when I read this story I immediately laughed because the cause of the deceived authors is his own folly as well as he can not distinguish official social media accounts from unofficial ones. |

Before giving advice to you, I am sorry for your incident against SCAMMER.
I hope to be more careful about Bounty Thread or ICO who does not have strong team or who does not have perfect whitepaper and website, because every SCAMMER is always everywhere.
That's why we should be cautious and spend ample of time to see if that certain project is legit or just wanting to get money from you without any returns. It could a big help also to avoid from being scammed is not to trust someone with unknown identity. |

Sometimes we come to a point that we tend to overlook some basic security measures which is why we get into this kind of situation. We know we are smart but there are times that we make stupid decisions without thinking. That is why I believe that being a little paranoid is not bad since it triggers our skepticism making us to look into things before diving in. So yeah, be vigilant and a little paranoid just to be sure. |

The scammers are everywhere.I think that is one of the reasons why people fear cryprocurrency so much.I almost got scammed too when I was trying to sell my XYO token at IDEX.My ETH was low for gas so for 24hours I could not make a deposit so I decided to contact support .The scammer pretending to be the idex support told me to send 0.3eth to a certain address to power a bot there to unlock my waller because it was locked. My friends advised me and I was not able to be scammed.

That is terrible. Unfortunately it‘s getting worse and worse with scammers nowadays and I believe they are one big reason why people walk away from crypto. Was this your first ICO? Can you share the real and fake telegram here so others don‘t fall into the same trap? |
