Yes, I strongly agree with such phrases, for example if we don't want to go to school and don't want to learn then poverty will exist in front of our eyes, because if we are not educated, then we will be closer to stupidity. I think stupidity is the starting point of poverty.

I think it is not stupidity but being unable to stand and be brave to take the risks. Sometimes, commiting mistakes makes us look stupid but it is not actually being stupid but rather making life lessons where we would be able to do better in our next tries.

This is something I totally dont agree with, did you ever hear the sentence : ''money makes money''? if no I forgive your naive question and thoughts, if YES than I think you are stupid yourself, someone who has money does make money far and far more easily than someone who doesn't have money, the stories you hear about people being rich from being broke are mostly made up and are very very rare and they had luck, in this world if you are poor you are mostly doomed because with being poor there comes much more, someone who is poor is physically not healthy, mentally not healthy and not happy at all, with all that they dont have the right things to eat and therefore they dont get the healthy nutritions they need in order to think clearly etc. etc.
This all is a domino effect whereas someone who is poor is not stupid if he doesn't get rich but he/she has not the chances.

Ow wait, Don’t you think that there are also rich people that are stupid? Not all rich are wise and not all poor are fool. Yes, stupid decision can lead us in poverty but stupidity can make us wise also after we learned from it. We can never achieve success without stupid decision and mistakes.

Stupidity behavior is not in the status of a person either they are rich or poor. There are poor but knowledgeable and there are rich but stupid. This kind of behavior is really a hindrance to have a successful life but sometimes it is helpful also. There are a lot of intelligent poor people, but they lack the connections and capital to make anything happen.  If you want to truly be wealthy you need a good network and lots of capital to play with.  It's nearly impossible to become rich from nothing.  There are some rags to riches stories but the chances are slim to none.  I would consider no one to truly be "self-made" because everyone relies on someone in one way or another.

I big to disagree on such phrase mate. If the reason of being poor is foolishness then everyone has ultimate life chances even the in the place where modernization is not known specially the lack of of education. And when it comes to the highest understanding of giving value in life I can say is always what the wise persons do and it has no limitation whether or not a person is rich. I do not agree with this, everyone is born with different conditions and economic circumstances, not everyone has the opportunity to go to school, many people do not want to go to school because they know their conditions are limited but you can not say they are stupid, many people are very intelligent, all due to their fate. I think this statement is a discussion material that can be supported or denied. I consider it so because of the extent of the definition of stupidity as well as the definition of poverty. For some reason, smart people are not always rich and poor people are not always stupid.

A fool is not a person who has no knowledge at all. A fool is a person who is already satisfied with the knowledge that has been achieved. Furthermore, the poor are not people who have nothing. Poor people are people who feel unable to achieve something better.

It is really too direct yet the truth. Even those who are already rich or wealthy can lose that glory in an instant with just one wrong decision. For example, those who have won millions in LOTTO, then went unheard of.

But those people that won the lottery did not earn that money they were just fortunate enough to win it and they lose their money because they do not know the amount of effort needed to at first earn that money and the effort needed to keep that money, this is why most of the people that win the lottery end up declaring bankruptcy in the next years since they only spend money but they never generate it.

Luck plays a massive role too. But it's not a major factor. Just about anyone with a hard-working mind can achieve richness. May not be rich in money but in different ways. As I said luck plays a role. A lot of rich people are dumb. They inherited most of their money from their parents or ancestors. On the other hand, not all poor people are stupid. Especially if there is nothing left for them to take the risks, it's like the end of the road for them. Sometimes, it's fate that brings us to a certain class like you born with a poor or rich family. You can notice that when you check the post quality here. An year back, the post quality was much better and many of the users were making good quality posts. But after the influx of third world users, the quality of the posts have gone down drastically.
