Hi All To improve the security of software code, we announce the launch of Bug Bounty. Find a critical bug (vulnerability) and get 100 000 TERA for each. Bug should be reported confidentially to progr76@gmail.com or telegram @progr76 Nice movement. I will donate 1000 TERA if bugs found.

We're launching a public discussion of TERA sharding in telegram channel: @TeraLab. The terafoundation project has developed a new theory of sharding, it allows you to create unlimited scalability of the blockchain without compromising security or decentralization. The number of transactions can be more than a million, and the number of node-block producers reach a billion. http://terafoundation.org/files/TeraSharding-ENG.pdfWe ask you to Express your reasoned opinion on this matter. The most reasoned and useful opinion for the project will be awarded in the amount of 100 000 TERA. The results will be summed up on November 8, 2019.

Interim results of the bug bounty campaignThe terafoundation project is a decentralized blockchain that manages users ' digital assets, so security comes first for us. We would like to thank the GeekHack team ( https://t.me/GeekHack) for the code audit. All found vulnerabilities were promptly fixed. We remind you that the bug-hunter program pays 100 000 Tera for critical vulnerabilities that lead to the theft of money from the wallet or stop the network. The campaign is held indefinitely - until complete victory over all bugs.

Is TERA not planning a classic bounty? With a signature, Twitter, Facebook and so on.
Seems no need, these promotions more suitable for ICO projects.

Seems no need, these promotions more suitable for ICO projects. Absolutely not a fact. Holding a bounty is a classic tool for crypto projects. spoken like a man who is trying to acquire some free funds. Might i ask where you expect them to get this free funds for your classic tool, if they didn't have an ico

Doesn't TERA PLATFORM have a dedicated marketing fund? I think this fund can sponsor the bounty. am sure they rather spend that fund on real marketing that will actually have a positive impact on the future on the coin. Not on a bunch of hustlers trying to acquire free funds to dump. Most bounty hunters are just leeches with zero interest in the project. If you truly a fan, then head over to the exchange and purchase it like every other fan.

Since the moment of my last visit, TERA has a lot of positive news! The main thing is the creation of the Sharding network! I hope the team manages to launch the first splinter before the end of this year!
It is also very important that TERA has its own decentralized hosting. Waiting for me to add support for .tera domain names

OK, it looks that I have successfully started the node, it's web interface and teh mining process. What are the best settings to mine on my local Ryzen 7 3800X CPU? Should I limit threads quantity to 8 if I have only 16 GB of RAM? Should I specify the exact SIZE_MINING_MEMORY by myself? Real RAM consumption is always about 9 GB, no matter whether I specify the values or leave all at default values. How can I see my real hashrate? Sorry for too much questions, but there are too few clear and comprehensive HOWTOs on mining this coin...

I guess all such things I was asking about should be stated in manuals very long ago. Looks like the project is dead, or at list lack of professional developers and community managers. Lack of everything.

managers are definitely not enough you shoud have about 2.5 Gb of RAM per core for more effective mining (it's an old information but i don't think that something has changed since) so for your ryzen you must have 2.5*(8-1)=17.5 Gb of available RAM (or 20 Gb if you will set 8 cores unlike default settings) if you have less available RAM then divide it on 2.5 and you will get optimal number of cores (but less than 4 doesn't make sense i think)

The TERA coin has unique technology and huge potential. But of course this project lacks community activity. There are no activists. There is no information about the project anywhere. Very few people know about Tere. This problem needs to be solved otherwise the project will remain an unknown startup.

Jinn, the core protocol of TERA2.0, is on the way. Jinn is a new core, it can be used on different blockchain consensus, The main feature of the kernel: - fast sync speed - extremely low traffic. - the ability of the network to automatically synchronize after unsynchronization, for example if the connection between continents falls off... https://gitlab.com/terafoundation/tera2/tree/master/Source/jinn/src

JINN-lib demo: https://terafoundation.org/JINN/model/model.htmlJINN is a universal js library that can run in any environment. Interaction with the external environment is carried out through external tuning layers. This allows you to simulate a network of nodes. Above is an example of modeling an environment that runs in a browser and consists of an arbitrary number of nodes and an arbitrary number of transactions in each block... The model can be run in nodejs mode In this case, additional modules will be used, which for example compress traffic, in this case, the total traffic is significantly reduced (from 4Kb per second for a single transaction in the network, to 1.5 KB per second) The model allows you to simulate the separation of chains-tick Split. Pressing and unclenching these ticks we can achieve the division of the chain into two sections, and then measure the time it took the network to achieve consensus.

vtoolsLast Wednesday at 9:25 PM @everyone Hello, everyone. Work on TERA was carried out continuously during 2019, we have done a lot during this time, but also there is still much left. I ask you to create a list of task that you would like us to implement in 2020. Also communicate whether you would like these task to be worked on by volunteers or if this work should be paid. In the case of a paid task, we will make a list of tasks that need to be performed, taking into account time and cost. For each task, we will define a BTC wallet address for fundraising. If the fundraising is successful, we will begin to implement such a feature. Filled here: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1DD8EDyKLvlYSHP6N6mRfo0CmkIvE-snSb-Ncdq9dKGw/edit?usp=sharing
