Tried to do some trading on bittrex again today.

Sell 150 XRP at 8100 to buy back at 7800.

Sell went fine but when it tried to put a buy order i get the same old problem with minimums.

Trying to buy at full price went fine. So i ended up depositing 150 XRP and pull 148 out. A clear rip off.

Swing traders. Go to Binance. Only problem there is ridiculous high withdrawal fees..

I am looking forward to see where the hurdle is placed when decentralized trading becomes the standard.

Bancor.network charged me 8 dollars for conversion earlier today. That one was also no gain. But tried out now.

bittrex is shutting down ~ we are using small web-of-trust exchanges like ===>https://freiexchange.com/market/BTI/BTC
~also exited about distributed exchanges integration with ultra-secured wallets Wink stay tuned~~~BTC<3

Update on the tron/bittrex thingie
https://support.bittrex.com/hc/en-us/articles/360003105592-Support-for-the-TRON-TRX-blockchain-upgrade

Swap is done 20/6-2018. (In the future)

Withdrawal fee today is 1 TRX. (That is fair price for you). Hopefully that one tron will go to the moon so one has something to bitch about again. This is the part where you have to rely on your fellow man.

Congratz on the main net launch. Justin and Co. We are all very proud of you.

I saw today that bittrex has started to add USD market in the eschange but it added only three coins in there one is bitcoin, other is TUSD and third is USDT. Can I know that why they not added the ethereum to that market? I think they have to add ethereum too as many of the people are also doing trade in ethereum and they need any place where they can do trade of ETH with USD.

What the heck is going on Bittrex? The BTG wallett is in "automated maintenance" since Saturday? They are sitting on my and other people's coins.  Angry Angry Angry
Still the same. And the support is not doing anything, except closing all related tickets without any meaningful work.
If this is not solved in the next coming days, we are going to start serious legal actions (debt collection, company liquidation etc.) against Bittrex Inc.
Until that, we will derate Bittrex on all crypto and scam-review sites.

Bittrex now uses their facebook page? I thought you won't already because I once complained my issues there but completely ignored it.
But I have read your news, its good to have finally got USD there.  I might start using your exchange again. My suggestion is that you try to let us convert the small amounts just like how Binance work.

Is anyone organising legal action over all the frozen accounts and stolen funds? Seems a case that would easily be won!

they were so good about choosing the users they scammed. for example they didn't scam someone from US or other countries that could do something about it. instead they chose people from certain countries that they were sure they couldn't do anything about it! the countries such as Crimea, Iran, Cuba, North Korea, and Syria according to their announcement which came months after they pulled the scam.
while bittrex was saying they accept users from these countries they suddenly closed all their accounts overnight and stole their funds!

The said that this (fiat) option will at first be available only to corporate customers, so no for private buyers yet.

It seems only a matter of time that Bittrex will also open ETH / USD. Let's wait for his announcement.
And it seems that this will have an effect on altcoin if the Bitcoin price goes down then they will sell their altcoin and turn it on fiat. I am sure the market will be more bloody.

Yeah, add DNR! That would be 10/10 good for the exchange itself too.

Yeah, add DNR! That would be 10/10 good for the exchange itself too.

With some of the recent Love and Hate posts lately, the best thing Bittrex could do would be to add a reputable coin with a great future, like DNR.  It would also bring in a different community of users to Bittrex, benefiting all coins traded on Bittrex.

I for one would LOVE to have a DNR/USD pairing, and I'm pretty sure I'd be mostly buying DNR for the next 6 months ;-)

A year ago trex was at the top, now other exchange came in with major volume and adding a bunch of trash, yet finally added ZEN showing they are looking at POW coins too, finally. Why not differentiate yourselves by adding POW coins, like DNR and XSH?

Bittrex Exchange Partners with New York Bank to Launch USD Fiat Trading

Seattle-based cryptocurrency exchange Bittrex declared it has partnered with New York's Signature Bank that would enable clients to
trade cryptocurrencies in USD, as per a report by Bloomberg.

This partnership empowers Bittrex, which was restricted to directing trades only among cryptocurrencies, to now offer Bitcoin, Tether
and TrueUSD trading pairs to clients in Washington, California, New York and Montana.

Bittrex, which positions as the world's eighteenth biggest cryptocurrency exchange and moves a day by day volume of roughly $100 mln,
has now turned out to be one of the only few platforms to support fiat-to-crypto trading.

Bill Shihara, CEO of Bittrex, told Bloomberg in a meeting:

“It’s been a long path. It’s not just about banks being able to trust Bittrex. It’s about banks being able to trust crypto in general. And I think
it’s really showing that crypto is turning the corner in terms of mainstream acceptance.”

Cool. Crypto is slowly becoming more acceptable by banks and hopefully more governments will start to acknowledge the usefulness of crypto currencies. On the other hand, I only hope that bittrex volume won't concentrate on fiat as I would rather see a good altcoins to btc/eth volume.
