-Listing of Decision Token (HST)
-Listing of Fusion (FSN)
-Support of Metadium (META) token swap
-Addition of USDT-GRIN market pair
-Listing of Metadium (META)
-Listing of GRIN
-Listing of Serve (SERV)

Why not use services without registration? This will help protect your data and funds since you do not store them in your account, and in addition, you do not need to go through KYC. You can use Changenow or Coinswitch for example.

Received an e-mail from Bittrex, system maintenance on February 27:

Quote
....We are making this upgrade to continuously meet the growing demand and interest from current and new digital asset customers around the world.

Below, you’ll find everything you need to know regarding changes to our platform during the update which starts at 21:00 UTC on February 27th.

What can Bittrex customers expect during the planned upgrade?

Bittrex.com and International.Bittrex.com will remain online, customers will continue to be able to login and check their balances and customer assets will remain secure throughout the upgrade.
Wallets will be unavailable for up to 24 hours beginning at 21:00 UTC on Wednesday February 27th; deposits and withdrawals will be disabled until wallets are back online.
All markets will be offline and trading will be suspended for up to three hours beginning approximately at 22:00 UTC.
During the update any partially filled orders will be cancelled. All other open orders will remain on the order books.
Follow our social media channels for real-time updates on the day of the update.

What benefits will users notice once the update is complete?

Once the update is completed Bittrex and Bittrex International users will enjoy noticeably faster orderbook updates and overall order execution. The updated site will have the capacity to execute even more orders per second. In fact, after the upgrade, your orders will be processed at a rate 20 times faster than before.

Will there be any additional improvements from the update?

The update is paving the way for a collection of exciting features that will be rolled out on Bittrex and Bittrex International throughout 2019. Some of these features will include:

Maker-Taker and other features for liquidity providers and high-volume traders
New ways to add fiat to your accounts
Account management improvements (access to full transaction history, account statements, and more)
New order types and options, including Market Orders
More Flexible Conditional Orders which will eliminate the need for reserve funds when making conditional orders, allowing traders more flexibility without tying up money in conditional trades. (NOTE: Conditional Orders will be disabled until this updated functionality goes live)
And, much more - so stay tuned!

Will any features be disabled after the update and what happens to open orders during the upgrade?

As stated above, Conditional Order types will be temporarily disabled on the Bittrex and Bittrex International platforms. Keep watching for an announcement on our blog and on our verified social media channels for updates about when this feature will be re-enabled.
....
Finally, partially filled orders will be cancelled when we take the markets offline for the upgrade. Specifically, customers with existing, partially-filled open orders will have the remainder of their unfilled orders cancelled during the update, which starts on February 27th at 21:00 UTC. Please note the time and date of the update and take appropriate measures to complete or cancel orders prior to the markets going offline for the upgrade.

I've not received any such e-mail from Bittrex, and there's no information/update available (on any of the official social media channels of Bittrex) regarding any sort of desktop application (of Bittrex). I'd recommend you to ignore that e-mail!

this is what i have been saying for the past year when they asked me for my personal info..theres something not right about this exchange anymore ~ just connect the dots to cryptopia and it will become clear !  Roll Eyes  i want my coins back now !!!

It was only a matter of time before they would actually starts asking for verification, Bittrex international is obviously under EU law so no surprises there.

Giving your personal details is not a good idea but we talk about the big crypto exchange that has rules by regulators. I passed their KYC less than 15 mins but it looks like some people still have a problem with their management.

KYC is a tedious process that the DEXes don't have, so why stick with Bittrex, Coinbase & co ?

Many people have trouble even completing it and lose their coins for that, which is a shame : https://steemit.com/bittrex/@billynoe79/bittrex-kyc-policy

I've had enough of these "regulations".

I think I'll give a try to Waves DEX , 0x and other DEXes

Is 0x a DEX for ETH-based tokens only?
Are there any other good DEXes?

After failing for its first IEO, Bittrex will try again on April 2nd :

https://coinvize.com/altcoins/bittrex-after-failing-its-first-ieo-second-attempt-coming-on-april-2nd/

"The project to be presented is VeriBlock, a block-chain startup working on the development of the proof-of-proof protocol, which is claimed to add an additional layer of security to existing block chains such as Bitcoin.

However, Bittrex notes that its CEO Bill Shihara is an advisor to VeriBlock, while its company also holds a minority stake in affiliate sponsor VeriBlock. For these reasons, Bittrex will indirectly benefit from the successful completion of the IEO.
...
Each VBK coin is offered for approximately $0.10 (subject to change), while users have limited their orders to a minimum of $10 turnover and a maximum of $20,000. Orders in excess of this amount would have to pass through the OTC counter of the Exchange and would be subject to the rules governing such transactions."

Try:

-pinging them through their live chat
-pinging them through their official Twitter handle (mentioning)
-creating another ticket asking for a reply to the original one

Bittrex doesn't provide any support here at Bitcointalk forums - so it's useless to post here about your ticket.

How about them f*cking everyone over with random KYC policy implementations no one had ever heard about right up until the moment they were suddenly implemented? I guess everyone already forgot about that.

(Yes this is from the /r/btc subreddit, i know, https://www.reddit.com/r/btc/comments/77t1d2/bittrex_extortionist_tactics_should_you_refuse_to/ but it shows how scummy they were.)

No one should ever use this exchange, ever.
