No...its not that simple  after 4 hours now trying and some experience with the other wallets all working fine on my computer, your comment just adds to the frustration.

Can anyone tell me if this wallet might conflict with Devcoin, Megacoin or BTC wallets or is this not an issue?

Relax. Nothing to get frustrated. It does not conflict with the other alts you have mentioned. The easiest solution is to take a backup of the 'wallet.dat' file from the C:\Users\XXXXX\AppData\Roaming folder. (You dont have to do this if its a new wallet and if you dont have coins). Then just delete this whole folder 'PandaCoin'.

Now re-launch the application. It should work, if not go to the roaming folder again and see if you have 'pandacoin.conf' file and copy/paste the nodes and save it. Re-launch it and it should work. Hope this helps..

One thing is refusing to mine/buy a coin which you find risk in.  Quite another is to proactively set out to undermine it and everyone who wishes to make a profit off it, and becoming a worse evil than the perceived evil you are riling against.  These copycat coins are wasting peoples time and money, much more so than that 3% IPO which has been transparent and has yet to break from its promises.  

You mining MINT instead of PND is very telling.  It means you don't believe in this coin at all.  Why would you, its only a scam copycat coin after all.

PANDA is a copycat of PAND, now they blame PND of copying! what a joke!

PANDA did not copy PAND's logo or is trying to impersonate it.  It is honest about the reuse of the name, wolong is named after a panda reserve in China, so he has a real good reason why he chose that name.  PND on the other hand does not, they only named it to confuse people, as evident by the theft of the logo.

Also PANDA is making 4x the profit doge was making a week ago for miners due to the demand wolong is creating in China.  PND on the other hand is making jack squat.  You care about profits current and future? Mine/buy PANDA, you care to lose your investment joining the tolling wagon on one of the 3 alternate fake panda coins that will not be going anywhere?  Mine/Buy PND.
