According to NIST and ECRYPT II, the cryptographic algorithms used in Bitcoin are expected to be strong until at least 2030. (After that, it will not be too difficult to transition to different algorithms.)

I was about to say.  stop trying to hold the price down by selling every coin you mine.
wulongs coin is tanking in price and hash, PND difficulty is higher and higher and people still dumping the coins for cheap. i dont get it.  why not everyone set the price for 10 satoshi and just wait it out.   peoeple are not going to come in if they see everyone dumping the coin for cheap. if we just let this ride to 20+ satoshi everyone will jump onto this wagon

There's always a selloff when a coin first hits an exchange, but in this case, it isn't even that big considering there are over 3B PND in circulation. Most people are in fact holding now, including the big wallets.

In other news, there are still too many miners on pandapool (currently over 530mh/s!!). Other pools are working fine, even if they may not pay as quicky. If we grow at the same rate I will need a dedicated MySQL server by next week.
