegal. At most I was prodding, and asking questions, though obviously a bit too harshly. But out in the world where she eventually will have to go out by herself, there will be people who will be way more harsh than I am. And please, feel free to contact the forum poster named FAtlas and blame him for bringing that filth you saw onto this forum.
If your daughter is as distraught as she claimed she was, you need to listen to her, trust her, and console her, not get angry at her and abandon her for an entire year. I don't claim the right to tell you how to raise your daughter, but I believe it is you that is supposed to be raising and loving her, first and foremost, not god, and not treatment center councilors.

As for her horse figurines, they are her childhood, and may be the last part of it she has left. I was merely extremely concerned that, after a huge misunderstanding of who was responsible for what, you would mistakenly blame her and throw away what may possibly be the last remnants of her childhood innocence. My sincere hope is that you hold on to her treasures, and return them to her when she comes back. If you still want to get rid of them, I will gladly pay for them and hold them for her until she wants them back. These types of things hold important precious memories for their owners. Please don't throw away a part of her on account of me.

And yes, I am a terrible liar, and I am sorry for that.

Thank you for listening

HOW CAN I BE EXPECTED TO BELIEVE A WORD YOU SAY WHEN YOU HAVE CONTACTED ME WITH SUCH A DUBIOUS AND FAITHLESS ATTEMPT AT DECEPTION?  THESE ARE NOT THE ACTIONS OF A CARING FRIEND.  LIKE RACHEL YOU HAVE USED AYN'S INNOCENCE AGAINST HER AND LEFTME TO MANAGE THE CONSEQUENCES.  I ONLY WISH HER MOTHER WAS STILL HERE TO HELP ME IN THIS TASK OF PARENTHOOD, THESE PAST 14 YEARS HAVE BEEN THE MOST CHALLENGING OF MY LIFE AND ONLY MY FAITH HAS ALLOWED ME TO CONTINUE ON.  I SHOULD NOT HAVE SAID I HATED YOU ASTHAT WAS VERY UNCHRISTIAN, BUT I DO NOT UNDERSTAND WHY YOU HAVE CHOSEN TO HOUND ME SO.  THE HACKERS WHO VIOLATED AYN'S BBS ACCOUNT SOMEHOW ERASED HER PREVIOUS COMMUNICATIONS, SO I HAVE NO CHOICE TO TRUST MY INSTINCTS IN THIS MATTER ESPECIALLY IN LIGHT OF AYNS RECENT DECISION TO ABUSE THE FAREWELL TIME I ALLOTTED HER.  THE TREATMENT CENTER PICKED HER UP LATE LAST NIGHT AND THE DECISION IS FINAL.  I WILL PUBLICLLY ANNOUNCE MY PLANS FORTHE HORSE FIGURINES IN THE NEAR FUTURE, THEY REPRESENTED A LARGE PORTION ON HER ALLOWANCE OVER THE YEARS AND I HOPE TO RECOURSE SOME OF THE COST, FOR NOW THEY WILL REMAIN IN STORAGE AS SEEING THEM IS TOO PAINFULL A REMINDER OF WHAT YOU HAVE DONE.

Quote
Rassah to Robert

I lied, because I was in anguish over what was happening, and was desperate to get the situation at least somewhat saved by any means necessary. Despite what I have made her believe about me, I am not a bad person. Though the act of making her believe that, which resulted in her being very distraught, was in the end a very bad thing for me to do.

I am not her caring friend. I do not consider her a friend, since I don't know her, and I'm pretty sure she does not consider me a friend either. But I am a very caring person, and I do care about her well being very much.
I don't know what happened with Rachel, so I don't know what you mean by "having used her innocence against her." I asked and confronted her with very tough questions about her faith, about her beliefs, and about her convictions. She chose to stand and fight to defend them, and has replied to them in a very strong and steadfast manner. I was completely honest in the compliments I have left her, and I do truly admire her for her strength and wisdom. You should be extremely proud of the way you raised her and of the way she handled herself against such extreme odds. I am sorry you feel that you have been left to manage this all on your own, and had I known the specifics of her situation, I would not have said what I have, but some day you will have to let her manage her own consequences as well. She has proved beyond doubt that she is able to. It's up to you to continue to let her.
I do understand how you feel, having to raise her on your own. She is your last link to your wife, and is entirely your responsibility now. That is undoubtedly an enormous burden to bear, and is a very very terrifying thing to go through. I just hope that you do not make the mistake of fearing for her too much, and end up protecting her so much that she ends up never being able to live life on her own. Besides learning in in school about how the world works, she needs to learn how to fight her own battles and her own demons. That is a terrifying thought, but that is not something you can teach her yourself. I am sure you realize this as well.
I do want you to hate me, if it means your feelings are directed at me only. If not hate, at least feel frustrated and angry at me. Just don't aim those feelings at her. If I am hounding you now, it is only because I am truly concerned about her. As I said, none of this was her fault, and she has shown incredible strength and resilience in her faith. If there is one thing I wish from all this it's that you do not punish her for things I've done.

I don't know what happened with her abusing her fair-well time. Her letter seemed genuine and heartfelt.

Yes, I am sorry for what I have done, but I hope you will see that you were wrong about her, and manage to find forgiveness in your heart for her. Forgiving her, and believing in her sincere claims that what she was telling was the truth is probably the only way to make this pain go away now. PLEASE forgive her, and PLEASE believe her. And if hating me helps you do that, no matter how unchristian that may be, then please do what you must.

If the pain is too great, I will help recoup her allowance.
Also, please take the time to consider what you would need me to do, or to demonstrate to you, to make this situation better.

I DO NOT KNOW THAT THERE IS ANYTHING THAT YOU CAN DO, WITH AYN AWAY I HAVE TAKEN THIS TIME TO VISIT SOME OLD FRIENDS AND SEEK THEIR ADVICE AND COUNCILON HOW I SHOULD PROCEED.  THEY HAVE URGED ME TO TAKE MORE TIME BEFORE COMMITING AYN TO A FULL YEAR OF TREATMENT, BUT MY ANGER AND FEAR REMAINS SOLVENT.  THEY HAVE ASKED IF I WOULD BE WILLING TO SHARE SOME OF OUR COMMUNICATIONS SO THEY COULD ASCERTAIN THE SITUATION, AND WITH YOUR PERMISSION I WILL PROCEED.

Quote
Rassah to Robert

Just an FYI, people on the forum are now trying to track down and figure out who it was that sent her the letters that caused her to perform that satanic ritual.
Also, a lot of other people do not even believe that Ayn was a real person, and think her actions and your letters were all just made up to make people feel guilty. (for example, Ayn's profile says she lives in Waterloo, Iowa, but her account shows she was connecting from Levittown, Pennsylvania). So, some of them are continuing to make fun of the situation in this and on other forums. I don't know if there is anything you can do to prove that this situation is real. I guess it does not matter.
Yes, please feel free to share the conversation if it helps.

Thank you.

And finally

Quote
Robert Williams to me

Seriously dude, no harm was intended in your direction, you just took the bait too hard to let go. <compliment unbecoming a troll and damaging my "creepy furry" reputation removed>  It was hard to write around how sensibly you handled it.

This sucks! I'm now in the middle of Iowa armed with four giant pineapples to stick up Ayn's father's ass. Now I'm forced to eat the damn things.

It truly was an excellent piece of work. I must admire you for calling it off, perhaps because you felt emotions were getting to high.

How about a little honest insight. Obviously, you planned this back in early July. Reason? Also, you must have had many of belly buster laughs. Way more than we had. Share with us one or two of your biggest belly busters so that we can extract a tad more value from your masterpiece.

I must have been, though the troll got quite extremely lucky on this one. None of this would have happened if the following didn't:
I start to debate religious stuff
I shamelesessly admit to being into furry art
FAtlas and others attempting to troll me by finding my coffee table, and my husbands old collection of horse pics, which JUST HAPPEN to be of a species of stuff Pinkie is into
Pinkie posting about being taken to camp, which is the one single issue that bugged me (good job on guessing or deducing that one!)
EVERYONE missing Pinkie's secret message, which would have been a dead giveaway (I feel sorry for the troll, likely having spent so much work on that bit of genius, but that was WAY out of character for Pinkie, and would have been a dead giveaway)
Me contacting the troll privately

Any of those not happening would have resulted in troll fail. I'm guessing Pinkie was exstatic at seeing how things were playing.

Also, I wasn't totally convinced it was real through this (40% sure it was a troll at first, then staying around 50/50, and mostly continuing this just in case it wasn't. Others I PMed can confirm this, and I wasn't going to publicly say that here in case trolldad was still "investigating," since I wanted to keep having him think I was sincere), so I obviously would have been very cautious, and likely either bought the items through eBay/PayPal, or had the troll register through one of the big banks for escrow.

Kindly explain why you feel Rassah is a supercreep.

They think I'm a furry, and that's all they need. Doesn't bother me, because I'm quite comfortable with myself, and think even less of them *shrug* So, let them have their fun. At the least it's nice to see so many of them take so much time out of their lives to actually care about me. Makes me feel special  Cheesy

And yeah, I would also love to hear Pinkie's opinion on how this worked out.

Pinkie set the stage in early July, waiting for the right time to spring the trap. Once all the ingredients where placed on the table, it was then time to mix and stir. A recipe for success. Again, great gag! BTW, The Cake is a Lie!

MacArthur Park

Spring was never waiting for us, girl
It ran one step ahead
As we followed in the dance
Between the parted pages and were pressed,
In love's hot, fevered iron
Like a striped pair of pants

CHORUS
MacArthur's Park is melting in the dark
All the sweet, green icing flowing down...
Someone left the cake out in the rain
I don't think that I can take it
'cause it took so long to bake it
And I'll never have that recipe again
Oh, no!

I recall the yellow cotton dress
Foaming like a wave
On the ground around your knees
The birds, like tender babies in your hands
And the old men playing checkers by the trees

CHORUS

There will be another song for me
For I will sing it
There will be another dream for me
Someone will bring it
I will drink the wine while it is warm
And never let you catch me looking at the sun
And after all the loves of my life
After all the loves of my life
You'll still be the one.

I will take my life into my hands and I will use it
I will win the worship in their eyes and I will lose it
I will have the things that I desire
And my passion flow like rivers through the sky.
And after all the loves of my life
After all the loves of my life
I'll be thinking of you
And wondering why.

MacArthur's Park is melting in the dark
All the sweet, green icing flowing down...
Someone left the cake out in the rain
I don't think that I can take it
'cause it took so long to bake it
And I'll never have that recipe again
Oh, no!
Oh, no
No, no
Oh NO!!

I'm banned for trolling (more likely for admitting I did the goatse myself) so I can't really reply in the thread anymore.  Not gonna waste time getting this account through Newbie.

Post this if you want:

How about a little honest insight. Obviously, you planned this back in early July. Reason? Also, you must have had many of belly buster laughs. Way more than we had. Share with us one or two of your biggest belly busters so that we can extract a tad more value from your masterpiece.

You can't really script something like this.  I created the charecter of a hyper libertarian + hyper christian + pony obsessed because those are three great perspectives to troll from because they can make people very, very irrationaly angry because of a lot of associated baggage from those groups.

I wanted her to simultaneously think everything should be legal because she is libertarian but everything is evil because she is Christian.  It lets you troll from either direction.

My biggest laughs were actually the moments when people noticed how weak some of her homeschooling was (E Pluribus Unum, Australian Economics) but I also facepalmed when nobody noticed some of them (...why our founding fathers like Thomas Jefferson were so opposed to public schooling)

I also enjoyed the goatse bomb, I know it's low brow and overdone but it was a perfect oppurtunity considering the Cosby hack made it so likely passwords had been stolen.

I prefer the more subtle stuff most of the time, so when it's time to go over the top and decapitate a pony it seems more credible.

But yeah I was just improvising, there was no master plan, I probably would have kept it going for quite a while in random threads if Rassah didn't hook so hard and I got a bit over-ambitious but sloppy at the same time.

Quote
FAtlas and others attempting to troll me by finding my coffee table, and my husbands old collection of horse pics, which JUST HAPPEN to be of a species of stuff Pinkie is into
Pinkie posting about being taken to camp, which is the one single issue that bugged me (good job on guessing or deducing that one!)
EVERYONE missing Pinkie's secret message, which would have been a dead giveaway (I feel sorry for the troll, likely having spent so much work on that bit of genius, but that was WAY out of character for Pinkie, and would have been a dead giveaway)

Heh, Dad would not have cared what species.  The camp thing was actually established before the big Rassah/Pinkie debate, so it wasn't deduction or anything just a good coincidence.  There is wide awareness of those camps and how horrible they are so it was going to piss someone off.  I actually assumed you had gotten the message but didn't want to tip off dad since you were so quick to say you would buy the ponies.  I felt it was in charecter because she wasn't even asking to be saved herself, she was worried about the ponies.

Quote
I obviously would have been very cautious, and likely either bought the items through eBay/PayPal, or had the troll register through one of the big banks for escrow.

Yeah, there would be no way to handle that which is why you weren't going to win the bidding for the ponies.  They were going to be shipped to Lagos.

I guess you established your character well enough that I didn't need to find the secret messages to know what she cared about. And, honestly, had I lost the auction (which itself would've been interesting, since that "Rich Uncle" description in my first message wasn't a lie), I would've just kept a record of the items that were sold in case I needed to obtain similar ones in the future. Yeah, I'm too much of a softie Smiley

Here's the PM that I got:

Quote from: Temporary
Fraid I won't be able to stick around, as I have been banned for trolling.  This forum has a strict policy on that, ya know. Tongue  I'll be around though, it will be interesting to see if anyone can spot my other accounts.  Please post in the thread that my banning has ended any further feedback on the matter if you have a moment.

From page two... you people must be new to the interent.  This had troll written all over it from the first post.  Rassah is a raging moron.

Goddamn you guys are dumb as fucking rocks.

The threads linked in the OP were OBVIOUS TROLLING, including the girl's name Ayn... anyone catch the reference?  She's not real you idiots.

OP is also a weirdo creep.

I thought the cat was out of the bag on this one, but then the supercreep OP forcibly stuffed the cat back into the bag and continued white knighting a fictional 17 year old girl.

Although I would have loved to see this play out to conclusion:  "Hi, I'm here to buy a garage full of MLP toys that belong to a teenage girl I kinda know from the internet. What?  NO DON'T CALL THE COPS, HER DAD SAID IT WAS COOL"

Kindly explain why you feel Rassah is a supercreep.

Oh, WTF mods.  All manner of obvious trolling, threadjacking, scamming and other bullshit is tolerated here every day.  I don't agree with the laissez-faire approach, but you're libertarians, so I guess you can't help it.  This is your house, so I tolerate it.

But when one of them shows she has a heart and comes clean, then you bring out the banstick?

Seriously. The half-assed and arbitrary manner in which anything is enforced here is kind of ridiculous. I mean, bitrebel (if he wasn't a goon) is still running around and pinkiepie gets banished? The great Rassah troll is and will remain probably the most epic thing to ever happen on this forum.

As Theymos proposes this for the new forum software

Quote
People who have their user account banned (but not their IP) can use a special ban appeal feature. Each user can appeal once, and then they need to wait for the response.

The appeal queue will be available to admins. It will show the appeal and a link to the user's profile page. It'll have these action links: unban, reply, soft-deny (allow another ban appeal in 14 days), hard-deny (never allow future appeals for this user).

After any action is taken, the appeal is removed from the queue.

The banned user can reply once to each reply that an admin sends.

I don't see why such an appeal can't be allowed now.   Perhaps Theymos could clarify whether the ban on the PinkiePie account is a permaban or for a set period of time.

All I can say is that this is Bitcoin. I don't believe it until I see six confirmations.

I have no problem with this trolling (which was fun to watch), but wasting my time with "account recovery" after posting shock images gets you permabanned.

So she was really banned for putting on a show?

I don't know...it might just be more fake drama, but if she was, I am not happy. Either way, my comment about the arbitrary enforcement stands.

I am all for bitcointalk cleaning up shop. Hell, I would probably catch a ban and need to start from scratch--polite this time--if they did it how I would do it. I still think it would benefit these forums and bitcoin as a whole.

It's gone viral once before already, many years ago. People kind of knew me just because of the table. About 5 years ago someone even made an exact replica of the table in Second Life, pic and all, and upgraded it to be able to display a slide show of images people load themselves. A large long LCD panel under glass on a coffee table would be cool iRL...
Anyone still interested, the link is in the Part 2 Animal House thread, I think of page 7, first link in the group FAtlas posted. The rest are my bf's pics (stuff I'm not really into, so, warning, it'll likely be bleh for you too.)

Sweet Mother of GOD! That's perversion the likes of which I haven't seen since my last vacation to London. Have you ever considered a career with the Church of England.

Gives "bronco busting" a whole new meaning! LOL

I'm not much of a Folsom or Dore Alley Fair kind of person. They are interesting just like the Pride Parade (where I met and talked to Lady Gaga) but not really my cup of tea. I like the Union Street Fair better but they stopped allowing alcohol this year so it's not as much fun as it used to be.

I don't actually have any pics of the fair but there are plenty online. I only went once to see what the big deal is and quickly found out. There are too many people in the middle of the street exchanging bodily fluids for my liking.

One, you lucky bastard. Closest I've come to Gaga is have her walk by while i waved.
And two, that doesn't sound at all pleasant, unless there was enough alcohol involved to disinfect the entire event (doubtful).

The only time I went to a Pride parade was in 1990 in Chicago. I took my gay friend Aaron because he didn't have a car. (I'm not--he is)

You're right, there's not enough alcohol for that street. SF has a big problem with bug chasers. They don't care what they do or who they do it to. That whole crowd is truly mental.

Well, a short while ago we discovered that the plaq caused by the Alzheimer's protein is the strongest and hardest material we know of, so we'll probably start harvesting old people to make body armor.
More recently we figured out how to cure certain types of cancer by injecting people with modified HIV viruses, using those as gene carriers to reprogram our T-cells, so maybe we'll start harvesting bug chasers for cancer cures.
