It has been noted from the past that the price of altcoins follows the price of the bitcoin that means when the price of bitcoin is high then the price of altcoins rise high. Actually this relationship is not proved by any research but it is built on the basis of the previous experience.

Bitcoin is generally a dominant crypto currency and its impacts on the price of altcoins and results to similar price fluctuation. There's no specific reason behind this. It is just the nature of bitcoin.

I believe that all altcoins depend on the price of bitcoin and so now all prices are falling.

This is one of the strangest thing that most of us the noobs still don't get but from my little research i have come to find out that bitcoin which is the king of all cryptocurrencies dominates all the altcoins and therefore the supremacy of bitcoin moves them also. This simply means that when bitcoin goes green they also do same and otherwise.

Altcoin and bitcoin exist in the same market and both are crypto currencies. there will always be a link between the two. But this has not been proven by an actual research. Yet by seeing the pattern of the market for the past years this can be said that when the price of bitcoin changes the price of ALT coins changes too.

When you look at the price of an altcoin in USD, you are actually looking at the altcoin’s price in relation to Bitcoin’s exchange rate with USD. Every altcoin value must first be converted to Bitcoin equivalent value before it is converted to USD.

When the Bitcoin price falls or rises against the USD, all the altcoins will usually follow. This is because all altcoin prices are based on their Bitcoin exchange rate, not their USD exchange rate.

There is a general sense of commitment. But not in the opposite direction. Because bitcoin makes hard movements in both directions, altcoins are affected too much. Make sure Bitcoin now doubles itself and there is no such thing as altcoin.

All alts are paired to the price of bitcoin. Which is why when bitcoin goes down in price, alts go down with it; vice-versa. Now there is a time last year when bitcoin is tanking while alts are mooning. This might be an isolated case but generally, the previous statement holds true most of the time.

Bitcoin movement is often followed by some altcoins, but it also depends on the enthusiasts altcoin it. Bitcoin is a benchmark in crypto so that the value of altcoins is synchronized with bitcoin. This is already a patent in the crypto.

When Bitcoin price fall then almost other cryptocurrencies will fall as well because BTC is the first and the best cryptocurrency at the moment so almost other cryptocurrencies' price are affected by price of BTC. You can easily see that right at the beginning when any token/coin listed on any exchange it'll have X/BTC or maybe X/ETH as well. So when price of BTC fall then all other will follow BTC Smiley

The value of altcoin depends of the value of bitcoin but I feels ethreum is little class apart from these stuffs as we witnessed last year ethreum's value kept increasing even when value of bitcoin and other altcoin were decreasing. Let's hope ethreum take the lead this time and play with the value of altcoin.

I very much hope that in the near future (maybe a year or a little more) altcoins will stop bargaining with bitcoin and will cease to depend on the bitcoin course. I think that this is not for all 1,600 coins / tokens, because 90 percent is a complete scam. And they see those coins / tokens that will be in demand by the community, who will have a ready product that they will use. I think that in a year or two the cmc table will be from 200 to 300 positions.

Literally from time past the prices of altcoins depends on the steady growth of bitcoin in the market
But in recent times, even though bitcoin price is low, we have coins that have done 100x and 1000x and even 8000x
So don’t get it mixed up
Altcoin  doesn’t depend on bitcoin (at least not all )

Bitcoin has dominance over the altcoins. SO, when the price goes up the price of altcoin goes up as well and vice cersa.

It’s a common nature of this market. That’s why don’t afraid. Take some time and hold your coin. Because these two are the best coin of this market. That’s why i believe situation will change.

In my opinion, there is a relationship between bitcoin and altcoin since these crypto's are correlated with the other. Also, bitcoin and altcoin are directly proportional with the other. I had been observing this scenario for quite sometime and all I can say bitcoin is the baseline for every bear and bull markets happening in the crypto world.

I think there are altcoin that when the price of bitcoin is down some other altcoin is down also.and I think that there are also altcoin that don't affect its price when bitcoin is down.

So what do you think if which altcoin are not affected when the price of bitcoin are crashing? Almost all altcoins here are depends on bitcoin price like what happened now in the market, bitcoin are down from $20K down to $6K-$7K and most of coins is down also.

I also noticed the behavior of bitcoin prices against altcoins. And also my question all this time. Maybe friends here can provide a little information or article research on the relevance of the above.
