Just another question about their 100 BTC withdrawals limit, is there a monthly cap? 100 BTC per day could add up to 3100 BTC a month which currently equate to over $16 million a month in FIAT withdrawals. Do they cap monthly withdrawls to 500 BTC or 800 BTC etc?
No, I've just confirmed it. There's no monthly cap; they are literally allowing up to 3100 BTC a month of withdrawals for each verified account! From what I can see, newbies accounts are regularly being created for the sole purpose to attack Bittrex. I am unsure what the exact motive the perpetrators have for doing it but I hope they stop.
I am really impressed with Bittrex directly because of your posts. I have not signed up with Coinbase yet but I want to send my KYC to an exchange that will not mess me around further down the line. Coinbase is still an option but Bittrex sounds excellent too..
What are your personal views of Bittrex over Coinbase for example?
Honestly, I can't comment on that comparison as I only used Coinbase once in 2013. I've never been a fan of Coinbase but at the same time, I think that I should've tried (and experienced) it more. Anyways, I'm planning to try it out in the near future, so I think that I'll be able to compare these two soon. Moreover, never forget, DYOR before risking your funds anywhere!

Thank you for updating I will do my own research but it seems like the idea of opening an account with Coinbase will take a back-seat for now. I think Bittrex is where the focus is so I hope to get on their website probably Monday or Tuesday to sign up and see what happens. As long as I can get hold of a live chat operator/helper on their website before signing up I think things will go very smoothly. Thank you for taking the time to chat to the live operators and getting that 100 BTC daily limit confirmed. I will never be in a position to do that but when I do want to send fiat to an exchange and also withdraw fiat from an exchange I just want a seamless transaction with a reputable company that does not selective scam customers or sell their KYC on the black market to criminals.

I am a victim of Bittrex 's scam ieo ocean. Bittrex sold ieo ocean for their customers with price 0.00002350 btc and got $ 6 million. But price ieo ocean dropped over 70% from the begin trading on the exchange (0.00000650 btc ). And price ocean now is 0.00000484 btc, this is obviously scam ieo ocean. I lost 80% my money with this scam ieo. I buy ieo ocean because I trust bittrex but all are only scam. Now I am very sad, panic and angry.
Bittrex, please refund money for everyone, or no one will trade with your exchange any more.

I never heard of "ocean ieo". Please explain the back story of who/what "ocean" actually was and exactly how did they scam you? Could you also please explain why "Bittrex is responsible" and why "Bittrex is liable" for losses incurred by investors if a company comes along and scams? If for example, Binance receives $6 million for handling the "ocean ieo" then it turns out that "ocean" was a scam, why would Binance be responsible? If for example, somebody buys advertising space seeking investors on social media or any media such as Washington Post, Youtube, Facebook and CNN (and passes their due-dilligence test) then decides to scam, why would those media outlets be responsible for paying back your losses? The same logic applies to crypto exchanges too.

You are staff of bittrex ?! ieo ocean a coin of bittrex , bittrex sold for everyone with price 0.00002350 btc and dump 80% when bittrex list it on exchange. If you want to know more ioe ocean coin, please read twitter of bittrex. If you want to know why must bittrex get responsibility? ,please read twitter of bittrex, thousands of people are angry and panic because of the scam ocean coin of bittrex. I also explain more: ieo = initial exchange offering - Contrary to Initial Coin Offerings (ICOs), an IEO is administered by a crypto exchange on behalf of the startup that seeks to raise funds. Please read more twitter of bittrex so as to know more what happening at bittrex . Donot ask me why and what ? lol

I think Donsky, that you are a bit confused, if the ieo ended and the coin/token was inserted in the free market, at that moment the exchange responsibility about (i repeat) free market conditions is no more a responsibility of the exchange himself. But only relay on marked conditions, so if price goes down 80% means that investor don't like the coin, but you can't accuse the exchange of being responsible (i repeat, if the ieo period ended...) the difference imho from an ico, is that all the first part of selling at fixed initial price is executed on the exchange instead of the company himself, but after the ico/ieo ended is the market who rules, so volatility is normal.
If the price was lowered when the coin offering was still in place, well, in this case is a responsibility of the exchange, but could also be that the company asked to lower the initial price, again how you are sure that is a fault of bittrex ?
I'm only a user of bittrex, no involved in company, i'm talking only from the perspective of logic, and i don't know anything about this coin, and his story, just to be clear.

If that token was a spectacular failure which resulted in people losing money what had it got to do with Bittrex? I see nothing at the moment suggest Bittrex is a scam. In my opinion and thanks to the feedback provided by Raja_MBZ I can safely say there is nothing of substance to allude to Bittrex being a scam.

Don't argue with me, ask a lawyer and you will receive the same answer... LOL. https://cryptopotato.com/ieos-nightmare-ocean-protocol-lost-80-following-its-ieo-on-bittrex/at the link a summary of what happened, that confirm me that no way to consider the exchange responsible... a free market is a FREE market, you can only blame at people who bought and sold at a loss... but in the future if you didn't sell, can be that the price can recover, but if you bought for a quick gain, yes you are fucked.... And the TOS of bittrex : https://bittrex.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/360026912572-BITTREX-INTERNATIONAL-TERMS-OF-SALE-RELATING-TO-INITIAL-EXCHANGE-OFFERING-OF-OCEAN-TOKEN-BY-OCEAN-PROTOCOL-FOUNDATION-LTDRISK DISCLOSURE: BY PARTICIPATING IN THE IEO AND PURCHASING OR HOLDING COINS YOU ARE VOLUNTARILY CHOOSING TO ENGAGE IN SOPHISTICATED AND RISKY FINANCIAL TRANSACTIONS. etc. etc.

And that settles that. People need to be aware of what they are doing when they invest in any project. Those that buy or sell or at the wrong time cannot put the blame on an exchange because that is simply preposterous. Thank you for the link. I like the look of Bitterex and will be signing up with them soon.

Bittrex de-listing coins left right and center Link please? Maybe those coins being de-listed have a shady team behind them or maybe those coins are no longer active? Yes, the coins that are being de-listed are totally dead and are often used by pump and dump groups. This was a "much needed" action, as Bittrex has been online for years and never de-listed any single project all this time. It was the time for a little clean-up, and they've started to do so last month! https://bittrex.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/360027926752-Pending-Market-Removals-5-24-2019P.S. I can't wait till ZCL gets de-listed and goes straight to zero. I hope it gets de-listed in the next batch!

I had a feeling they were de-listing useless broken coins and tokens. I hope all exchanges get rid of the coins and tokens that are regularly used to defraud the community by faking prices because pumps and dumps affect the whole market.

I requested a certain coin from bittrex to my wallet. It shows up as completed in the withdraw history. Shows as authorized. But i don't see the wallet shown in my wallet.
Does that mean it shows as authorized and completely but might take a while to show up in a wallet?

Last time i requested another altcoin from bittrex to a wallet. It showed as completed in my withdraw history and showed up in my wallet pretty quickly. But the altcoin i just requested and sent to my own wallet, it still shows 0 in it.
Anyone knows if this is normal?
