Good morning all, I'm sorry about the outtage. The pool server is unreachable at the moment, which likely means DOS.
I'm working as quickly as I can to restore service.
UPDATE: The pool server's external IP is unreachable, though the machine is up and running just fine. I've contacted the datacenter and hope to have it available as soon as possible.
UPDATE: Server is back online. The physical network connection to the machine went out at the switch.

I'm still not sure if I'll be supporting solidcoin2. It would require a specialized new framework and a whole host of new software. I will however gladly load up the wallet and database to send out the coins that were previously acquired. |

How about including the rest of your broken payout system in that work as well. I am looking at unconfirmed bitcoin in my account for 170 blocks now since I started keeping track and namecoin that has a hell of a lot more confirms than that on it too. No offense, but I'm starting to think you're just trolling this pool. When you first blew up in this thread, I found an issue. I corrected it. I even checked your stats specifically. Every one was exact for your share count. As for unconfirmed BTC.... are you in the SMPPS pool? If so, there hasn't been a BTC block found yet. Every found block has been paid out completely. The only existing balance is the promotional funds. |

Yes the answer to any problem when found on this forum is the person must be trolling. Well I'll tell you that I have had namecoin there unconfirmed for over the 170 blocks of bitcoin I just said when I posted again about your broken system which has to be at least 240 blocks for the namecoin that has went by and not a damn payout of it in sight. Apparently not with this scam poll though so you can keep your scamming coins and stick them straight where the sun don't shine weasel, small shock yet another rip-off artist in this *coin game who would have thought that...
Edit: And I would add now that I have checked the nmcbit pool that I was also trying out at the same time these coins were mined has my payouts sitting there waiting for me to withdraw right now so it can be done.
I got in at 1 am from a long day to find that the power had been tripped and my miner was off.  I was far more dismayed to later find that the simplecoin servers had suffered an even longer outage! We've had a full month of practically perfect uptime and this serious downtime couldn't have come at a worse time!  Man! And luck at the pool has been utterly rotten. I don't know if the bad luck or the outage was most to blame for the reduced hashrates but I was really hoping to see this pool touching 100 GH/s total by this time today and instead we're barely holding over 40 GH/s.  *sigh* Thanks to all of you miners that are sticking with this pool through this tough time. I'm really hoping that the pool has some good luck over then next 24 hours and all of our shares can be converted into juicy coins. Thanks mike for your hard work today. The pool has evolved so much in the last 7 days. |

Cheers indeed! Also, I'm testing Luke-Jr's implementation of Merged Mining on the test server. If all goes well I'll be moving it over later today. If I'm lucky I'll also finish up the solidcoin pushpool and have it up as well. |

I'm glad to see work on the pool is progressing swiftly and smoothly. I very much expect you won't risk server reliability with solidcoin this time.
I've just calculated that I actually lost funds from having a reliably backup server configured. Instead of being 2 minutes without mining at all I've spent 2 hours mining at a non merged-mining pool! Ah well.

I very much expect you won't risk server reliability with solidcoin this time.
The SC client is living on the test machine until I see source code. That said, I haven't finished the SC pool just yet. The framework works fine, but pushpool is still mad at solidcoin. |
