I'm glad you like it  Wink
I already make 2D version.

Yes I can make clean vector image, with transparent background...
but I think that realistic render is better... also I can vectorize 3D render. Smiley

Can you make the coin in 2D more like the 3D coin. I like the colors of the 3D coin more.

I understand the shadow makes the coin "pop"... and that's great for larger presentations of the logo... but take a look at http://www.coinwarz.com/cryptocurrency.. there are no coin logos with a shadow backdrop... we need a rendering that looks good in small icon format too..

Anyone wanting to just verify wallet for MAC can download below. Back up your wallet before using a new wallet!

https://www.dropbox.com/s/eulx3bsvmidp6ld/Flappycoin-Qt-2.0.0.1-MacOSX.dmg

Link will change to website later, for now just including this for stability testing for this compile.

I can verify that it launches in Mavericks.  I am new to flappycoin so I am having to download the block chain before I can test to make sure transactions work with it, but so far so good.

I have had no problems with the wallet, I received my coins to it fine.  One minor nitpick is that the progress bar doesn't seem to move when it is downloading the block chain.  It just sits about half a centimeter from the left end, even when it is basically done (It then disappears like it is expected to).

This will be fixed in new release. Reading through the thread 2.0.0.1 is "stable" but does have some incompatibility, so the "unstable" parts are simply things like you are describing. Thank you for the feedback.

Reading through responses now and i'll get back to everyone. Those are some nice coin designs Cheesy

We'll make a reddit thread soon discussing the contest details and including a template for crpytocoins in general in .PSD format.

http://flappycoin.biz/download/CryptoCoinsTemplate.psd

For anyone asking, our official domain is flappycoin.biz for any material being related to users. Flappycoin.info will slowly be the secondary domain.

Don't worry. They are very generous selling at such a low price :3 Especially considering the things coming.

Such generous flappers :3

Though seriously speaking this is exactly what was expected/will happen for a bit, large raises/falls till we get the real supporters. A lot of people holding wallets that lost faith are trying to sell as markets go up/down. They'll regret it in the future. No one said this will be quick, don't sell would be my advice to everyone.

FlappyAPI testing, tipbot almost ready, new wallets ready and will be released after block 110k, checkpoints for quality of block chain, and TX Fees that are fair for both miners and users and as services are readded and marketplaces start to build up we will see the real influx.

Let them sell for now, we are not out of the water yet, this is a new beginning. They'll regret it though.

Github: https://github.com/flappycoin-project/Flappycoin-Rebirth

This is version 3.0 development to our newest lead wallet developer mammix2.

We ask that no one really tries to use the wallet now, though it is stable and combatible. It'd just be confusing to see different version numbers on nodes for everyone.
We are currently testing.

It was rebuilt from litecoin source directly, so no more bad code, and it will be stable.
No binaries are compiled/distributed at this time and we will be deciding on the appropriate release date.

So if you're the type who likes to check and verify that is what we are currently doing.
We are beginning to work on branding within wallet at this time.

In backend nodes will no longer be called "Satoshi" but will start a new naming convention "Flaptoshi". The seed nodes lead to correct DNS and also we will be ensuring compatibility on all Operating Systems.

It's technically stable but again please don't use it until the release. Even transactions between 2.0.0.1 and 3.0 are compatible but we don't want to run into any messy situations, so we will be releasing it all together most likely after block 110,000.

Great work dev! Looking forward to getting past 110k block and seeing the plans you have for the coin mature Cheesy Quite surprised the price has not shifted more upwards, but slow and steady upwards trend is better for the longevity of the coin Smiley

I do have to ask though. All what work for nothing? Did anyone expect this to actually be a week type of deal?

People forget bitcoin took nearly 6 years, dogecoin months upon months, other successful cryptocurrencies equal amounts of time. Flappycoin had a major crash and devs left and we took over. There is still a lot to fix we are moving towards. If anyone expected this to be a week or monthly type of deal I am very sorry we weren't more clear about all this. Though I have said a thousand times already, we would rather see value rise slowly then to turn this into a pump and dump. That is absolutely what we don't want. We want a real currency that's used. Not people that sit on wallets and crash markets.

People keep asking "When will it be X price again!?" and we don't know. A lot of damage occured in the past, and it will take a while to regain trust with the new team over the old team, and to bring new things to the table.

We have been communicating for about 2 weeks that we have to be realistic and work together and it'll take time.

I mean at least I tried to be as clear as possible about that, to give realistic expectations to what is going to occur.

Also about trusting me or not I am not getting into any battles with anyone. If you don't trust me or the team we apologise you feel that way and people can make the choice themselves. We wanted to bring maturity and realism to this community, and to work towards goals. Bickering never helps or solves a situation.

From what I can see it's only a couple of posts that have been negative and they are frankly trolling as there is nothing constructive in the posts. Ignore, don't feed them, and keep going as you are- communicating extremely well and getting things done at a realistic pace and in a mature way (I see one of the negative posters has already noted they were mistaken with your identity Wink ). The silent majority will be very grateful of the efforts of you and the team; the absence of a lot of old detractors is very notable Wink

Great job with the change over to the new wallet dev team and everyone else in the community. I still can't believe that you guys managed to accomplish what you have. Don't listen to what the detractors have to say. If anyone has actually read through this whole grueling process they will clearly see that it took a lot of patience, teamwork and organizing to get to this point. Keep it up crew!

I'd also like to announce that flap.locl.ca has updated to the new wallet, it's a small group but we sure appreciate the work you guys have done to breathe new life into the coin.

Thanks again!!
