To my opinion, i think all other coin depends on bitcoin margin.. The higher the bitcoin price, the higher the other coin price..

Bitcoin is center of all cryptocurrency.
So, when Bitcoin price is going down the other coin is Affected on it.
We can look like ETH, NEO, and other.

Yes obviously there is a relationship between the two because ethereum is tether to bitcoins so obviously, most of the altcoins will drop if bitcoins is going to decrease its price in the market.

It's closely related because the value of the entire crypto market is based off of BTC.
If the value of btc goes down, then the value of alts go down automatically in proportion to how much btc fell.
It is somewhat similar to currencies that are pegged to the US dollar.

The reason why the market is this way is because btc is really the only coin that is widely traded and can be quickly converted to fiat.
for example, You can't take your ADA or XMR and trade it with other alts directly, you would have to change it to btc, then use the btc to buy another coin.
Also, it's not very easy to sell your ada or xmr directly for cash.  you convert it to btc, and then you sell the btc for cash.
It's not like governments decided it to be this way or there is some legislation that forces it to be this way.
it is just the natural reality of the market.
BTC has been around forever, it is the first and most widely used.
The community needed something to rally around to create valuation on the market and became btc.

That's the moral of story which is going from last few years. Whenever Bitcoin fall, other altcoin also fall and when Bitcoin boom, other altcoins also boom. Based on my own understanding that`s the general situation of crypto world because altcoin price is always depends on the price of bitcoin because altcoin made based on the characteristic of bitcoin or in the other word bitcoin is the mother of all coins in the crypto world.

All altcoin is based on the bitcoin. So Bitcoin is really important to other all altcoins. We can see a great example for that one because the current BTC price is around 7000 - 8000$ and altcoin are in low prices. The main reason is the BTC price goes down.
