Hey guys,
Great job on getting that article out there. If it is welcome I have a suggestion.
Although the article seems to have been written for a general audience (which is good), it is drastically lacking in any information about HOW to invest in the coin. Sure on this board we all know how to go about getting the coins. However if the target of this release is people external of the community you need to not only get them interested but inform them HOW to be interested.
The link to blackcoin.co is good but even there the information about HOW to invest is lacking. If we want wider adoption we need to help people invest.
Just my thoughts. I also could have missed the instruction about how to invest in blackcoin, if that is the case please disregard.

That's my complaint in general. The press release doesn't actually say much. And it's written for a general audience, which is bad. If we're looking for a general audience, we need to offer them something, and right now we don't have anything to offer but a complicated system of investment for a currency that they can't spend. The PR blast was targeted toward finance and business sites, so should have been written catering to those folks. As it stands, it's nice that BlackCoin is putting the effort in, but people are way too hyped about a press release. I know a lot of these folks are young, and most of these coins aren't run out of offices, but a little professionalism goes a long way. If you're writing your own release, which I assume they did by reading it, you need to research on what makes a press release successful. Otherwise, hire a firm to help out. Since they're expecting people to invest massive amounts of money, I'd say hiring PR people would have been a good idea. Right now it feels like kids playing at business and it reminds me a lot of where eSports were when they were just getting going.

I was merely pointing out that there needs to be something to guide the non-crypto masses to be able to buy blackcoin easily. Cheers for sharing your opinion though. Phad

Forget wallstreet and press releases, BC multipool approaching 3 GH/s, we are doing exceptionally well in all areas
yes, focus on this long term. 3GH/s is huge ! aurora coin has 2gh/s network hashrate but our 3gh/s do not create new coins so only way is up

If we got it onto Coinkite surely there would need to be another press release? A real substantiator...
I know I'm buying today. And donating.

Blackout Wednesday is finally here!!! The naysayers and skeptics said it will never happen! They said we are all just hype! Today we make crypto history and prove them all wrong!!! BlackCoin is the real deal and today starts our journey to the top!!! We already broke through the 10,000 wall on multiple exchanges, and today we will keep breaking through walls until we surpass every coin in our path!!! 10,000 is just the beginning not the end!!! We are NOT a pump & dump coin. We are a JUMP & BUMP coin!!! We jump over obstacles and bump the completion out of the way!!! Now it is your turn to let the world know about BlackCoin. Tell your family, friends, neighbors, co-workers, classmates, and anyone else with a pulse!!! Lets show the rest of the crypto-community how determined we are to be #1!!! April 9th, 2014 is will always be known as the day the BlackCoin community made history!!!During the next two hours I will be posting links to the articles as they become available to me. I do not control the flow of how the articles will be published. Each financial website publish news articles at different times, but usually before the opening bell on Wall Street. If you are happy with the work I have done so far in two short weeks, and you want to show a little appreciation, you can donate here:BQQsUdYaqCGUDhdXPADto1gKwvEA2a92TP PS: There is more exciting news to come in the next few days and weeks ahead!!!

As a former news writer in the tech world, I'm happy to offer my insights. For clarity's sake, I'm strongly invested in BlackCoin and I am eager to see it succeed. I'm not trying to naysay or spread discontent, but I'm an investor and I'm glad I have an opportunity to be heard.

I was hoping to let this cat still in the bag, but it is out: CoinKite has added us to their voting list!http://www.coinkite.com/faq/altsThis is -huge- for BlackCoin. We are not even 45 days old and being considered to get added to one of the leading Point of Sale device manufacturers out there. Next to that they also offer a Debit Card (we'll ask them for a BlackCard version ) and of course an online wallet. Basicly, if we get the funds together your local shop will be able to accept BlackCoin real easy. BUT we need 25 BTC in BC value for this to happen. The good thing is: We already have sent 200,000 BC to their fund, which is about 20BTC at the moment. We still need 5 more BTC in value. This can happen in two ways: - You donate a little to their address: BD6n8ZeenBD9Uede3RGvBkc74pRgUm6zXE - You make the price go up to 12500 SAT After the 25BTC are confirmed we'll get accepted and implementation takes 4-5 weeks. TL;DR BLACKCOIN IS GOING COINKITE!Everyone donate - no matter HOW SMALL!!!! I have donated - please DONATE NOW - let's get this show on the road!
