Other sites are running their own prediction contests these days in this forum just like Bitcasino which is a great trend that is gathering steam.

Which other sites are running prediction contest on forum can you tell so we can also have a look at them to see how they are running it?

Historically, BTC tends to rise rapidly at the end of the year, but this year could be different thanks to the worsening global economy situation and COVID after-effects which is why I am expecting it to rise by a small margin.

Yeah this month we are not seeing great surge coming in bitcoin but each year we don't see bitcoin prices going up in December if you see the charts clearly but can anticipate some pumps coming up in new year being optimistic but will see how it goes.

I switched from long-term HODLING to short-term HODLING recently because of the fact that BTC is behaving like a stablecoin these days in certain ranges which turned out to be the right decision for me.

It can get to that level but most probably seeing the current pattern it looks like it will take some time say by year end to cross $18k barrier because prices are just going up down with normal pace but it can change anytime making some other person winner in the contest so best wishes to all.

I know missed the first prediction deadline but have submitted my prediction so hope bitcoin remains in the current circle  but thanks for providing the link and yes it's similar to @Bitcasino monthly prediction contest.

I can't say what will happen with the people funds who have lost it to the FTX crash but yes there is small hope of recovery for them and market can come alive again but now it's hope and need time for recovery.

@Betwrong Yeah one more week left to the month and all the good news seems to have been blocked out by other bad news, so all in all not much movement. I truly hope we can capture 17k as support at minimum but it looks like we're be ending December on a slight low, and what I didn't see coming was USD was also going to lose its value against euro, so my prediction seems a bit far off right now. Still, maybe time for a Santa rally, right?

No historical data show that Bitcoin reached a new ATH when there's no halving occur, it always the halving giving to much hype on this coin that's why we see a series of pump and then a new record breaking ATH has been set. Maybe next year possibly we can see that since for provably many will think that this will be the start of recovery so maybe at that time the demand will increase for bitcoin if many will start to accumulate.

There is not only the hype but some fundamental changes in bitcoin after every halving, which cause the rise in bitcoin price. It is that after every halving, we see that the miner's rewards are half too which is why we see a surge in bitcoin prices.

Right now i don't see any good news which can create demand and push the bitcoin prices higher. We are surrounded by all negative news which includes restrictions on crypto and also centralized exchanges and platforms getting exposed and bankrupt. Once these negative events are finished, we can hope for some recovery in 2nd quarter of 2023, however gambling at Bitcasino will be entertaining no matter what is the bitcoin price.

Majority maybe agree to that since its hard to see a huge price recovery after the market newly crash badly. Maybe the scenario we can see is half to that since for sure we can see bitcoin price slowly start to recover at that year.

We can only speculate about prices based on different factors but what will happen depends on the actual market conditions at that time so we just need to wait for that time.But that is what makes these prediction contests more fun and competitive to see whose speculation was closer and we can assume no major pumps this month and ending between $16-$18k range only but anything can happen.

Agree on this and this method is always working since the early days of Bitcoin which most people is speculating on higher price that creates positive vibes to general pulse of crypto traders. Right now due to the very obvious bear market people mindset is to wait for the price to dump more so no one is continuously buying due to this negativity in the air.

I believe that having a positivity that shares to other will create a movement for a price pump just like the old times that most of Bitcoin OG just keep on buying and encourage small fish to buy too.

It could see a boost for the reason you have mentioned but at this time we are seeing ant pumps and prices are fluctuating with the same range so not expecting it to go high within this month as we have only 4-5 days left but will see who wins the prediction contest at what price

I believe bitcoin doesn't need even a whole day to reach that mark of $18k, An hour with alot of buys and very limited sells could see bitcoin skyrocket above that price, but then, there has to be a catalyst or good reason for this to happen, and this I don't see right now... Unfortunately.

Maybe it will happen only if there's something good to anticipate with which can make people get excited to accumulate, but if there's no news maybe it will remain like this where bitcoin got only small pumps and dumps. the bitcoin price will tend to stabilize below $17k until early next year before the price spike occurs because 2023 is the year that the recovery period occurs before the following year goes into the bitcoin halving time, I think the cycle is still working and this year is an opportunity for people to buy lots of bitcoins and cryptos
