Stupidity is not close to poverty because poverty only exists because people are not fortunate enough to experience the education and also the other needs for a person to prosper or thrive in life. My grandmother used to say that if you were born poor, it is not your fault, but if you die one, it is your fault. I honestly don't believe in it at first, but I understand it better now when I grow up. We are the ones who control our circumstances, yes there will be ups and downs in life, but then we can do something to improve our lives. You don't have to be super rich. But you can make your life better and give your family and loved ones a happier and more comfortable life.

I have heard that saying before and many people do not like it especially those that are still poor because it makes them accountable for their mistakes, one of the things that I have found which is very common among those that have been unable to improve their life conditions is that they keep blaming the system, the rich, the government or anyone that they imagine is putting them down.

And to me that is a big reason why people do not progress not only in economic terms but in anything in general, you need to be accountable for your actions and for the outcomes that you get, only once you accept that fact you will begin to make the changes necessary to improve your life conditions.

Those who are ready for criticism and willing to adjust are mostly the beneficiaries  of success.  As those who are not willing to any changes
and always afraid or angered when being criticize unable to see the future benefits. Willingness to challenge your destiny and keep trying to
achieved your goals will attained into succession.

Criticism is centuries old activity which is there for making you better version of yourself but only if you know how to deal with it. Majority gets demotivated with criticism and is unable to see any positivity in it. Moreover people who criticize are not in habit of doing positive criticism. They simply go for sing derogatory remarks. But as you said, those who are able to withstand this criticism are the ones who win.

it's all about the odds and luck. There are so many smart people out there, they might try their best in making money but just not as fortunate as those rich people. When talking about intelligence, some people so lucky was born from a rich family and get access to the best education, but what if they were born from a poor family they don't necessarily get all of that, so again this is all just about luck and the opportunity.

I would agree but only to a certain limit. If a child is 8 years old and he's poor, then surely he's not poor because he's stupid. But if a 28 year healthy youth is poor, and continue to remain poor, then surely that's because of stupidity.

You don't really need to wait until someone else criticizes your actions and your behaviours, you can do that by yourself, and if you do that you will notice that you will soon improve in whatever task that you are analyzing so closely, that is why when it comes to trading I write every single circumstance that led me to my decision to take a trade or to not take a trade.

That way I can make a very fair assessment months later about what I was thinking at that time and if there was something wrong with the way I was perceiving the situation I will make an effort to change it and it is in this way in which I have improved as a trader.

yes you are right everything depends on different situations, but here the OP is not talking about the children as the poverty of children is also due to the stupidity of their parents, so it means that OP is talking about the responsible youth of the society which because of the foolish mindset just loss their money and they become poor.

Individuals, like me, lose thousands of dollars a year and have lost investments simply because we are uninformed, and with our feelings, and not our brains, we actually make financial decisions. That is popular saying, even if we born poor; there are still opportunities out there that can build our wealth. For those who still young like me, we should acquire assets that can generate income. If we will acquire.liabilities and not asset then we will stuck in this kind of life where we are working for money. We should learn how money will work for us. I agree with that. Being poor is okay as long as you know that you are dedicated to achieve success. The self-screening the best of criticism not only traders but everyone can do. One can really monitor his activities and decisions timely to bring improvements and avoid other’s criticism. Still if someone criticize you, instead of demotivating take it in positive way and improve yourself. Making corrections in yourself is the best reaction to any type of criticism instead of hatred.

Correct, that is something that will not only work in the markets but on everything else and it is the only way to really improve, if you are not going to monitor precisely what you do in each trade then do not even bother, you are going to lose money.

Losing money in the markets is inevitable but we need to come to the point in which we become good enough to produce profits in it and many people never get to this point because they do not really take the time to write what they did and then sit down and think about what they did wrong.

Very well said, Running behind knowledge is better than chasing money. If you will have a better command over knowledge of a business, you can create multiple ways to earn out of it. If you do not have knowledge and you just want to get money to overcome poverty this will give you bad consequences including involvement in illegal and stupid activities.

Yes, that is like what bill gates said. It is okay to be poor but dying as a poor is your fault. We are the captain of our own boat which we can easily dictate the movement of our ship. No I don't agree with your statement.  A lot of poor people are really intelligent but they don't have the resources to succeed.   Being abused as a child, growing up in a poor country filled with violence you will have a very small chance to overcome that.

Most rich people I know in real life are either stupid with good connections or just got extremely lucky.

Success has nothing to do with poverty or richness. One who struggles get its reward. Poor people are blessed with the same mind and same level of intelligence. For me, I think poor are more successful as they are more hard working due to the difficult phase of their lives. The hardships they faced, make them more experienced and knowledgeable. They know how to best use the available amount of resources and bring benefits out of it.
