This is true. Many people want to raise money, and their project will not be released when the stock exchange. The choice of ICO should be approached very responsibly
That's right, there's more risk to ICO's rather than from those established coins, platforms and products but it doesn't mean they don't have any as there are tons of established cryptocurrency that turned out to be a scam or dead, advantage from ICO is that you can become the early adopters of their tokens and a huge possible income if the campaign is legit and successful and that is pretty hard to find these days there's so many of them.

Currently on the coinmarketcap site only about 1590 projects compared to at times more than 1700 projects. They have left many projects without developers or scam projects. I personally invested in some of these projects and lost a lot of money like bitconect and centra. Do you trust the projects you are investing in and will keep them for a long time until they succeed or are they just looking for profit in the short term?

It is not surprising that many projects have died already and there will be more to come. One thing I learned is that not all those listed on coinmarketcap are legit. Many were just hyped.

The best way to invest is to check and verify. Learn the team, product and market, which the project is trying to get out. Where it is more reliable, if the team has been working for a long time and has experience in its field.

Obviously, most of those projects that are now represented on the coinmarketcap will disappear within the next couple of years. Unfortunately, most projects, contrary to the statements, can not or do not want to realize their idea, because of what naturally die over time

I'm familiar with the coin of the centra and I took part in their bounty, but fortunately I was lucky to sell their coins before they took all the money and became scammers, but as far as I heard they were detained by the police!

It is the law of life and only the strongest projects survive!!
Personally, I trust the projects in which I invest money and I hope to obtain benefits in the future by holding them for longer. In spite of everything and with the increase of all these and so many new projects every day, it seems impossible to be 100% sure that this or that project in which you invest, succeeds because there is a lot of competition. You have to be very cautious and only invest after having informed you a lot and be totally convinced of what you do.

People are inventing new coins. But, many of them are of no use. So, rather than creating a useless one, people should concentrate on bringing new coins which have potentials and good features.

Creators of projects copy any promising project and create their own, not understanding the little things, which are not small. And at some stage of creation they understand that their project can no longer exist and throw it. And there are many such projects.

There are actually a lot of coins in the market today that is dead because not every platform is a good project and was good for long term investment so you should always look at the white paper before investing a huge amount.

I personally if the project does not have a good development I will leave. I often encounter things like this and it's annoying. but, do not despair. there are many other good projects as long as we are more careful and study them first.

Recently, a large number of mensennikov has become active. Accordingly, their projects and die immediately after the collection of money.
Projects that did not take place for reasons independent of fraud are very few.

Most of these projects started in 2017 and still don't a ready product.
This means that the project team is not very much eager to put their efforts in it anymore, so yes, regrettably, most of them will die by the end of 2018 with the tokens being listed off the exchanges.

I lost money in Centra as well. I prefer mining/staking over ICOs and over the last year I have seen lots of the coins I used to mine are dead or nearly dead. Also some of those projects were not even listed on coinmarketcap. I only trust handful of projects.

Not surprised. Many of the projects were DOA... they weren't even real coins to begin with, just meme coins and copycats trying to cash out real quick.

It is normal that there is so much scam. One team that got in fraud can close the project(just left it selling remaining coins) and go to make another one. Thats why scam is always there - same people doing same things.
Just find something that you trust, something that is more than usual token - and you will get good in distance

a dead project because the team of the project may be misstep in making a decision for the future. and in the end they are not interested in their coins and eventually die.

I hope that a project can develop rapidly, if it is not a scam, of course. All you need is time and patience. I believe in projects.

I honestly think most ICOs are complete scams. Half of them have websites that look like they were designed by teenagers and only do a "rebrand" when they get funding to hire actual developers.

So many ICOs. Surely not all of them are going to be successful. From this information we should learn that you have to investigate well before investing on any ICO.

Actually nowadays it is too difficult to find any good ICO. Even from "top" ICOs there are many scammers. I think the short pause would be not bad idea.
