https://github.com/rubycoinorg/traderdaddy/releases/download/v0.0.2/traderdaddy-v0.0.2-osx.zip

OSX users can give it a try using the link above. Windows and Linux version will be ready in a bit. You will need 25,000 Rubycoin in your Bittrex account for it to work.

Getting Started
  • Set Bittrex API Key and API Secret
  • Select Market Pairs
  • Configure "Risk Tolerance"
  • Configure "Budget"
  • Turn ON

This release is a proof of concept, it only works on Bittrex at the moment. If you exit the software (or it crashes) while the bot is running, make sure to turn it OFF then ON again. There are bugs in this proof of concept release, including one that can cause more than your budget to be placed on buy walls. It's not "production ready" yet but these problems will be ironed out.

Coins are ready, waiting for the windows release.

Tention is getting higher  Wink

Question: I had 25k RBY in my account when I started TraderDaddy, but I had the RBY market selected and it made some trades and now my balance dropped just below and is now like 24.5K. Will TraderDaddy continue to work in this scenario? Maybe there should be a check so that it won't allow the RBY balance to drop below the limit for use.

i just updated to 0.0.6 today after i got home from work. 2 hours later of running traderdaddy i am already up 0.02btc. its not alot to some people but those of us with a small amount of btc to start off with that is a huge increase in profit.

if you do not have traderdaddy yet i would suggest getting it and giving it a try.

as they say "you never know what will happen if you dont try"

Here is my brief review of TraderDaddy version 6

I am running the on Ubuntu and have been running wallet most of today. About 9+ hours. I set my risk tolerance to Flexible and have utilized .04 BTC for trades on the market.
In the last 9 hours I was gone, I returned home very eager to see how the app had worked.
To tell you the truth I was expecting to come back and see my BTC balance mostly deleted and a wallet with twice the amount of coins I had before.

But what REALLY happened.......

I got back and noticed my wallet balances were pretty close to where they were when I left, but looked at my BTC balance and it had risen by almost .2 BTC in 9 hours!

Very happy with the direction TraderDaddy is going. I am looking forward to Juggernaut and Magneto which I believe will give more options and control for the bot.

Very happy Ruby Dev! You the man! Thank you soon much! I look forward to seeing how well this app works long term.

Started to use the bot yesterday and as I checked my balance today I'm up ~20%.
~20% profit for one day is quite neat. Good job. Cheesy

So far it's been working well for me, I'm also on the flexible setting.

How are you all deciding what markets to trade in? And how many are you trading in at once? Are you all having better results selecting a bunch of markets to trade in, or only a couple?

This thing “TraderDaddy” is fantastic.  Since 3/18, I’m up 28% to 32% depending on trades taking place.  Sound too good to be true? I thought so too and I’m probably one of the most skeptical people you will ever meet.  There were a few issues getting to v0.0.6 but, it’s like the dev never sleeps.  He sent a number of interim releases to a few of us as we found the issues and he corrected them within hours, once within minutes.

Being skeptical, I started with the required 25K Ruby, 100K of a coin trading at 205sats and .2BTC so I had a total initial balance of .69BTC.  As I was watching the bot and my wallet balance, I was comfortable enough to put another .257BTC along with .0007BTC of another coin in the pot, so I have deposited a total of .95BTC.  My wallet balance a few minutes ago was 1.298BTC (a gain of .348BTC).  In addition to being a skeptic, I’m also fairly new to trading on the exchanges.  My routine was mine ‘em, maybe hold ‘em for a bit, sell ‘em to pay my electric.  This little baby lets a noob like me trade pretty accurately.

I’ve had Ruby since near the beginning and have always had tons of faith in the coin and the dev.  Of all the coins I mined during the last year, Ruby is the one I held on to because we knew the trading bot was in the making and the model the dev chose was available balances in your trading account…. Didn’t want to be in the position of not have the Ruby when the bot was released.

I'm telling you, if you want to trade and not worry about placing the orders and checking the spreads, this thing is the way to go.  It doesn’t cost you anything, your 25K Ruby stay in your account unless you decide to trade in the RBY market (not a bad idea at all) and even then, it only increases as the bot won’t take you below the minimum 25K to use it.  That’s a great way to get to the next bot levels; Juggernaut and Magneto at 50K and 100K.  And all the while your Ruby will grow in value.

My experience after 12 hours of running TradderDaddy.

Intitial Setup
  • MAC OS X Yosemite 10.10.2
  • TradderDaddy v0.0.6
  • I had 43,000 RBY in my Bittrex wallet
  • In the bot settings I activated the RBY/BTC pair along with another 2 other pairs which I have 1 million coins trading in the ~50 sats and another 200k trading at ~60sats.
  • TraderDaddy setting on "Cautious (low)"
  • 0.09 BTC available with budget set at 0.09 BTC
  • Total Account value at start: 1.715 BTC

Currently
  • My Ruby balance has decreased by 71% to ~12,500 (I do have about 15k RBY in open orders that were set before I started the bot)
  • My other 2 coin balances have decreased by ~3% and ~46% respectively.
  • 170 sell transactions amounting to 1.14 BTC
  • 83 buy transactions amounting to 0.647 BTC
  • 0.43 BTC available
  • Total Account value: 1.613 BTC (decrease of ~5%)

I don't know how to interpret these results but I'm hoping the dev can use this data to help improve the bot. I don't know if the open orders that I had before starting the bot plays a role in the performance.

Hope this helps.

My experience after 12 hours of running TradderDaddy.

Thanks for posting this information. I encourage everyone to share their experience in detail so I can use the information to make improvements.

I'm thinking your existing open orders, which are not tracked or adjusted, caused the poor performance. TraderDaddy stops working when your Rubycoin balance goes below 25,000 – normally it wouldn't let you drop below this amount, but a manually placed order could bring you below the limit.

Low satoshi markets may not be ideal for trading because the price is stacked up between two big walls. If the price goes down by even one satoshi, you get stuck trying to break even. If it goes down another satoshi, you're selling at a loss. The bot works best when it has room to adjust.

Thanks for the quick reply. Do you think if I remove the manual orders and restart the bot, it will perform better?

Rby, could you elaborate on how selecting different risk levels affects the performance of TraderDaddy?

Out of curiosity is the bot properly putting buy orders up?

I only ask cause I was on TraderDaddy with my MacOSX Yosemite 10.10.2 and for some reason I could only get sell orders to post. No buy orders were going up. Because of the trouble I was having with the Mac version I installed the Linux version on a separate machine. Now it runs properly and posts orders to both walls.
From what you said it sounds like you were having the same trouble I was.
Check to make sure orders are being placed on both walls.

Yes, I would also avoid low satoshi markets. The risk/reward isn't worth it because their volume on Bittrex is too low.

How do you define low satoshi markets? Less than 100 sats? Less than 1000?

All the bot is doing for me is selling the ruby that is in the wallet with it. I started off with just Ruby and BTC... Does the bot know how to buy alts or does it just have to start with alts already in the account?
