Founded in 2017 by a group of enthusiasts united around the common idea of cryptography and decentralization, we started researching and developing new types of secure encryption technology. The idea of RNG Coin evolved from our belief in the need for secure Random Numbers Generation to underpin a host of everyday uses.

Block Hash Method:

Blockchain provides unpredictable hash numbers. If the miner finds that the value of the bet is much higher than the block reward, they may discard the block, rather than choosing to mine on it. Currently RNG Coin is POW minable coin, which has the same structure like old school coins like Bitcoin, Litecoin etc..
Such architecture has no protection against double-spending attacks also known as Sybil attack. According our Roadmap we are planing to integrate Hybrid POS algorithm to protect our coin from the such attacks. We have two options:
1. Make a snapshot of current RNG blockchain and integrate it into the new coin, with integrated Hybrid POS. Which means we are making a fork of RNG Coin
2. Make a genesis block and begin the new chain of coin from zero with 10% of premine

We've decided to choose number two, which means - after the integration of Hybrid POS algorithm we are making a 10% premine and running the RNG Coin from new genesis block. So the participators of Fatum ICO going to purchase new type of coin and current RNG Coin isn't involved into crowdsale.
So what gonna happen with current RNG Coin? We've decided to change the name to RNGC (RNG Coin Classic) and list it into the two exchanges. It will be fair decisions and all current miners will able to trade the coin into the exchanges. The date of listing RNGC is around late September, early October.

Just started mining this coin few days ago with my pool. Was directed over here to post a few questions but after reading these threads have to say its kinda concerning.

My first question is price; Ive searched high n low cant find anything anywhere on value. If search the ticker (RNG) comes up as a different company. Is there no exchanges, not recognized, never been traded, ect.  Dnt understand the pre-mine requirements if some of the coins werent going to set the price.

2nd question is POS/Minting/Staking. I understand concept; use coins to mint blocks. What dont understand is what needs to be done to Mint. Is it automatic? Or do you have to setup something for it. This is all been unclear.

3rd is trying to understand prior history; what is with the bad feedback about dev's and say coins were lost?

This can actually be a decent project if supported by the community. Could use more PoW miners and more volume on Stex.io until more listings come along. The price is currently at least 25% lower and thus profits are 25%+ less than one would earn mining BTC. It should be worth 4 to 5 satoshi if the mining hash power was worth the around same as BTC or DGB. Proof of stake is going to begin fairly soon, so it's a great time to get in early and hold on until it's price has gone up to something a little more reasonable... either by mining or buying considering the price is currently lower than it costs to mine. Difficulty will only increase as time goes on; according to the explorer, overall hashrate has been slowly but steadily increasing along with difficulty. Number of used addresses has also been increasing pretty consistently along with the number of unused addresses. The number of transactions tend to vary wildly per day as the brand new exchange listing (and coin re-launch) gains traction. Luckily, Stex does have quite a bit of volume available to it on the exchange ... it likely just needs some time. As difficulties increase, it will only drive the price up because the cost of mining it goes up just like with BTC.

1. Algorithm has been changed for the coin protection, because of security purposes. Some coins like Ethereum Classic, Vertcoin, Bitcoin Gold and many other has been faced the Sybil attack aka 51% attack. We decide to integrate hybrid algorithm for the security purposes. It's not because of miners or something else.

2. Old Rng Coin has been a part of Fatum ico, part of first stage sales and one of the most important part of gambling structure. Fatum ico has been failed and project has been closed. Old RNG Coin has been closed with Fatum because the ICO was unsuccessful. Again it was not our fault, 2018 was unlucky for many ICO's not only for us. For example if you bought a tokens from ICO which has been bankrupted or failed the value of such tokens becomes about 0.00$. The same situation with old RNG Coin.
