Looks like a vicious circle, huh?

Maybe it used to be like you said, but not any more. With the help of the Internet poor people can educate themselves to the level which is higher than you can get from most universities, especially taking into account that rich kids just goofing around learning nothing while being in expensive educational institutions. Many old sayings lose their relevance these days.

Yes indeed, stupidity is very close to poverty but poor people are not necessarily stupid people. Because if we look deeper into those who are poor, then at least we will find a potential that can be developed from the poor and the question is, why if they have the potential they are poor?
Well, this is about a support that the poor do not get so they find it difficult to develop that potential. Yes I know if they are smart and have potential they will continue to look for ways to get up. But on the other hand there is a situation that they cannot get out of the pit of poverty.

Stupidity is close to poverty in one perspective, because the rich one always try to keep them stupid.

no. I do not think that. There are very smart people, great artists but they don't love money. they love things that give them a positive spirit.

That's right, since lately there are no excuses for uneducated people. You can find any information you need on the Internet, plus various free courses etc. But I wouldn't blame older people for their ignorance though. They could spend their youth earning a living while rich kids were getting their education, and there were no Internet, so poor people couldn't educate themselves on their own. It's really good that those times are gone forever.

There are two types of stupid people, there are those who when financial opportunity comes for them to make money, they see the opportunity and they refuse to act on it and thus miss out on making money and there are those who with lack of financial knowledge don't even have the sense of seeing the opportunity when it's staring at the them in the face. The former may not make the same mistake again and make an opprtunity pass them by but with the latter he is going to doomed to go through this process unless someone enlightens him.

I would say that this statement as a whole is stupid. Pour people in general are not stupid, they have to survive on small amount of cash so they are wise and know how to ration and make things work with what they got.

There is some truth if you rephrase the statement - pour does not have the same opportunities as others, inmost cases they have to go to hardest route just because they do not have the means or information, again because they are busy with working and surviving.

Can't believe you would say something so idiot.  If you die poor it can be from a multitude of reasons.  I've seen people with serious health issues having to spend hundreds of thousands if not millions on their healthcare.  Next time to see a poor person don't just assume they are stupid or lazy.

There are a few observations that I made:

1. Stupid people tend to have too many children (up to a dozen), thus worsening their poverty levels.
2. Stupid people never care about learning skills, so remain poor forever.
3. Stupid people don't care about savings.

#1 is the most important, IMO. In my country, most of the couples have just one child and having two is a rarity. But I have visited third world nations such as India and Bangladesh. India in particular fares really bad. In the two largest provinces (Uttar Pradesh and Bihar), it is very common to find couples having 7-8 children each. And the worst part is that the political power of these states have increased as a result of the rising population.

It is a never ending cycle. Illiterate and stupid people tend to have dozens of children each. And due to this large number, none of them gets proper education and skills that are required to land a job. However, since the population is large the political parties will shower them with more and more freebies, in order to win their votes. This in turn encourage these people to have even more children.

Well, actually this would not be hard if that eagerness is coming from inside, when you want a change because you want a better life, you'll surely do everything to improve. It started with your plan, and willingness to initiate it, without it, you'll only stop in the planning phase and no action will be taken.

People does not want to be stupid, some are just deprive with an opportunity, and not everyone have the same high level of knowledge, some are just think poorly or they are just satisfied with what they achieved now because they are afraid of taking risk.

The best way to solve poverty is not to look for a job only, we have to learn how to invest on ourselves and be confident we will succeed.

In this 21st century, lack of modern knowledge such as computer literacy, digital competence, technical skills etc is bad for an individual.

At the same time being smart is a talent too because not everyone is capable of learning something quickly, not everyone can focus on things and etc. Also everything hugely depends on what kind of person you are, bad situation leaves some people in even worse while it's great stimulus for others to escape from that bad and develop further.
I'm sorry but OP's right, poor people have very, very low education. I have some educated people who are poor too, why? Because they couldn't use their education, you have to be a little bit flexible.

If there happens to be some rich guy who is stupid, then he'll not remain rich for very long. Even in order to protect your wealth, you need a certain amount of intelligence. I can give you hundreds of example where stupid people became rich, either through inheritance or just because of their luck. But almost all of them became poor pretty soon. One example here:

Yes, indeed. When it comes to money issues, then being stupid do play a huge factor. But, generally, in life, it does not necessarily mean that if you are stupid, you are poor, or vice versa. Because, at some point, we all have our stupid moments. It's better to say that the lack of determination and strategy is what causes poverty.
