They just want to cheat for more bounties.
And this pool is likely trap. We mine the Appcoin last night in this pool for a long time with a lot of share and got 0 paid.
The pool owner explained this as DDos attack.+1 No paid for AppCoin |

If you click the http://itsalmo.st/#rubycoinlaunch link in the OP, it says it doesn't start for another 3.5 hours...... This has changed from earlier in the day, I even set an alarm for it on my phone, what a crock of sh*t. |
