i dont get it...
how in the world did anyone define a GF750TI as Mining Hardware... I returned returned a fresh Geforce 760GTX and bought a Radeon 280X because radeons do triple as good as Nvidia cards. Make it Asics or Radeon cards, thenn you can call it a reward.

Dont get me wrong, i like the way of "incentivicing" the crowds but you can't make it rewarding by giving away slow garbage hardware.

Sounds like you don't know what you're talking about.. The 750ti is based on nvidia's new chip, and beats the 760 hands down hashrate-wise.  It doesn't beat the 280x on speed, however it beats the 280x on hashrate per watt, not to mention, it's way cheaper, it runs more quiet and a lot cooler. So go do some reading up before you come in here talking shit that doesn't add up, thanks.

That is indeed news to me. Sorry 'bout that. I have been mining on my Gaming PC with 3x 280x for the last few months but electricity is so expensive here in germany(0.35$/kwh) that i am considering selling 2 of the cards to buy BC instead. Competing against rising diff and asics makes mining worthless for me.

Yep, the 750ti is very good on power consumption.

http://cryptomining-blog.com/tag/nvidia-gtx-750-ti-mining/

There is also the gridseed 5-chip, when mining scrypt it uses only
about 8W. And 60W for scrypt and SHA-256 (LTC & BTC) combined
mode.

The site above also has a load of articles about the gridseed.

I'm waiting until the ascis arrive before I decide to what setup I go
for. Possibly see newer gridseeds with higher hash rate, and that
also allows more time for better software/driver support.

If they endorse BlackCoin it'd be an instant worldwide marketing campaign. For A company that makes the best phones, but lacks a creative marketing staff, it's a step in the right direction.

Sounds like somebody loaded up on Blackberry's depressed stock. Good luck to you in your endeavors. Wink
Thank you, it's a great company in drastic need of a shakeup.

Have done a quick cross check of the bonus payout top 10 miners http://pastebin.com/Kxv1YUKF
with the top 1000 distribution list http://maarx.nl/maarx.nl/blackcoin/distribution/

The guy at the top is holding just over 300k
The rest are much smaller holders.

This is great news. It means the culture here is very much alive with fresh interest. I am taking advantage of this dip!

Someone has this BC address?
BCoin1x1WLkqMPcJcuFvbHcErNfDcba5gB

That has to be a vanity addresses I read about for BTC. Generated the same technique? Very nice.  Grin
Yeap, could be so. It's a mater of minute or so to generate BCoin.... address.
And I like BLACK.... personally  Wink

Cryptoalts is also getting an EU node very soon. And then an Australian one to follow up. I have some of my own miners on the EU node as we speak. It's going to take 1-2 days to make sure everything is working properly, but soon everyone will have a good failover option to the multipool. Merged worker tracking is already looking good. Wink

Thats good news. Have been waiting EU node. Your pool has been stable and working very well.  Smiley

IF i would ever consider getting back into the mining business i would rent an office space in norway, buy a few hundred fibonacci shares and wait for their shipping. Power in Germany is too expensive to compete on the global market.

there are indeed some problems with bandwith in the more rural areas. Wether or not the Telekom or the large cable company's decide to invest in your area depends to a large portion on their estimated ROI. IF there are just 500 new Contracts to be made, the'll surely take their time. There are several initiatives from our goverment to improve this situtation but the VDSL Providers are depending on the deutsche Telekom, a company that was in the state authorities hand just a few years ago. Everything decision takes ages that way. I was lucky, the major of my small rural town run a local campaign to involve a large broadband cable provider in our area. So i gained access to 2/6/12/32/50mbit Internet over the last few years. I could have 150mbit if i would want it, but 50 is more than enough for now :-)

In Terms of Solar Energy: Im not aware of any dedicated solar power plants in germany at all. Chosing your electricity provider depends just a few factors. Are you willing to pay in advance? do you want clean energy?  Du you prever local providers over the large industry leaders? It doesnt become much cheaper, the price range is from ~0.24€ /kwh to ~0.38/kwh + monthly fees for your electrcity meter.  So if i run 3x280 24/7 for a month i have to pay 160€ extra. Investing in solar cells on my roof is a matter of 12k € or more. Our roof would need a full overhaul if i would do that.

To summarize it: thats what coinwarz says:
