By the way, can anyone tell how to stake with BlackHalo? I unlocked the Wallet, and aktivate staking. Is this enough or do I need a cold staking IP insert?
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=469640.msg26443242#msg26443242

You don't have to cold stake, that is optional. Make sure you have both keys loaded (in the history tab it tells you how many keys are loaded). And also make sure it's unlocked and activated in settings.

I agree with your perspective on POS coins, they definetly faded away in 2015/2016 but will come back because they are just a better
consensus mechanism, atleast energy wise i know some miners would maybe want to debate me there.

What do you mean by msm?

Could see blk coming back, who knows, kinda like vericoin they have both had lackluster 2017 compared to the rest of the market.

this is an old coin, why a renewed interest now?

Yes Blackcoin is old. Older than all the hyped coins.

But it's running stable. It has set new strandards like PoS3.0 and was copied plenty of times. Till now not one serious security or stability issue has appeared in Blackcoin or in the Blackcoin technology that's been used by any of it's clones. It's running for 4 years now stable, fast and secure. What do you want more from a crypto? I mean, besides from hypes and scams?

any BLK under 5k sats is a steal...

Filling up my BLK bags some more...

With the worldwide growing confidence in crypto..many family, friends(noobies) ask me .."how to mine" "can i mine eth"

i tell them not to bother as its to difficult and risky..your better off setting up a few POS wallets on BLK  Smiley because eth is going to pos soon and you wont be able to afford it.
so now im gonna be setting up a few BLK pos wallets for friends and family to run for next few yrs.

Technically Bitcoin is a fork and Bitcoin Cash is the original blockchain. When the hard fork occurred, people had access to the same amount of coins on Bitcoin and Bitcoin Cash.- NIST

Maybe an exchange is staking the majority of active coins. The little wallets won't stand a chance against the giant wallets on exchanges.

You must have made something wrong. Check the blockchain an in/out of the huge staking wallets. 47.000 coins should give you 5 BLK a day, something like that. Something between 3 an 10 I guess.

Nobody needs a large amount of BLK to stake as I understand it, it just increases the odds of being 'chosen'    I dont think the largest wallets would squeeze anyone out completely, its not that kind of race.  Basically what happens is the age or time since you last staked helps count in your favour.   So someone with a small amount but who hasnt staked in a while will eventually get lucky.   Its more a queue like system, nobody on the network is excluded.

Obviously read FAQ yourself etc

Maybe 4x higher as a guess, does depend how many are using their wallets over exchange holdings.   I have noticed a positive trend in BLK interest, would be a positive overall if more people used wallets.   Anyone following that stat?
The arrow in the bottom right corner must be solid black to be a good stake.  Mine was clear just then and its flicked on now, sometimes takes a min?

Are you running your wallet continuously? The stake is a reward for securing the network and the wallet needs to be up and running to do so. This was a change made to the code not too long ago. I've only got 30k coins and I've received more than 6 coins in 2018. But my computer and wallet is running 24/7/365.

Rat4, will the blackcoin have new functions? Do you know EOS? The world of block chains has changed greatly. Do you have any ideas? Can you talk to us? Say something casually.
