Welcome to the planet.

so this coin is launching in 56 mins right? I dont quite get utc time.

The earth is a sphere, it's turning. Whenever the sun (our local star) is at its highest point during the day, the people call it noon. Very often that is close to 12 o'clock lunchtime. But as the earth is turning, the sun is in that noon spot at a different absolute time for each spot. As there is no absolute spot on the round earth, people invented one ... and because back then the empire wasn't the US but the UK, they placed in in Greenwich, England, which is an island on the fringe of Europe (that peninsula in the West of the Asian continent).  They called it GMT "Greenwich Mean Time", and probably that newer empire later renamed it to "Coordinated Universal Time (UTC)" http://www.timeanddate.com/time/aboututc.html

Depending on how many hours earlier your noon happens, you get so many "+" for your timezone. e.g. UTC+4 is Moscow = 4 hours earlier noon than Greenwich.
Depending on how many hours later your noon happens, you get so many "-" for your timezone. e.g. UTC-11 is Samoa = 11 hours later noon than Greenwich.

All US timezones have a minus because the US noon happens after the European noon.

Ever wondered about the new years eve champaign kling klang moments around the planet? Same same.
Someone in Moscow is in the new year fifteen hours earlier than someone from the birthplace of this coin.

Find out in which timezone you live: http://www.timeanddate.com/library/abbreviations/timezones/eu/

if it is e.g. UTC + 4 hours and you want to
translate to UTC - 11 hours, then you know ...

... they have their noon
+4 - - 11 = + 4 + 11 = 15 hours later than you have your noon.

Or their midnight, in this case.

man, if more people are gonna invest, we will end up terribly and Im sure they will.
you Stackcoin guys shouldnt show up that cool looking wallet, it is contra - productive right now.
You shoul do it after IPO, so it would be attractive for new people to buy it at exchange.
It is possible that your community wil consist mainly of frustrated people.

I am just thinking, there is one more option - close stage 2 now.
open stage 3, for the last 12 hours.

studying duckduckcoin when investing into stackcoin might make sense.

The coin is only 11 days old, but already deserted.

mainduck (the "Stack-Coin" of the duckduckcoin thread) has not posted for three days, not in his own thread, nowhere. They took in almost 100 BTC in their IPO (but they offered much more % of their currency for it than stackcoin). Where are they?

Noone is taking care of duckduckcoin,
apart from some 65 megahash/s of miners.
When those switch off, too, the coin becomes unsafe
- but actually profitable to mine again :-)
That might turn the fate ??
At the moment mining duckduckcoin is about as profitable as coinyecoin. Very low Satoshi price, but also ridiculously low difficulty.

The BUY price of duckduckcoin right now is at 4.571
https://cryptorush.in/index.php?p=trading&m=DUCK&b=BTC

the IPO price was at  95.52381955 / 20.57 = 4.64

So an IPO holder can sell now his duck worth 1.06384032 BTC (because that much is offered at a price of 4.571)
and make  1.5% profit.  Everyone else after him will make less.

Where's the similarities, where's the differences?

Thanks for this, as I was interested in participating in the second IPO, but now having second thoughts.

Especially seeing how 'MsCollec' seems to have been ironically pushing both coins very hard...seems like more than just irony at this point.
