Spatula, do you mean a GPU miner? A CPU miner would be....the wallet...

If you have an nVidia card it'd be Cudaminer, if you have Radeon card it'd be cgminer.

If you post more detail we can probably get you going.

Just one thing though....bear in mind that with GPU mining the difficulty of Fatecoin is random, so it could easily end up being 1000 times the difficulty.

Well i have my gpus pointed elsewhere at the moment, and now that HVC is gpu i have some CPUs with nothing to do. I figured i would give this coin a go. With most coins for example, i could use minerd on various PCs and point it back to one PC running a wallet for solo mining. I would rather not install a wallet on all my machines. Any clue on how to go about doing this?

Rewards（the rewards of the block is all random,depend on your fate）:
   1-30days，6~100(random) fatecoin /block
   31days~60days,6~66(random) fatecoin/block
   61days~90days，6~33(random)fatecoin/block
   91days~120days，6~16.5(random) fatecoin/block

Does it continue like this:

121days~150days, 6~8.25(random) fatecoin/block

151days~180days, 6~6(random) fatecoin/block
                          or
151days~180days, 6~4.125(random) fatecoin/block <-----this doesn't make sense


Would 6 fatecoin/block be the minimum from 151days on?

This is what I did. First download qt110.  Then download qt111 and extract it within your qt110 folder.  It will ask you to replace some files, click yes or ok.  Then it should be good.  Remember, it may take up to 3 hours for your wallet to sync on the correct chain.  Don't give up if your coins magically disappear. Good luck!

Even intel G1820 can mining and get the fatecoin, because the difficulty 0.00024414 is very low and never change. CPU is good enough~ no need GPU & pool.

DEV tells me point is Scrypt jane + time limited algo

DEV says time limited algo can let GPU and POOL no advantage.

Like eugenetsou mentioned, the difficulty does not change for CPU mining.  Considering, you can spend 3+ hours and not hit a block because you're on the wrong chain.  Would you really want to use your GPU's?  You can use your GPU's to mine something else and have your wallet open and mine FATE.  2 for 1 SPECIAL!
