if I become you and really have 10btc, of course I would prefer to hold the bitcoin instead of selling it and make another altcoin, because bitcoin is now in the recovery phase, and you can see the market crypto now

If you are going to use your 10 BTC to invest in another cryptocurrency so I think you should take a look at NEO, ETH, XLM, EOS  . I think with 10 BTC you can split enough to all these cryptocurrencies and you should know that these are the best altcoins at the moment so you should only invest in these altcoins. Don't try to invest all your 10 BTC in only one cryptocurrency cause it's really risky  |

My pick is Neo, it is currently at $30 to $31 and all time high was around $190 on 15 Jan 2018.
I believe you can easily see 5 times returns in Neo.

This is a good idea, because altcoins always have more opportunities to make money, but if you now look at what altcoins are starting to pump, then you will realize that they are doing it chaotically and nobody will ever be able to tell when this or that project will be pumped.

I'd recommend not to look on ready-projects, but search for a really promising ICO with such a sum, maybe you snipe tokens after ICO at exchanges...just monitor upcoming things and check ratings.

10 BTC is good investment. Personally if I have 10 BTC I will buy top-20 altcoins for 5 BTC, separately 1 BTC for ETH and 4 BTC as BTC investment

Many understand that investment in the crypto currency has great prospects. Especially against the backdrop of possible rate growth over the past year.
True, there are some caveats on this issue.
Prospects for investment in Bitcoin and other altcoins in the long run look good. But, we must understand that if they showed a multiple increase in value over the past year, this does not mean that we should expect the same increase in the next 12 months.

At the moment I don't think it's a good move cause price of BTC is rising back so why don't you just hold all of your BTC and wait till BTC reach to a new ATH price? But if you still want to invest in altcoin so I think you can choose any altcoin in top 10 on Coinmarketcap to invest in cause all altcoins in top 10 on Coinmarketcap have very good potential in the future, especially ETH is the only cryptocurrency has chance to become the next BTC in the future |

10 BTC seems like so many for an investment ,specially with Altcoins.
Why you don't just hold some main coins like BTC and ETH in a long time for a sure profits?

Even with the recent BTC decline, 10BTC is still a quite large investment, unless you are one of those whales out there. Although diversifying is a good habit, I'm not sure doing it in a bear market is the best approach. Simply because alts tend to decline a lot more than BTC, so maybe you should keep more BTC for now, and then diversify when we "are sure" that the trend is changing.

Well, this is a risky and hasty decision for you (OP ), because the profit in altcoins is not ensured like Bitcoin, and due to there is a ton of shitcoins on the market, then it is hard to achieve what you want (Big financial profit ) through those coins. IMO I advise you keep the majority of your budget in BItcoin ( 70%) and the other value (30% ) in the other best cryptocurrnecy ( who exist on the TOP 20 ) and of course the best examples of that is Ethereum, Ripple, Cardano, Litecoin and Tron .
In addition to that, you must understand that Bitcoin is the future of cryptocurrency (not the Altcoins), and the other crypto are just the followers of the king BTC in every evolution. Furthermore, believe me dude, if you stay hasty in taking decisions, then there is a great possibility that you will lose all your money. Use your mind.

I'm not sure that this is a very good idea. After all, the market has not yet turned around and we are in a downward channel. I keep my capital in fiat money.
I very much agree. Its probably not a smart move to move out of Bitcoin at this time as this may come to a very high loss in the future. The best, would be to get some altcoins whilst still renaming with BTC. |

Taking into account how much the cryptocurrency market has now dropped, you can invest in almost any coin and within a year or two it will bring you a five-fold profit. But still I think it's worth investing in coins such as Ethereum, EOS, ADA, OMG, Ripple, Waves.

If I had 10 Bitcoins, I would do nothing except waiting. Although there are a lot of coins which have greater growth potential than bitcoin, I think the bitcoin has always the biggest potential to be the real winner.

I think you must invest in any altcoin from this list:
1. Bitcoin
2. Eth
3. NEO
4. Stellar
5. Lisk
6. EOS
7. Steem
8. BitShares
9. Ripple
10. Qtum
These altcoins has mid risk. I would recommended get attention to NEO and his altcoins like thekey, deepbrain, ziliq.

The prices in the market are not stable and I would suggest you do not rush, buy the alt coins gradually. You have a good investment amount, with the right approach, you can easily increase it.
